The Security of the Corp members is the first aim of the NYSC management and whenever anything shows as a threat, NYSC always suspends orientation camp in such state till further notice. Below is the message from the official NYSC to Corp Members.

ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS DEPLOYED TO KADUNA STATE

The Management of National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform all 2018 Batch 'C' prospective Corps Members deployed to Kaduna State that the commencement of the Orientation Course earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 23rd October, 2018 has been suspended till further notice due to the current security situation and consequent curfew imposed by the State Government.

All affected prospective Corps Members are advised to remain at home until further notice from the NYSC Management.

However, all other prospective Corps Members deployed to other States and FCT are to report at the various orientation camps on Tuesday, 23rd October, 2018 as scheduled.

All inconveniences are regretted.

2017 BATCH "B" STREAM ONE PASSING-OUT

The Management has approved
Thursday, 18th October 2018, as the passing-out date for the 2017 Batch "B" Stream One Corps Members from National Service.

The nationwide exercise would be low-keyed while certificates of National Service are to be distributed to deserving Corps Members at the Local Government level.

Corps Employers are hereby requested to release passing-out Corps Members to participate in all necessary activities that precedes the exercise like, Job awareness and creation week, sensitization on job creation/opportunities after service, signing of final clearance, debriefing among others.

Management is using this medium to commend the passing-out Corps Members for their patriotism, selfless services and upholding the ideals of the NYSC Scheme.

The normal or abnormal news we always hear is that a Male Corper is running after a female student.
