Had a fight in ss2 by standing up to a perfect who was a bully and slapped our mate 10times just to impress the ladies in the class. Note, we were the first set and I joined the school same ss2 first term.

I told the teacher in charge of discipline I won't be beaten for standing up to a bully. Matter reach principal side, my mum was invited, mum stood by me that she won't correct me for doing the right thing and it's the guy who assaulted the other classmates that should be behind bars. Mum said correcting me is confusing me and she won't grow a timid boy who will see abuse as a norm. The vp supported my mum but the fact I said it openly both in the staff room and general assembly stained the teachers ego. Las Las they twisted the case that I'm not been beaten for standing up to a bully, but for fighting in the school as there were other ways I could stand up to the bully guy.
