Corrections:
In today's world, many people are not at peace with themselves. They are always running in a vicious cycle (from pillar to post, running into one form of trouble or another). Many are sad, bitter, and battered because of past events. We want quick, ungodly solutions to our challenges, but these attitudes only make us live and leave in haste, putting unnecessary pressure on ourselves.

Irrespective of the challenge you find yourself in right now, refuse to mourn your situation; instead, break into shouts of joy over your ruins, knowing that the Lord our God will rescue and comfort you and all the world will see it.

Isaiah 52:8
Let the ruins of Jerusalem break into joyous song, for the Lord has comforted his people; he has redeemed his people.

In order not to live in haste, we have to put our regrets (mistakes or sins) in the past (they are unclean for us) and move towards the future.

Isaiah 52:11
......Put Babylon and all it represents behind you; they are unclean to you. You are the holy people of the Lord. Purify yourselves, all you people who carry home the vessels of the Lord.

God had promised to help us out of our Egypt or Babylon like he did to the Israelites in the days of old when we surrendered to him, trusting him to do so. He promised that we would not leave in haste, running for our lives, for God would go ahead of you and protect you from behind.

Isaiah 52:12
You shall not leave in haste, running for your lives; for the Lord will go ahead of you, and he, the God of Israel, will protect you from behind.

Corrections:
The male cub of a LION will NEVER grow up to become a donkey. Never!! When a PRINCE shows up at an event with all his father's support and authority to represent him, NO ONE at the event would dare disrespect or deny such PRINCE the respect or recognition they would Accord his father "the KING."God, the creator of heaven and Earth, rules over all that he creates. He gives out his orders and no one anywhere can reverse them.

Isaiah 14:27

The LORD of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?”

He gave his order that the sun and the moon should keep shining out their lights till the end of time. Who has been able to reverse this order by God given to the moon and the sun?

When God chooses to bless or reward his people, who can curse them? Or vice versa? God's authority can never be challenged by anything or anyone? It pleased God to favour Joseph to become the prime minister of Egypt even though he had no credentials to occupy the position. Yet no one could challenge him.

It pleased him (God ) to declare Abraham his friend. It doesn't matter the opinion or questions of people ( like does God need a friend? ) about his declaration, Abraham still remains a friend to God.

Isaiah 41:8
“ But you, Israel, are My servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
The descendants of Abraham, My friend.

James 2:23
And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.'And he was called the friend of God.

When God speaks, people's logical questions or opinions systematically become outdated. Questions like " does God need a friend to be happy?" "How can Abraham be God's friend when he has not seen God?" do not, in anyway, concern or compare with God's knowledge, because what he ( God ) can not do does not exist. No human logical thinking can be compared with that of God. Never!! If God says you are blind, just know that indeed you are blind irrespective of tones of images your eyes see physically every day .

Isaiah 55:8-11

8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.[/b]

Now in the same light, this same God was pleased to reward and declare JESUS his beloved SON. Now know this and have peace that irrespective of logical questions people may ask no one can reverse it. Hear this, if God can declare human being ( an ordinary flesh ) his people in Hosea 2:23, is it Jesus Christ whose birthday ( his mother got pregnant without her husbands sperm in her ) and death ( came back to live after practically dying for 3 day) are mysteriously strange ( the first and the last of it kind combined the world would ever withness till end of time ) that God can't declare his BELOVED SON?

Here in the verse, Jesus is declared by God to be his Son.

Mark 1:11, NIV: And a voice came from heaven: 'You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.

Mark 9:7, ESV: And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.”

Just like how a king would relinquish power to his loyal prince so also has God ( his father ) given him ( Jesus Christ the prince ) extra ordinary power to rule over all that he ( God the Father ) has created both on Earth and in heaven.


Ephesians 1:21-22
Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world, but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church.[/b]

Also, God his father ( the king ) has given him ( Jesus Christ the prince) power to be the [b]medium or platform [/b]through which people can get to heaven to live with God his father for ever.


