Beaf: Dude, you hard a rough life indeed. So sad to hear.he needs anger management before counselling..... i dunno why people think going abroad presents you a money-growing tree at the backyard. the white people who go to naija work for their money...why should any nigerian go abroad without thinking of working for his money? life can be harsh abroad only if you want it to be harsh. study, acquire skills abroad and you are presented the same opportunity as the next man. study, acquire skills, study more in naija and you have less opportunties than the next half-literate tool connected to atiku abubakar or alhaji dangote. i know where i'd rather be. |
shymmex: When did you get off the boat?? That's what should be hysterical!i got off the boat few hours ago.... There are more black people in prison in the UK than America - if we go by the percentage they make up in the population, and the prison system.. Black people make up 3% of UK's population officially, but they're more than 20% of the prison population.. In America, black people make up 13% of the population, and 40% of the prison population.. Do the maths!!very untrue. the number of black people in prison as a proportion of the total population in the uk 7.3 in 1,000. the same statistics is 43 in 1000 in america. Free - yet university graduates don't know the difference between "your" and "you are" lol. Like education isn't free in America bar tertiary institution.. Even a cesspit like Nigeria has the same programme - so what's the fuss about??"you" and "your" factors are a general phenomenon. you would find it written in every english speaking country in the world. you are not making any point. every foreign university prefers international students to home students, duh! stop highlighting general problems that affect the 2 countries. look for distinctions - what makes one better than the other not telling me about unis preferring foreign students. even in nigerian unis, foreign students are preferred. How many of those football in the UK are educated America gives you an opportunity to make millionaires through sport - and get an education at the same time... You have to go through college to play professional sports in America.another hogwash! football clubs operate academies that are solely based on education. the footballing is less than 6 hrs per week before the age of 16. shymmex: Do you guys even know how many youths commit crime in the UK every winter - just to go to prison, and have shelter, and food??at least you got out.... in america, you would have been sent to life imprisonment for shop-lifting with their ridiculous long jail sentences. worse still, any rival gangs could have had you shot, police coulda given you the beat down or have you murdered, and the prison violence is even rife. abeg, the advantage america used to have has deteriorated and america is nothing short of a barbarian state! |
shymmex: Dude, stop comparing apples to oranges.. The welfare system in America isn't as profound as the UK..and what's the use of the big american houses? the occupants buy it before realizing furnishing it takes a fortune. the utility bills alone in those huge houses are $700 per month upwards. they buy big houses that are built to stand 15 yrs on a 50-year mortgage. little wonder, the personal debt of an average american is higher than what it was even during the great depression. to add insult to injury, working 18 hrs a day does not afford them the luxury of even enjoying what they are paying fortunes for. no matter how you look at it, america is Bleeped!!! health is wealth. a wealthy nation should have healthy citizens. america is nowhere healthy....they have the most severe psychological problems. with amount of shift they put in working, it's inevitable. nearly half of the population experience some form of mental illness or the other. during their lifetimes...they lead in all brands of mental problems. i won't even talk about obesity/heart problems. ![]() |
shymmex: UK is well built because of is size but that's superficial - UK is a poor country...hilarious. US is a country of dreamers, where opportunities are everywhere - heck they give scholarsips to college students, and America cares a lot about talents... You can be whatever you want to be in America, but there is glass ceiling in the UK, you can't go past if you're black...even worse in america. the black youths there are either shot dead or are languishing in jail cells. All those kids raised in ghetto America can still go to college on scholarships - and become millionaires if they play sport, music, or they're gifted.. But you can't get that in UK... UK slums look habitable, but some of the people living there are poorer than a village woman in Nigeria.... I know what poverty looks like in the UK... You need to grow in those council estates to know what I'm talking about.education is free in england bar teritary institution. why can't anyone poor in the uk go to school when they don't have to pay for it? there are scholarships in england. a lot of boys from the ghetto are making hundreds of thousands of pounds per week playing football. spare me the details....america is worse. too many people = less oppportunities. |
shymmex: I don't deal with superficial statistics, I deal with the real world... How many unemployed youths sign-on in the UK?? I have many friends who are employed (graduates) - but none of them sign-on because of the madness of having to stay on a queue with crackheads for some little peez they can make doing other things.. If you're raised in the UK, you would know there is REAL poverty out here...you don't wanna know the number of people in the states who are on welfare. nearly 50% of all the households in america receive one benefit or the other from their government. yes, they are that poor. |
shymmex: Why do a lot of people lead fake lives on NL?? Most of the clowns lead a different life in the real world - and fantasize on this glamorous life on cyberspace... US is the richest country in the world, no other country is close...richest country in the world without a doubt but with the vast majority spent on the defence/military. it's actually a disgrace that a country so rich has so many poor people on their hands. some ghettos of america make naija delta villages look like abu dhabi. |
shymmex: Lol @OPthe irony.... https://www.leftbusinessobserver.com/1-OECDPoverty.jpg |
frosbel: But the poor in England are not abandoned to a life of misery and everlasting penury.the poor in england are also not behind bars like in america. as of 2006, 7 million people were behind bars, probation or parole. 2.2 million of the total were incarcerated. china ranks 2nd with 1.5 million, never mind the fact that china has 4 times the population of america. it's perfectly legal for an american cop to murder an innocent citizen - just like in nigeria. heaven help you if you accidentally anger an american "peace" officer. the cops in england are not saints but they are nothing compared with the bullies with badges in america. america might be the only "developed" country who don't practise the human rights.....you can be labelled a terrorist in america without charge or legal council, stripped of your citizenship and sent to gitmo indefinitely. too unfortunate, the average american is too busy being a slave, too brain-washed by the media, too mindfucked by mercury and fluoride to even know it. https://www.leftbusinessobserver.com/2-OECDWork-hours.jpg |
Bro i just returned last from England at the end of April. I kid you not when i tell you that the incident with the bucket and bowl was in 2010. I was shocked to say the least. Please if you can, broaden your perspective and fly to other countries around Europe. You need no Visas and the low cost flights like Airberlin and Ryan Air are giving out tickets almost for free. Do it and you may start seeing the Island in a different light, trust me.
