It's 7 weeks now after capturing in Ikoyi.
They said my passport is showing AA- affix approved meaning it's in production but when it'll be ready is what they don't know.
Someone even asked me to pay 10K as they're neglecting those who don't pay and producing only those that have paid. I'm tired of this country.

Guys,I have a big problem. I registered at Festac office but the day I registered,they said the printer was bad and I couldn't get the enrollment slip. And I would need it to get my passport, as it is,I applied since June. My aunt gave me a contact there and the man keeps saying it is still in production. I dunno what to do. And I stay so far away

Na the message wey NIS give me since 6th of this month and my insider still dey tell me say them never print am ,She still tell me today say na this night them go print am .

My gut told me to today,dropped my name and tracking number at collection point ,10 minutes never reach them call my name with my passport .

Just collected my passport at the Ikoyi office this afternoon .
Captured 10th of June and printed 4th of August (Renewal).
Insiders are not reliable ,knew it was ready when I sent my tracking number to NIS on Facebook and they updated me it has been ready since 4th of August while my insider was saying rubbish .

I have finally collected my passport today..
Paid online on 16th June.
Captured on 25the June..
DIY = no .( done by agent)
Command = owerri..
Passport was issued on 5,august


NIN is not compulsory in owerri.
Though I won't necessarily advice anyone to go to owerri command cos I was frustrated before I was able to capture..
And its not DIY friendly..

They are the most fraudulent and backward immigration command in Nigeria currently..
Every body should avoid ikoyi command..

If u are in Lagos either go to festac or alausa

Imagine some one that captured in April for renewal ..up till now the passport is not yet to be produced..

While in alausa or festac ..
It doesn't take up to 4weeks for renewal..

Omo I'm regretting going to this Ikoyi command.
Captured on June 16th through an agent.
This is already the 7th week, went there today cos the agent actually traveled to the north 4 Sallah so he said I should go and check 4 the passport since I'm in urgent need of it and can't wait 4 him to be back.
Went there today and they returned my slip with letter E written on it dat I should call my agent. Like I'm pissed right now. Asked the officer to explain what the E means cos the ones I've seen had AA written on theirs and he's sounding unfriendly dat I should go.

Hello everyone, my son did his capturing at Ikoyi command on the 14th of June but up till now, no response from their end. The agent keep saying the file is at affix and approve department, and we really need this passport for our Visa application. Hubby and I intend going there tomorrow, is it a good idea? And who can will make enquiry about the application from at the center? Because it’s obvious the agent doesn’t know what he is doing. Please I will appreciate any suggestions.

Ikoyi passport Office is the worst immigration command I have seen. I started this process on time for renewal with hope that passport will be out before it’s needed. I have exceeded 6 weeks for a passport renewal that should take 3 weeks yet not out and no information of when it will be ready. Yet, in same command people are collecting (those with strong connect). This is the reason why things cannot get better in this country. Is it possible to request for renewal from another command even with one awaiting production?
Where can one go and complain about this Ikoyi command please? I am already behind schedule.