John14:6
Jesus told him ' I am the way-
Yes, and the truth and life. No one can GET to the father (GOD the king)
except by means of me ( JESUS Christ the prince ).

Let not your heart be troubled. You have trust in God ( the king ) now trust in me ( JESUS Christ the prince ).

Anyone that hates me ( JESUS the prince ) hates my father (GOD the king)

Christians are happy people who are always thankful (grateful ) to God. Scientific evidence suggests that being happy has major benefits for your health. A vast scientific literature has detailed how negative emotions harm the body. Serious, sustained stress or fear can alter biological systems in a way that, over time, adds up to “wear and tear” and, eventually, illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Chronic anger and anxiety can disrupt cardiac function by changing the heart’s electrical stability, hastening atherosclerosis, and increasing systemic inflammation.

God's words are always green and they can never fade away from one generation to another. God's Word is like water that falls to the ground, it will surely accomplish its task (softening the ground ) before returning to where it came from ( the atmosphere).

Matt. 24:35
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” It is also found in Isaiah 40:8

Therefore, all of God's words are not ordinary, they have a task or purpose to perform in a man's life. Those who listen to them will live.

John 5:25
“And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.

Now, the Bible, which contains the word of God, says in the book of 1thessalonians 5:18 ''it says that we should thank God always.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT
“In everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. ”

It is now clearer that the reason why God is giving this command is for our own good. It is evident that sickness has easy access into a man's life that is full of hopelessness. Hopelessness is a feeling or state of despair; lack of hope ( you can not help yourself and nobody can help you ). When you give thanks to God for your challenges, you are simply saying there is hope for you. You are simply saying that there is a supreme being ( God ) who is stronger than you and your challenge and can therefore help you where you can not help yourself. When you have this reality of hope, you become happy emotionally and hopeful. The good news is that when you are happy and hopeful, God through the power of his word, heals your wound and fortifies your body against sickness.

Romans 15:13
I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. And may the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.

The mission of the devil is to steal, destroy and kill. The devil steals from people. What the Devil can not steal, it simply kills it, and what it can not kill then it destroys. The devil achieves this easily by fighting your ability to be thankful to God ( appreciative ) thereby creating a scenario where it is all about yourself fighting the Devil alone ( a battle you can not win ). The Devil fights and over powers you to a point that you can not help yourself, let alone anybody helping you ( become hopeless ).

It is therefore, very important for the Children of God through our Lord Jesus Christ or Christians to always express their gratitude to God for all He has done, He is doing and will still do. When we do this, we acknowledge that God is our hope, because God is stronger than us and our adversary, the Devil. This enables God to give us hope and happiness, which in return heal our wounds and fortify us against sickness.

Corrections:
Depression is not domiciled in some races, countries, tribes or continents, rather it's a global thing. Depression does not know the rich nor the poor, it does not know the beautiful nor the ugly, rather it overwhelmes those who can't resist it's forces.

The forces (reasons) of depression vary from one person to another. However, it can be summarized that forces of depression come when we are either being added to or subtracted from.

To some, depression sets in when they (human) are being added to with something e.g when one engages in new bad habits (being added to) that he or she is not proud of. The new ''negative habit'' that he/she can not control is the burden of depression ( helplessness ) upon his/her life. On the other hand, some experience depression ( helplessness ) when something is being subtracted from them. Take for example, when some lose their loved ones they become depressed (helpless or hopeless).

WHAT TO DO WHEN DEPRESSED ( HELPLESS OR HOPELESS ) ?

* Genuinely Confess and repent of your sin and follow God in a time of depression. This will help you draw God to your side to help you incase it came as a result of sin.

* Begin to proclaim the good promises of God to you from his words. Focus on these good promises of God for you.WHY?

Proverbs 4:23
Be careful how you think. Your life is shaped by your thoughts.

Hebrew 4:12
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
