jmaine: It took Oenomaus to assist Gannicus when he was dazed from the Egyptian earlier advantage

And i also remember when Spartacus faced and bested the Egyptian effortlessly, but had to withdraw when they were outnumbered by the Roman Soldiers ( referring to the scene where Mira was killed, trying to save their errant colleagues )
gannicus had that fight under control - i dunno why doctore got involved in the first place and got killed in the process. from the moment the egypian's sword killed doctore, gannicus went mental and there could only be one outcome when gannicus goes mental! same shit happened in the gods of the arena when he locked eyes with doctore and remembered he had to live for doctore's wife - gannicus stood up and face his opponent without swords and destroyed him with the goriest fatality move ever witnessed in the arena!

an angry gannicus would kill the whole of rome in a sword fight - don't mess with gannicus

justwise: I have to disagree with you, before finger print comes in HomeOffice still identify people, changing a single detail about him will not help him. If you details can not be found in the system the conclusion is that you came in illegally either through the bank of a lorry or smuggled in by other means. As far as asylum claim is concerned he got no serious case.
why do you love arguing against logic?
if i came in as austin okocha in 2004, overstayed and became illegal then i applied as mikel obi in 2012.....how would the home office know i was okocha in 2004? of course, i have gotten a new passport in mikel obi's name.....destroyed okocha's passport! i have no fingerprints in the system identifying me as okocha, no bank links or whatever. i would only submit details that prove i'm mikel obi.....so tell me, how would the home office know i am okocha without my biometrics or my old okocha passport?

The only slightly hope he has is if he is married with kid(s) and even at that its not going to be an easy battle with HomeOffice.
he doesn't have to be married with kids. a partner with his kid is ok! people have used their pets(cats and dogs) to cop their stay in the uk! it depends on how your lawyer can argue your case! right to family and private life can be manipulated to suit any purpose with a good lawyer. if this guy uses a new identity - he would get his stay!
Travel › Re: He's In London Illegally, What Are His Chances? by coogar: 2:20pm On Oct 21, 2012
justwise: His identity is known by HomeOffice, when he applied for visa in 2004 he supplied his personal details in Nigeria and his passport was stamped at heathrow airport when he arrived in the UK and he can not backdate anything, he can not change his details held already when he came into the country.

He might have applied for bank account or job with those details before his visa expires, he can not legally change those now.
his biometrics has to be tied to his name for that to stand a ground....if he does not have any fingerprint with the police or the home office, he can claim to be anyone! i am certain he must have destroyed the passport he came in with - like most illegal folks do! the home office does not have his identity. if the immigration fingerprints him, nothing would come up in their system.....there's no way the home office can prove he came in 2004 without biometrics unless they find a passport on him! as per bank accounts or job - that's easy! all he has to do is to flip his name or add a biblical name to his list of his names and a brand new date of birth and boom - he has a virgin identity!

justwise: Yes there is boko haram now but millions of Nigerians are running out of the country because of boko haram and Nigeria Govt hasn't completely lost the fight against boko haram. He stands no chance claiming an asylum based on that.
whether he stands a good chance or not depends on his lawyers - boko haram is on equal standing with al qaeda.....there's no way you would put boko haram as the reason for your asylum without the court taking it seriously.....if the immigration is stalling, get dailymail or telegraph to do an exclusive story!

Yes he can move to the south or east, he does not need to know anybody in those places to move there, if his life is really in danger then knowing somebody there does not matter. Who is breaching his human right? The British Govt or Nigerian Govt?
you don't even understand immigration rules in the uk......
if you have left lagos for more than 5 yrs.....sending you back there is a breach of your private life as you would not have friends to associate it! the dude also has a wife and a child, sending him back to nigeria would breach his human right - family life! all he needs is a good lawyer! people with obscene criminal records have been granted their stay in the uk - why would they refuse this dude if he gets a good lawyer?

Omo Alata: Not so easy over here. Even in your CV, if there's a year missing, they want to know what you were doing then (the nosey parkers grin)
it's easy.....
he has nothing to lose anymore - this can only go down in 2 ways - apply for a stay using the human right technicality and get a good lawyer! his human right says he should not be deported if he has a family(wife and child) and a private life........the 2nd option is no longer an option as the 14 yrs continuous stay got increased to 20 yrs in july......so he ought to have spent 20 yrs in the uk to qualify for long stay!

i dunno why fergie got involved in the matter - always feeling like football players are like his grand-children! rio knows the "kick-out" campaign is a farce, the fa don't really care about football players using racist language! the punishment is too lenient. if those words are used in the office, one could get a custodial sentence for it - why are football players immune to this? rio got 8 months ban for not turning up for a dope test which he later went for 2 days later - terry got 4-match ban for using a racist language....it's a joke!

fergie should mind his business - fergie is not black and he cannot really feel the pain of black players. lescott has never won the t-shirt - it's not in rio's contract he must wear a yeye t-shirt that has served no purpose! fergie should worry about the coming games and the fact that scholes/giggs are past their expiry date!

justwise: grin grin grin there was no Boko Haram when he left Nigeria 8yrs ago, Niger Delta crisis is not a security threat to all Nigerians the militants there kidnaps mainly oil company workers and destroy pipelines.
but there is boko haram now......if he claims his house has now been destroyed and his parents got killed, they would grant him asylum!

