News have been making rounds as regards the gift bestowed upon the coach and captain of the Super eagles for attaining the 'bronze feat'. It was observed that the Sports Minister who had perfectly been behind the scenes the entire time, suddenly surfaces on the media to take pictures with the foreign billionaire while smiling uncontrollably at the cheque being presented to coach Siasia and captain Mikel Obi.

An internal source revealed that there were some deliberations as regards remitting the gift to the Treasury Single Account or using the sum to fund the next olympic trip. As anyone would guess, this information did not go down well with coach Siasia and captain Mikel Obi. Team mates however disclosed that the duo had been noticed to keeping aloof and steering clear off the entire team after receiving the $390,000 gift.

Reliable sources have however confirmed the disappearance of coach Samson Siasia and captain Mikel Obi who are both suspected to have disappeared via a private jet that was hired by Mikel Obi's personal assistant. In a bid to avoid being short changed sequel to inadequate ticket booking on its flight, Dana Airline deliberately made a repugnant decision to delay it's passengers for over 10hrs with the expectation of securing more bookings for the empty seats. Several businessmen had to cancel their appointment due to this and the hotline dedicated to customer complaints decided to ignore several calls put through to them. The airline however, could not give any substantial reason to cover up their ridiculous practice hence they resorted to saying their plane developed technical faults after some passengers nearly beat up a protocol officer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja. The pilot of the aforementioned plane could not synch up with the facade dished out by the airline before going ahead to say the delay was due to bad weather.