the people of the other countries in europe are in the uk airports right now trying to get into the accursed island. i have been to germany, france, switzerland, etc. they are no step above england apart from the beautiful infrastructures that hit your eyes..... they were all rebuilt. most of these countries suffered extensive damage during the 2nd world war. the comparison is the uk vs usa......not the uk vs germany. |
You know what i mean. How many hours in a day do you let your light bulb burn without becoming hysterical about electricity bill? Don't you people stay in the dark at night and use the TV Set to illuminate the room. I have witnessed in brixton at a lady's house where you take shower with a bucket and a bowl. Such a mess.
that means she's poor....pure plain n simple. using brixton as an example to judge the average brit is like using the ghettos of south central la to judge an average american. brixton is occupied by people in the lower rung of the ladder - poor people. so get your facts right. the light bulb in my house is put to maximum use, so is water. Ninilowo: English are workaholics with little time for pleasure except to watch soccer. their dinner parties are so brief and funny. You may be on you feet artying in the name of cocktail. eh? Imagine someone standing to parrty, tell me how would you have the chance to sit and consume?the irony.... in england, people live to work. in the states, people work to live. the only country where the vast majority work 16-18 hours per day. the average american has 3 jobs. that is illegal in the uk to start with. i have tasted both sides of the coin and i am afraid, america is shyte! america is a vacuum, hiding behind a thick layer of hollywood gloss that's incredibly superficial. |
Beaf: ^so why are nigerians poor if there's a lot to be made in nigeria? why does the average nigerian spend $2 a day? there's a lot of money to be made in nigeria when it comes to backdoor and shady contracts that are only accessible for 0.05% of the population.
Don't you people still ration electricity in 2012? lol.
you must have lived in a cave while in england. ration electricity in the united kingdom? of course we do.....we only get 6 hours electricity everyday for the past 5 yrs. ![]() |
pufectskin: @poster, u made statements but don't back up ur comments with any statistics or evidence.you will open a bank account on the day of your appointment to the bank in the uk. go to the bank with an identification document and a proof of address and the account would be opened. if it took you a week to open an account, then something was wrong with the documentation you presented. telecoms is wack in america.....i am bored n tired of american residents begging to call on a landphone instead of a mobile. whereas, calls from uk and europe to america attract the same price either on mobile or landphone. internet is nothing to write home about in america. don't even get me started with their transportation in america. |
frosbel: Thank you JOamerican residents love to delude themselves their country is better.....they are as far from other civilized countries as heaven to hell. at least if you are bored in england, germany, france, switzerland, etc is a travelling distance. america is bordered by mexico and canada(america minus guns)...and that's it. weather is actually crappier than england. summer is like iraq, winter is like canada. internet broadband/atms in the uk is also 2 tiers ahead of what you have in the continental usa. they are blaming their huge size on it. frosbel: NHS is not freenational insurance/taxation....he's looking at it from another angle. but even then, i still prefer it to needing to buy health insurance to receive treatment. in the usa, you have to constantly worry whether the insurance would pay for the treatment and whether you can afford the bills if the insurance company decides not to pay. |
England is not more developed than America. I also don't know in what sense it can be considered more stable. Despite being wealthier, the US also has a higher per capita GDP growth rate, if I'm not mistaken.
the same america where people pay for incoming calls is more developed than the united kingdom? america is a 3rd world country....quote me anywhere. one of the most useless countries to live in. health insurance of a family of 5 is about $2000 a month, health is free in the united kingdom(even for immigrants). american foods are crappy too....everything is over-sweetened. people don't walk as the place is too big. a city is like the whole northern region in nigeria. america is not kids-friendly. at least in england, kids get to play in the grass without having to worry about cobras, scorpions, gators, black widows and tarantulas. america = nigeria managed by white people(it's a 3rd world country). i would rather stay in zamfara! |
are you related to Iyalola19 a.k.a mamalola19? ![]() no offeinsce.#JustAsking
mamalola19 is hawtini can always see her mental masturbation from afar. she's by far the most idiotic female poster ever. |
what a goal by ashley young!!! |
StarBoard: For once I agree with coogar.anderson-worshipping? oliveira anderson? he's a beast....much better than eden hazard that we want to spend £32m to get..... get me yann m'vila and debosky's cousin(mapou yanga-mbiwa) and i am ready to challenge city next season. £32m can be saved to buy the remainder of the contract of scholes/giggs/owen/js park. |
pendo89 is secretly admiring the pics.... ![]() |
At the same time, You wouldn't expect us to be shopping in Waitrose any more as we simply cannot afford to compete financially against City or Chelsea. Also, Fergie was admitted in hospital last week for a night due to a nose bleed. David Whelan ( Wigan Chairman) has been opening his big mouth about everything possible and claims this coming season will be SAF's last.
with the high interest rate we pay to remove the glazer debt, this is the time to spend wisely. our biggest worry is failing to replace owen hargreaves. attacking wise, we are not bad at all. i trust valencia, young, nani, rooney, chicharito and welbeck to cause havoc.... adding eden hazard to the crew will not improve the defence...... |
