Get a job, OP. Nobody is interested in such silly games. Either prove you're the real Anas09 by posting a screenshot of your ban notification or kindly mess off. |
jonbellion:There's something not quite right about the guy. |
KingEbukasBlog:STFU and Merry Christmas. |
hopefulLandlord:I'm dead... You killed me... You're a murderer now. |
4evergod3:How many alt accounts do you have? |
KingEbukasBlog:Let's see.. Forced connections - check. Mistranslations - check. You have to already have the preconceived notion that slavery is bad before you can twist the bible to affirm that. The very fact that people do this is exactly what subjective morality is all about. Nobody was making write-ups like this back in the 16th century. Even with that, the bible still deems it ok to own people and use them as servants who must obey or be beaten (almost to death). Not really helping your case. |
naijadeyhia:Even World War 1 and 2? |
KingEbukasBlog:But the influence of the 'Holy Spirit' tend to override the teachings of Christ now and then. Furthermore, it doesn't stop people from trying to deny basic rights to certain groups of people. In addition, the incompleteness of his teachings also seems to be a problem. Slavery for example, is one thing the bible failed to forbid, it wasn't until subjective morality caught up with the people that Christian ideology followed suit. |
naijadeyhia:You're still not really making much sense. How wasn't he expelled from the Freemasons if he was an atheist? From his Wikipedia: In May 1926, Calles was awarded a medal of merit from the head of Mexico's Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in recognition of his actions against the Catholic Church. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plutarco_El%C3%ADas_Calles?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C3658904575 So we can see that anti-Catholicism and anti-clericalism does not stop a person from being a Mason. Opposition of religion is not an exclusively atheistic position. I also don't see why a debate thread or Yahoo answers should be used as a source. They aren't all that reliable, especially when they don't cite sources. |
KingEbukasBlog:Every group perpetuates despicable acts. If we were to tally up the body count of every single theist who ever lived with that of every single atheist for whatever reason (motive is never a problem when atheists are involved, anyway), you probably won't like the results. You sound like a broken record. |
naijadeyhia:How could he have been a Freemason and an atheist? Answer the bloody question! |
Another horrid thread from a hateful Christian. This is the kind of thing that makes me feel that religion can be disadvantageous to us. Christians are quick to comment about the killer atheist when the article itself calls the man a Freemason. Belief in a deity is a requirement to even be accepted into the group. http://www.freemasons-freemasonry.com/atheism-freemasonry.html OP can't even fact-check. Disgusting! |
KingEbukasBlog:A deist can be a nihilist, Einstein. |
felixomor:Simple. We've witnessed species naturally diverge from each other. |
Fiyinfoluwa20:Honesty is the best policy in this matter. If you're not personally convinced to be a devout Christian, then you need to let her know that you can't change your stance. Even if you were to start going to church all the time and praying round the clock, would it be genuine or would it be to appease her? As far as I know, conviction is not a conscious choice. You can deceive yourself and put up a façade for others but you can't will yourself to be convinced. You should make your decision clear. You should be prepared for the worst, though. What would you do if she leaves you or gives you an ultimatum? You will need to be mentally and emotionally prepared for any outcome. |
jonbellion:He clearly said CUM and cleanse me. |
The image is too hi-res to show up well, so here's the link. http://www.smbc-comics.com/comic/2010-09-19 Edit: Put the correct link this time. |
KingEbukasBlog:Like the way you opened a thread to show good concrete evidence for progressive creationism? |
KingEbukasBlog:I've replied your post in the other thread with my closing statement. You can read that, and then still post a rebuttal just for the sake of it. I'm done for the day. |
KingEbukasBlog:Spammity spam! |
KingEbukasBlog:The 'exodus' he talks about in the article is radically different from the biblical account. So different that it is basically a caricature of what the Bible says. If it only involved the Levites who weren't even slaves then how is it the same exodus? Didn't my link already acknowledge similar but albeit smaller events? I fail to see how this helps your case. As a matter of fact, to accept this man's theory clearly shows that you believe the Bible is unreliable and full of embellishments. And so what if the source cited is eleven years old? Has any compelling evidence supporting the narrative come up since then? The fact remains that the story is fictional no matter how the JEWISH scholar tries to strip it down he is only confirming the point. Nobody ever said it couldn't have been influenced by actual events (like the Great Flood story) but the story as told in the Bible is a lie. And you just inadvertently confirmed it for me. Thanks! |
KingEbukasBlog:I should report this for breaking rule 8. You posted this link in another thread and ran away when it was refuted. It is clearly a biased Jewish site and now you're trying to pass it off as general scholarly consensus. All archaeological research has come up with no evidence of the story being true. Not even Egypt has anything to say about the cataclysmic event that befell them https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Exodus?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C7617813919 Pathetic showing from a notoriously intellectually dishonest individual. |
KingEbukasBlog:Yo! How goes the trolling? |
KingEbukasBlog:So this article circumvents the absence of evidence by telling us that the Bible isn't a reliable source of information, since it is contains the number of people who left Egypt. Unfortunately, the author failed to substantiate the story, explaining the reason for lack of evidence is not evidence in itself. But what am I to expect from a Jewish source? Objectivity? The fact stands that there is no way exodus could have happened without acknowledgment from Egypt. The economic consequences alone would have been ridiculous. What we do know, though is that Egypt was quite prosperous at that time. Further reading: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Exodus?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C8216544220 http://www.exitmundi.nl/bible/web-content/mos_exodus.html If the Exodus is fake then the Moses we know couldn't have existed. The law of Moses was the basis of Jesus' and Paul's teachings. If it is all based on a lie, what does this say about the Abrahamic religions? |
KingEbukasBlog:But the Exodus never happened. |
KingEbukasBlog:Why do you spam your threads all over the place? |
UyiIredia:Is there evidence for dualism? |
LeFreakSoChic:Well, people have different reactions to oppression. It would be safer for them to remain hidden but it won't help to effect any positive change. I don't know how long it would take for people to understand that their personal opinions have no bearing on fact. And the fact is that several societies have thrived with gays having equal rights. |
felixomor:They're really isn't any argument. This article shows that kids from non-religious families are statistically more altruistic than those from religious families. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/nov/06/religious-children-less-altruistic-secular-kids-study?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C6982262254 |
LeFreakSoChic:So you want people to hide because you don't like seeing them? I'm sorry, but that's not how human rights work. That's just like a racist white person saying he's ok with black people but they should cover their faces to hide their skin colour. That's just like a Muslim saying he's ok with Christians but they shouldn't hold bibles or carry rosaries in public. I know we've been mentally conditioned on this region to reject people who are different and you at least seem to be on the right track, but if we truly are free, then expression shouldn't be a problem whether you agree with such views or not. |
KingEbukasBlog:Yet you come on our threads to c.um on our threads. |
