Oya, mention the impactful policies o. Una go just open mouth, WA! and talk vaguely. No head, no tail. trutharena: |
sIfioksq:The same time that was given to Buhari for 8 years? APC guys spotted. They forget that the people suffering now are not going to live forever. |
But just yesterday, Minister Bagudu was saying the money obtained from fuel subsidy removal is what NNPCL is using to pay subsidy. So, technically, there is still fuel subsidy according to him. Please, who is deceiving who? Some of you are very far from seat of power but talk as if you make decisions together and you understand what they are doing up there. As it stands today, there is no clear accountability of the money obtained from subsidy removal. So you can clearly say it is beneficial for the masses. Nvestor02: |
Just as they were used in 2023 to vote in APC. You just need to deal with this or do you want to send them back to homes that do not exist? Your allies, the APC, the boko haram and bandits have stolen their homes from them. After all, you did all that so that they will be easily controlled. Nonsense APC people. trutharena: |
First and foremost, it's like you have now agreed that your Tinubu and APC have failed. Secondly, you have agreed that they should be held accountable for the state of hunger in the land. Your error is that you didn't state another constitutional way asides protests to hold leaders accountable. You only asked people to find an alternative that you yourself don't know. Name an alternative effective strategy that the people can use to communicate their grievances. People like you just babble saying a lot without saying anything. Chinkoalhaji34: |
Salewa97:What solution have you enacted on your own side. You just sit in one corner to type political gibberish to sound intelligent but you actually don't understand how governance works. I am very sure you don't understand the difference between politicking and governance. Even you as you are, dem born you well to go meet Mr President say the policies dey affect you? Only sane people knows that protesting in numbers does not mean people hate the government but they want their voices to be heard which can not be done individually. So understand why people protest instead of derailing people's effort to make their voices heard. |
Salewa97:Try to make sense of what you wrote up there. You just a partisan fanatic who has no mind of objective reasoning. All you do is support APC whether good or bad. Always choosing loyalty over honesty. There's no place for people who are have reduced their citizenry to being party loyalists in the future of this country. Patriots are loyal to their country. They place country over politics and party. Only thieves and slaves are loyal to their parties and their rulers. |
Chinkoalhaji34:People staying off work looks like jokes to you? Hindrance to economic activity looks like joke to you? Are we supposed to get to the point where companies will tell their staffs not to come to work? The way some Nigerians reason is really sickening. |
Bros, you get sense jare. Many of those governments asslickers don't understand simple things. They just support government policies without understanding anything. Sincerely, I have gone to work at a place in Lagos like that, possibly a palliative store. That day, it was the same place APC was having their party meeting. If you see the the number of bags of rice and other foodstuffs there, at least 5000 bags. And entrance is strictly with party ID card. I am sure even this one they are pushing out will be to their party secretariats. Nothing for common man. Beremx: |
Chinkoalhaji34:But you were opposing the idea of the protest before nah. Some of you are without ideals. You just flow with anything. |
So how do you keep the pressure on the government to deliver? Most of you guys just talk as if you understand the dynamics of this country. You know nada. You ain't civil neither are you patriotic. Most of you guys are partisan lads. Have you asked how the government plans to make 40k rice available to all Nigerians? Do the government have enough grains to go round? What concrete step have they taken in the right direction to address the concerns raised by the people except their futuristic words of promise? Please, always try to answer questions like these before you begin to write big grammars here with shallow thoughts. Salewa97: |
Mumu wicked souls. Don't they think before they act? Well, this that keyamo has done is just an infinitesimal fraction of the problem. Nobody understands nor cares to understand what you have done until the deadly hunger in the land recedes. |
Instead of playing down protests by hungry people, suggest the "real solutions" hunger requires to the protesters and what they must do to arrest hunger. If you can't itemize the solutions, it is likely you'll be a paid agent. So, just keep quiet. Chinkoalhaji34: |
Thundafireseun:Dull people thin that the governor controls the police, the army and other armed security apparatus. It's like some people think boko and bandit guys use traditional ammunitions to operate. Well, governors do not need security votes since they do not have the constitutional power to provide security. Also, Tinubu and Shettima are useless. They have all the power to solve insecurity problems but they look the other way for personal profits. Open combat against terrorist boko and bandits will always fail because of the nature of the war and all the military leaders know this. If they don't know, then they are fools. What if they infiltrate the terrorist apparatus just as the terrorists did to the army. Flow with the tide, understand their ways, penetrate and then eat them up like cancer. This can only be achieved when the FG is serious about security. Not the useless mofos who are interested in stuffing up their pockets with public tax. Peace |
