DieRich5:The disrespect |
IMAliyu:This is giving me very strong early Yokota Takuma vibes. Well done! |
Okaeri Alice by Oshimi Shuzo AKA how I got jebaited into reading a yaoi manga So far, so good but knowing this mangaka, I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
|
Kaycee7:Based x Redpilled |
Baddestguyp:If I say the same about Naruto now... |
nani667:Madoka, Tanya, Tatsumaki, Tsuyu, and Kumoko. That's one helluva resume. |
Happy Mother's Day!!!

nani667:Bait

Kaycee7:Uhh... Crona? |
DieRich5:

IMAliyu:Now this is the good stuff |
IMAliyu:I have a friend with that name so it's kinda funny you ended up choosing it. Anyway, I'm petitioning to make Mildred the official anime thread mascot. |
IMAliyu:Some Victorian-era English name like Florence, Blanche, Gladys, Mildred, Harriet, etc Any British granny name would do. I'm biased towards Blanche since it means "white" and this character has a Gothic aesthetic |
Kaycee7:Chainsaw Man spinoff? |
Nova15:Probably the worst anime I've watched in my life. |
Just introduced my normie friend to Astolfo. He's not my friend anymore.... He's my brother. |
Hohenheim:Did you just refer to gigachad Koichi as Lil Polnareff? Good grief. |
Kaycee7:Hot take here but I firmly believe that characters are more important than writing and plot in the battle shonen genre. Characters are probably even more important than the action if you think about it. Another hot take incoming: Jujutsu Kaisen doesn't do enough to make me care about its characters (maybe except Maki) despite being one of the best shonens out there. |
Kaycee7:Despite her limited screentime, I liked Nanao's character arc. It was quite nice to see her finally get a chance to shine in the TYBW arc. MILD BLEACH SPOILERS She got to show her proficiency in Kidou. Also, it was also interesting to explore how Kyouraku's guilt over what happened with Lisa in the TBTP arc led to his overprotective attitude with Nanao. Which may have held her back as a fighter. Still though, they were able to overcome their character flaws and give each other much needed support when it really counted. |
Kaycee7:Gen Urobutcher, huh? Get ready to watch your favourite characters die |
Yuri tarded

tamdun:Lemme put this into perspective. Since, the Hunter x Hunter anime ended, Togashi has produced about 30-something chapters. Within that same timeframe, Tatsuki Fujimoto was written and completed both Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man. The chances are very low. Especially if Togashi gets another "injury" (ie: another Dragon Age sequel is released) |
Fun fact: We were originally going to get the first English release of Stardust Crusaders in 2003 but production was halted due to a scene where DIO was reading the Koran. |
IMAliyu:What are the odds? I just watched this back in January. I saw it used in a Digibro amv, so I decided to download. Pretty boring if you ask me, I couldn't even make our to the end. Also, the animation holding up to this day isn't that big a deal for a 2010s production. The fights were pretty fun though. |
nani667:28 but looks 20. |
Onani Master Kurosawa written by Ise Katsura and illustrated by Yokota Takuma. Affectionately known as "Fap Note", OMK follows the school life of Kurosawa. By day, Kurosawa broods by his window seat in class and ponders about just how much he is better than everyone else. However, every evening at the appointed time, he sneaks into the girls' toilet where he, well...becomes the onani master. Unfortunately for Kurosawa his streak comes to an end when he is caught by one of his female classmates. If the premise didn't scare you away then shall we continue? One day, when Kurosawa notices said female classmate getting bullied, he decides to point his cannon in the direction of justice (stole this line from Scamboli Reviews) and delivers sticky white judgment to the evildoers. This is where the references to Death Note start to abound. However, the classmate doesn't want to end it there, she wants to lash out at the rest of the world and their toxic partnership leads to a wave of biological terrorism (stole this from The Masked Man) that middle school has never seen before. Sometimes I feel like the Aku no Hana writer may have gotten an idea or two from this. Mind you, this isn't an ecchi. This is a cooming of age story. It tackles heavy subjects such as the effects of bullying, forming actual connections with others, learning from part mistakes, the real-world consequences of being a degenerate perv, and...romance? You'll come (heh!) For the laughs for but stay for the character development. If you end up enjoying it, consider checking out its tvtropes page. There, you can find links to its 10th anniversary update that shows the characters 10 years after the events of the manga. |
Rubxsky:Nani the f*ck? |
Kaycee7:Some people can definitely handle that. Left to me though, between work, study, and play one woman is enough. |
Kaycee7:How does one even manage a harem though? |
Rubxsky:That's basically the business model. Make trash isekai to farm money for more serious projects |
Kaycee7:But you're not the main character so no op powers |
