Very possible If you are ready to forfeit the already done semesters of the first admission and process the scholarship.. if you will be applying yourself for the scholarship,you won’t let it be obvious in your application that you are already in China.but I will advise if you want to do this,try to get a genuine agent in China that can help you process so you get it quickly.

I equally read somewhere on previous threads that if the person does well in his academics, he could have scholarship offers. If true, I guess that is another different medium to it.

How possible is it for someone to move from a self-sponsored Msc program, to scholarship when in China?

Hi all, So I got accepted into Fujian medical uni for MBBS for October this year. I had to pay the application fee and tuition deposit of 20% , all totalling 7800yuan to confirm acceptance. I am hoping to get scholarship on merit after first year (I have a degree in Human anatomy and I'm beleiving that would give me an edge). I am currently waiting to get the official admission package which includes the Jw202 form. I was however trying to prepare for the visa application before the package gets here so i came across the thread. I was first scared that people actually get denied..like oboy...ontop all the money wey i don spend?..God forbid lol..I am confused about the issue of authentication at MOFA Abuja, if it's actually neccessary..All my documents are notarized and I plan to go to the consulate in lagos as I'm based in the southwest. Firstly Shenyang is not a province, it’s a city in Liaoning province,, the capital of Liaoning, the biggest and the most popular city in Liaoning province..

Am very familiar with most universities in Shenyang,, Admission notice depends on
1. Time you process your admission
2. Through how you process. Either yourself or through accredited agent
3. What program and your admission type determines as well.

If you process quick you get it faster so you can have more time to process your visa.also your agent can solicit on your behalf to your intending school to help quicken to give you admission if they are sure of giving you admission. So also if you are applying for scholarship this can take some time before you get your admission due to the process and procedures.
Lastly each school have their policies and when to issue admissions,so if they delay then you have no other choice than to wait for them.
I process admission for some of my students to shenyang urban construction university,the school admission letter always takes me 3days to get and jw202 comes out later..
So speak to your intending school..

I tried checking out on such an agent specifically for Nigerians but honestly I couldn’t. Agents I did approach seems reluctant. I will on the coming days approach one of those trainees for first hand insights.

Siena applicants, I have info for you.

In the light of these delays we are getting from the Consulate, we should join forces and email the school. It's just to inform them that there has been unexpected delays from the embassy onto visa, and if they can remind the embassy that we students need be in Siena before 17th, so they hasten up the entire process for the Siena applicants.....

If the University can get the Consulate to prioritise our applications, it's gonna be good for us. Anything to get the visa in time mehn, anything. Let's all Siena peeps mail the school and tell them as explained above and also get other applicants to do likewise. At least, let the school be aware of what's going on.

You haven't legalised and done Preenrolment, how do you want the embassy to know you? Or your course doesn't require Preenrolment?? Would the embassy issue you the visa on the assumption that you would accept to study in the country?

Thanks a lot bro. What got me confused was the word 'attest' you used in place of 'authenticate'. I think the MOE and MFA by standard authenticates both originals and photocopies of all documents submitted to them.

yes one need to go with the pre-enrolment form if one is set for it. it is possible to legalize and pre -enroll same time but I couldn't because my school requires I pay my first instalment tuition fee before pre-enrolment and the first instalment fee for this academic session has not been decided by them.

What I mean by attest copy of your originals is this:
make a photocopy of your original documents.
attest the original documents and attest also the photocopy you have made from the original documents too at MOE and MFA. e.g photocopy your WAEC result. attest the photocopy and the original in MOE and MFA.
Or photocopy your NPC, attest both of them in MFA only since MOE can only attest academic documents.

I think you need to go with the prenrolement form as well. They didn't tell you that at the embassy?

my story.
I booked an appointment for legalization via phone two weeks ago, went on 21st Monday for legalization but was asked to present my receipt of payment at MFF but was not with it and also was asked to bring an attest copy of my original documents and attest photocopy of the originals too.
So I had to go back to Abuja again. I'm done with the attestation at Abuja now.
Called in for legalization yesterday was told I can't book via phone that I should use email. I did that and discovered the message wasn't bounding back and finally got an appointment reply today to come on Wednesday next week.

Take note of all I have said to avoid wasting time and money or stressing yourself for nothing. No one said such here I wouldn't have wasted time and money.

Please has anyone been booked for document submission at the embassy? Have anyone gone through the form for legalisation and seen the prenrolement form?
