A poliomyelitis victim known as Timi has taken to his twitter handle, @Paco_jayzee to share his heart breaking story of his journey and survival with polio. According to his tweet, he became a victim of polio at the age of 3, right from then his parents has been his means of survival. Unfortunately, he lost his father along the line, he had to strive to be what is father wanted if he was alive. After 6years of struggling to gain admission, he finally gained admission to Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro where he studied Computer science. Upon graduation, he proceeded to the NYSC scheme which he just concluded. He revealed that depression and thought of suicide has creeped in as he collected his last allawee as he has no way of surviving and he doesn't want to be a beggar. So he took to his handle to seek help as he is in dire need of a job.

Am a poliomyelitis victim.
Yes, I am but I survived
Being physically challenged at the age of 3 has not been easy but Gods grace has been sufficient.
At age 3 my life changed when I was diagnosed with poliomyelitis, my Father was an average Nigerian who struggle to make ends meet for his family, he and my mom tried all they could medically and spiritually but faced a lot of limitations.
My father upon being helpless made a decision that even if I can't walk again with my legs I will get a good and better life like everyone who can walk with their legs.
He took upon himself that he will give me the best education that I deserve.
Being unable to walk with my two legs without the help of my crutches has been really really painful, seeing your pairs engage in the sport you like most and the only thing you can do is watch.
Depression comes in but Daddy and mummy was always there to cheer me up
During my secondary school days we had an inter-house sport,I couldn't wear my sport wear because I was shy & ashamed of myself but Daddy was there to encourage me.After secondary school I lost my Dad.
it downed on me that I had to pull myself together and be the man my father wants to be the man my father wants me to be.
No financial help to continue schooling and all the schools I had in my didn't admit me, I had to wait for good 6 years before I finally gained admission into federal polytechnic ilaro,in Ogun state where I had my National Diploma (ND) and Higher National
Diploma(HND) both Computer Science
Today I finished my NYSC program, I should be happy, that I accomplished my dream and my father's but I must tell you am really depressed and suicide thought have began to set in after I collected my last allowee.
I ask myself "TIMI WHAT NEXT" because no more allowee means no food on the table and going back to be a beggar that most polio victims are is not what I want for my life or plan to do after going through the pain of educating myself. I don't want to die neither do I want to beg

A Nigerian atheist and creative writer has taken to facebook to celebrate the death of his father. He couldn't be more happier about the news of his father demise. It seems he can't get over all the terrible things his father did to him while growing up. He can't wait to showcase his happiness on his Burial day.

Phew! I heard a wonderful news today. I think my father is dead.
All I want to do if I ever grabbed a mic at his funeral is to list all the terrible things he did and said about his relatives. I'd also want to promote my revealing book on growing up with a Nigerian psychopath in an alien land with no familiar faces or features, I remember how it felt to be brutally injured in my first experience of northern harmattan. Injury during harmattan is the most painful but then there is the other one which has kept up with me till this day - the emotional scars are more like sores that keep tearing itself apart, banishing the superficial cicatrix and oozing crimson sorrow that nowadays taste like ferrous delight.
Ah well, I hope he saved for his funeral because I don't think anyone would want to bury that man, the only man that has successfully pissed everyone off in the world.
I am however glad that through his actions my life radically changed and I know now not to treat others badly, I rather be sincere than treacherous, I rather say I don't like a person to their face than hurt them from behind the curtains.
Through my travails and childhood trauma I want to thank god all mighty donkey-ass for not showing up, if my childhood was sweet, perhaps I'd never have reason to question faith and beliefs and love and marriage and having biological children.
I don't want marriage, don't want children, and I want to save for my own funeral which would be a Muslim funeral - wrap me up in white cloth as black would be too spooky, throw the cadaver in a shallow grave not 6 feet but 3, plant N350 mango seedling there so I know at least I was useful one last time to the wild birds of the forest and occasionally a firm branch for a stray person to hang from.
I also want to give away any money I make professionally to charity that would help increase literacy in young girls so they have the power to tell their own stories.
I may have my own opinion of my father, it doesn't mean others shouldn't have a different opinion of the man but I strongly believe he is the only person that would die to exorbitant jubilee and champagne pops.

A Nigerian pastor identify as Godfrey Emeghalu Godfrey on Facebook, took to his timeline to make a post about women circumcision and promiscuity. According to his post, he said it was because of women act of Lasciviousness and promiscuity that made them get circumcised, he said it helps control women excessive heat. He further state that it is wrong for the society to encourage divorce and at the same time fight female circumcision.
