I'd give it a 9/10.

The mind games and twists remind me of death note.
I wasn't a fan of the art style, but I'd give it points for being unique.
I thought the characters would be one dimensional, but I was surprised with the development they got.
And further points for awesome Mecha battles.

Cigarette and Cherry

Intro
I stumbled upon this rom com while searching through MangaPark's library for new titles. It follows our main protagonist, a young virgin university freshman who tries and fails to impress his mysterious chain-smoking female senpai.
Although she sees right through his antics and identifies him as the "cherry boy" that he is, she takes a shine to his optimistic demeanor. They quickly become friends and continue to grow closer. Eventually, the MC gets a job at the coffee shop where senpai works.

The Good
-The MC is a young virgin and if you frequent this board, chances are that you are too. I enjoy watching him make an ass of himself, learn his lesson, then try something else.

-The coffee shop eventually gets a new addition who quickly becomes a love interest for senpai's cock-blocking coworker. His direct, albeit mildly autistic approach to romance is super refreshing in the romance genre.

-Senpai herself is self-assured and confident enough to justify the admiration she received from basically everyone.

-Cock-blocking coworker is a good foil to MC's antics, they may be belligerent but you just know that she is definitely rooting for MC.
-The coffee shop owner is the ultimate wingman.

The Bad
Our MC is such a crybaby idiot that I sometimes don't know how senpai tolerates him. To quote Gigguk, I take cringe damage watching him act up. Sometimes it really stretches my ability to suspend my disbelief.

Conclusion
This is a good one. If you like rom coms, give this a shot. Also, sorry for blanking out on everyone's name.

Definitely an 8.5 for me too. Interesting visuals, trippy colour palette, morally grey characters, insane action sequences, unpredictable plot, some good ol' sex 'n' violence, crude and vulgar humour. What more can a young weeb ask for?

I have another question. Why are people who are into anime obsessed with it, is it the animation style or the storylines?

It's a relatively niche form of entertainment so fans of it generally band together and talk about since that's the only thing bringing them together. I don't actually know anyone in Nigeria who's more obsessed with anime than football fans are obsessed with their favourite team.
