I said it here in the last match or so that Lamine needs to pass the ball to Kounde as he makes those overlapping runs because Kounde is quite good with cut back crosses. I'm glad Roony gave that pass to Kounde.

As for the second goal, that was a beautiful cross from Roony with his weaker right foot and an even more amazing volley from Ferran Torres

The truth is at the end of the day whether raphinha or rashford we all want what's best to the club but most of us believe raphinha contributes in more aspects to the team than rashford especially in terms of our intensity but we thank God rashford is gradually improving in that aspect for us

I agree with what you said about Rashford and Raphinha, and I don't think anything in the posts I've made so far suggest otherwise.

What I will not have is the so called fans being selective with their criticisms. If they're willing to call out Rashford for not chasing down opponents, then they should also be willing to call out Raphinha when he makes misplaced passes during multiple counter attacks and when he loses the ball which then leads to a goal like Athletico's goal today (correct me if I'm wrong on whether he was the one who lost the ball or not).

Just like Rashford needs to take lessons from Raphinha on how to press, Raphinha also needs to take lessons from Rashford on how to take advantage of our counter attacks.


There's a reason Rashford has a lot of assists. He definitely wouldn't have misplaced all those passes that Raphinha did during our counter attacks. Raphinha needs to work on his decision making in the final third.


Both players need to help each other become better.