Now, you thought you've made sense right? In case of next time, always think before you write anything to the public space. Kobojunkiee: |
I think democracy in Nigeria ended with Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. |
helinues:Really? This shows you no nothing about governance. So why does the constitution give people the right to vote? To enrich politicians or to just have the feeling of having a president or governor over you? Is it for jamboree or satisfy cravings like when your football club win the trophy? I thought you're knowledgeable about governance. It's like this guy doesn't understand what they call authority. Not even the great MKO survived the wield of power. How much more common men. Let me make it simple for you: A government has the power to make policies that can enrich or impoverish the citizens no matter how hard they work. If you're still in doubt, go and read about North Korea. |
DevilsEqual:That was why you were thought passage summary in English Studies and wrote it in WAEC. The summary of her long epistle is that the ONLY achievement Tinubu and his cronies can point to after a year is that they won the presidential election. It's that simple. English language is not hard. |
RodgersAkpafu:Nah you dey mind am |
helinues:Tell us. How many? The last one they went in Dubai, how many real technocrats were there? Were they not mainly politicians that you support? We know how your APC government operate. |
badoh:Nonsense is what you've just said. He should leave the country as if he's a stranger here? He's got every right to be here just as any citizen. Nobody should leave for anybody. Nigeria is our common right. Why do you think coups happen? I am beginning to think the military guys have liberal mind than many of you. They simply kill you when they see you want to make life unbearable for THEM (Not necessarily the masses). With the state of this country now, Every man has got the right to fight for himself anyhow he feels best for him. Nobody cares about anybody. Why should he care what's happens to anybody? Slave mentality dey worry you. |
Even me, I have always doubted Cardiso from day one. It is well with Nigeria o |
If Tinubu is the best of them, then Nigeria is doomed. Are these the materials we are going to be fielding for presidential elections? If the best candidate - Tinubu who has now failed extremely woeful without any element of success, what is then left for the country? If it is as this man says it, then, it means a Nigerian can not govern this country well and thus, the country should be returned back to the colonial masters |
And some riggers will not have the boldness to tell others to go to court if they are not satisfied with inec declaration. |
Nonsense government |
CannibalTorment:Level 8 is a university Graduate. What can 140k do for a secondary school holder |
theophorus:25mins dem don whip Una 10-0. Abeg you wan play for the remaining 65 mins. The best you can do is to pray say make e no pass 15-0 at full time. This government is dealing with people seriously and do not intend to slow down just yet with their calamitous policies. |
muhammaduyusufu:Even at that, dangote procuring crude oil from another country is our loss in FX and revenue. What if he buys from Nigeria, refine and sell to Nigeria and export the excess. Imagine what that would have done to our FX. Importation of all the things we need especially those we can produce locally has been our greatest undoing as a nation. Our economy is not that buoyant to follow after the patterns of the developed countries. We should be following all these developing Asian countries- Singapore, Malaysia etc. Even Vietnam has started manufacturing and exportation to Africa. These are examples for us. A baby has to crawl first before running. This country needs a better economic strategy. The one we have is pure nonsense. |
Quintessence44:I don't agree with that your economic view of Nigeria because it is wrong owing to your fallacy of generalisation. Lagos made so much money from tax because people make so much money in Lagos. Many of us moved down to Lagos to make more money and it is fair for the government to tax the money we make. More than 80 percent of big companies in Nigeria operate from Lagos. Productions, shipping, banking, startups all take place in Lagos. Tell me 6 other states in Nigeria that can boast of economic activities like this. How do you tax an economy that does not generate money? Abi you wan dey tax beggar? Simply put, the larger and potent your economy, the higher the potential for tax generation. More than 30 states in Nigeria are just civil servant states. I mean civil servants with minimum wage of 30k, petty traders and subsistence farmers are the major economic drivers of the states. |
Proudlyngwa:You will know the answer when they go on strike. |
Let's hope the government can follow through on this and not make it an audio project as usual. It will go a long way in enforcing billing integrity on discos and push discos to identify points of energy theft. But also, tariff of other bands are likely to increase if all customers are metered. However, the most important thing is to make electricity supply available for businesses and people. |
