stanluiz:
Trump win because of racism and sexism.

His opponent was a coloured non white woman.

It has nothing to do with economy, security, debates, abortion etc all these factors are irrelevant.

Joe Biden will beat Trump whether he is good, bad, dementia or not. He will best Trump.

Why ? Because he is a white male candidate with years of experience in American politics.
Nonsense. How did Barack Obama win in 2008 and in 2012. He was even the first black US President and he did a double.
Also, had Biden been fielded, he would have had a poorer result than Kamala.
Democrat best bet would have been to field another candidate outside the Boden administration. But guess what, There was no presidential primaries in the party

You don't know what tiki taka means, you don't understand the tactics

Man City lost not cos they were bad, they were just unlucky and bou gk was massive
As if Bou didn't hit the post and the second ball which was open net kicked away by one of their unclinical players.
Check match stats before you comment.
Bournemouth outclassed City until closing stages
of the match and the scoreline reflected that.
Leave tiki taka. Efficiency is what matters.
Man of the match is also a Bournemouth Player. So they deserved their win

If you don't want government to be borrowing unnecessarily, then suggest another means of raising funds without taxing

Please save us the story of government should cut their excess , even if they do, it's not even up to 3% of the current budget
Even that 3% is a whole lot of money and will fix one big problem in the country. Add that 3% on agriculture and see the improvements we will have in food production.

When you borrow and borrow and borrow over decades and decades, the result is, you borrow a lot that you end up being a slave to the person you borrowed from

Because we have been running a useless economy since independence that is dependent on what raw materials we sell, not on what industrial goods we produce..(which is why the South korean won , despite being 1327 to one dollar is more valuable than our naira)...we have gotten into serious debt. Also, we have been paying subsides for a population that is too large for the revenue to sustain.

It is even a miracle we have survived

At the end of the day, we have reached the point where we cannot pay for goodies because we are in so much debt, we can't even continue paying for subsides and all the goodies...hence petrol now being N1000 and more.

At the end of the day, we can do the hard things....taxes, becoming an industrial economy, fighting all forms of corruption, or we can pretend we have money we don't have.

Shouting agbado at me won't change that fact. We are in deep shit. The end of petrol subsides is a result of what we have gotten ourselves into.
Agbadiot
Tell us if Tinubu has stopped borrowing
Tell us if Tinubu has started industrialising Nigeria. If so, tell us how many new industries he has brought to Nigeria vis-a-vis the ones that left.
Tell us if Tinubu is fighting corruption or he is even practicing it more.

the minimum wage of Saudi is not enough for them to survive, same way it's not enough to survive in Nigeria.

Minimum is not living wage.

Learn the difference.
You are a liar from the pit of hell. Check the link below to get the cost of food in Saudi arabia and compare with Nigeria.

https://www.amazon.sa/-/en/Rice-50-to-150-SAR/s?keywords=Rice&rh=n%3A16895377031%2Cp_36%3A17308975031&c=ts&ts_id=16895377031

Minimum wage in Saudi arabia can buy ten 50kg bags of rice while the Nigerian minimum wage can't even buy a bag of rice.

Bag of rice in Saudi is 350 SAR, Minimum wage 4000 SAR

Bag of rice in Nigeria is 90k Naira, minimum wage is 70k.

Shame on you!

But you should know President Tinubu spoke about this in 2019.

It was also what he based the tax laws in Lagos on.

We as a country want development, we want to grow but government earnings is very low. Which is why our National budget is ridiculous compared to other countries.

Government has to earn more the do more, but atleast in this case, the tax is not being increased, it is a matter of bringing in those who do not pay before to start paying. This isn't a burden on those already paying
Government asslicker. If they are faithful with the little they collected, people will be willing to pay more.
It's logical for you to pay 3k monthly for constant good water than paying 50 naira that you can't see what it's being used for.

Therefore, accountability with the little you get first before asking for more.

PoliticsRe: The North And The Lingering Restructuring Question - Tribune Editorial. by cornelman: 7:52am On Sep 24, 2024
For decades, the sing-song from the ACF and most Northern Nigerian leaders, with the exception of the Middle Belt, had always been that Nigeria does not need restructuring.

The North with the exception of Middle belt are the most tribalistic and bigoted people in west Africa. When other regions have been calling for restructuring since the time of Obasanjo, where were they? Calls for amending the 1999 constitution were made, but they stood firm against it because the constitution placed them at advantage over other regions.

Where were they during the 8 years of buhari when there was sharp decline in insecurity. They fought off every call for restructuring. Now that a non-Northerner is there, they quickly remembered restructuring is the way forward.

Let another northerner become president today and you see them fight those calling for restructuring to death.

ACF and all northern leaders are hypocritical and unserious elements and should never be taken serious. They are only interested in their pockets and in controlling their masses.