If he is persecuted by Christians in the north then he can move to East or South, claiming to be gay will fail just as other who tried that route failed.
who does he know in the south or east? that would be a breach of his human right if you ask him to move to a place he's never stayed before all his life. the brits know about nigeria more than you think! nigerian females in the uk are using the homosèxuality technicality to get their asylum! nigeria is one of the worst countries to be homoerotic - if he has a good lawyer, he would win!

If he live was in danger by the crisis in Nigeria then he would have claimed asylum at yrs ago when he arrived in the UK, i guess he came in legally and things did not work out and he visa ran out.
like the op said, he did not come here legally - his identity is not known by the home office! if he came into the country in 2004, it means he didn't fingerprint in lagos cos that system was not in place as at then! so this dude is flexible and can claim whatever - if i were him, i would back-date the year i arrived in the uk to 1997.....the home office would not have any proof that he hasn't been in the country since then!
Career › Re: Blue-collar Job In The UK Or White-collar Job In Nigeria? by coogar: 12:21am On Oct 21, 2012
deenee: No doubt there are Nigerians out there who make good money (to the glory of God I fall in this range) but the generalization here is hasty because it does not paint a true picture for those in the "dark".

This said, why don't we think of becoming "employers of labour" instead of falling in line "like machines in an assembly plant". It is amazing that in the organized private sector (apart from banks) indians, chinese and lebanese are the highest employers of labour in Nigeria. Yet the so called blue collar job that we can't do here in Nigeria is what a lot would gladly engage in abroad.
God bless Nigeria!
duh! that's because blue collar jobs pay more money abroad and command more respect abroad than in nigeria where the system worships academic certificates! money is the name of the game......

don't mind the geriatric dude - rio is a grown man - a father and a husband! he is old enough to wear or not wear any yeye t-shirt! the whole "kick it out" program is a joke
banning terry for just 4 games is a disgrace, he should be serving a 10-match ban at least!

Spartacus all the way..

it was gannicus that killed "the egyptian" - the fiercest fighter in the whole series. gannicus is supremely skilful....uses 2 blades and he's not scared of death!

and he is the only one that can rescue her from the bondage so every night he would sleep with her and pour one sacred oil on her private part for cleansing.. and all these happend when this girl was just 11 years old.

Ijebulogic: Ever so often, we humans get tested by incidents around us. Despite the anger and disgust most feel for the gruesome murder of the Uniport 4, it raises other moral questions.

Here is the scenario: Its 2am and you are asleep with you wife, new born child and aged mother-in-law. 4 Armed robbers are hacking away at your door screaming that you will be dead tonight if you dont open the door.

Assume you have a licenced shotgun in the house, Would you stand as a man and defend your family by killing all four? If no, what are your options? If Yes, how are you better than the ALUU killers? Its a moral dilemma. Comments please.
i have a right to defend my family and my home! if robbers hacked into my house at night, i would pump bullets into them! the comparison to aluu-4 is also a bit idiotic. aluu community should have just put those boys against the wall and fire shots at them, it would have been better that way than the barbaric torture and murder! if i catch robbers hacking into my house, i can only shoot at them, there's no way i would smash their heads with a plank and set them on fire! one can defend one's home in self defence without being barbaric!

I guess the THeN group who chose to help the Ubahs (sp) get back on their feet instead of snatching their child away from them and putting him to work, must have it wrong. And Ayomide, the little girl who was living with her grandma. . .it would have been better to take her away from granny right? Easier to get her own Pure water tray instead of equipping the grandma with resources to better care for her (Thank Goodness for the caliber of people we have in that organization)
stop citing isolated cases and using it like its the norm! the ubahs got help by a group, not an individual. stop mixing apple and oranges! the amount each member of the group contributed individually couldn't have done much for the ubahs - this is where the difference lies.....

Lmao! I give up! Y'all please carry on with the turning a child into a Housemaid to help her strategy! Oh heck, what does it matter anyway. . .nobody enforces it, so you are good.
it's better that way than to give her N1000 which she would soon exhaust and return back to square one. a child in my custody would get fed, clothed, housed and educated while i still put a monthly stipend in the pockets of her parents. people who hire young maids do not give them chores bigger than them - so the physically-tasking chores are totally off limits!
