It's there to reduce the twisting modes of the bridge. I remember one time I dropped a friend off at Anthony under bridge, he wanted to climb the hill to access the express so I moved in to drop him off. As he came down and left, one rugged tout started running towards me, I wanted to zoom off then I noticed he carried a very big stone, I just stopped and gave him N500 yes you heard me right. Five hundred naira which he collected and walked away. Imagine if I had stubbornly tried to zoom off and he had shattered my windshield, it would have cost me up to 200k to replace it. But I applied wisdom and paid just 500 and left peacefully.

We should learn how to apply wisdom. Everything shouldn't be about aggression cos these touts have nothing to lose. I've seen them pull down a conductor from a moving bus. They're ready to fight and die. So dragging with them isn't a wise option.
