If you have a NECO certificate, use it to avoid stories. If not, I think the most logical thing next is to get a court affidavit claiming 96, even though they would suspect foul play coz it's too recent

As someone advised, go to another branch or another bank with an acceptable ID card and try.

I went to a bank to get my bvn slip, after printing I requested politely for the woman to stamp the slip for me to show that it's coming from a bank, this woman blatantly refused telling me they don't do that. went to a different bank the next day, they not only signed and stamped the bvn slip, they also printed it on their letter head.

And those that are not from KD and had taken the screening and interview, is there anyone that wasn't ask of his account number? I think answers to these can satisfy our curiosity.

Don't get this wrong please, interviewers ask awkward questions at times and most times they don't need the result but your reaction. I once heard someone was asked the color of the shirt he's putting on without looking back. Another case was the scenario where a man was asked the differences between vector and scalar quantities. Another was when someone was asked to loose his tie in their presence and knot it back himself. The first case was for admission purpose, second has to do with contract bidding worth millions of Naira almost 10years back.

So in this KDSG's case, they might want to test how you're good in cramming digits or they might want to establish a fact by correlating your response to either the essay you submitted or to sync it with your CBT assessment. You never can tell which is which, questions might arises from anywhere.

but in this case, the account number has nothing to do with the interview, when I was given the paper to write mine, they were all busy doing something else not caring whether I copied it from somewhere or not.

In addition, it's after concluding the interview i.e your credentials returned to you, questions answered, maybe even wished you success as some interviewers do and you're about leaving, that's when they'll give you the paper to fill.
