HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 12:30pm On Mar 20, 2020
This is time for Nigerian doctors to sensitize the public like they do when they are all over the Cyber space pressing demands for salary increase or fighting other health care workers. See I can't even believe that no doctor is yet to educate Nigerians except for a Nigerian Nurse on IG. I see other country doctors educating their people but you see not a single Nigerian Doctor has assisted in this regard. When it is time to make demands from government, you will see all doctors and even medical students all over the Cyber space to educate Nigerians.
Iyiataata92:
Why then are you insulting them already. Have they put any foot wrong. Why would you think that they won't be as brave as their foreign conterparts?
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 12:20pm On Mar 20, 2020
Take this time to educate the public. Lol you really trying hard to deny your profession. It is a noble profession be proud of it.
brainhgeek:
I was about exchanging words with you but I am concluding that you have bad luck at thinking rationally. I can submit that you have a disorder called 'medicophobia'. Take it or leave it, I am not a medical professional but would have loved to be one. A selfless Nigerian doctor recently saved my wife and son when American doctors gave a disheartening verdict.
For the last time, time, locate the doctors who messed up your life and stop reasoning through the anus.

See who is telling me about Dr Stella AA. SMH may her soul rest in peace. She is indeed a great doctor, likewise Dr Ohieri who I believe is alive. See you must not be on the frontline to make an impact. Even doctors on strike can make an impact if they want. How? Sensitize the public on the pandemic on social platforms just like you do when you want to demand salary increase or fight other health care professionals. That's all.
Iyiataata92:
Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh is a Nigerian doctor. She lost her life while treating an ebola patient. May her soul rest in peace
I don't want to insult you but educate you. Hard time bring out the genius in people. You never knew the Igbos could produce bombs and guns until the civil started.
don't insult me again
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 11:10am On Mar 20, 2020
You waited till there was a pandemic before going on strike. Please Goan sit down. You have got no passion. Do you also need salaries too to create awareness on the pandemic on social platforms? You only create awareness everywhere when you need something from the government. See gerrout. Go on IG you will even see some Ghanaian doctors educating their citizens but here no even a single Nigerian Doctor has done any, except for a Nigerian Nurse on IG.
Susily:
Pressure your government to pay salaries. You can never hear abroad that people( doctor inclusive) are being owed salaries.

These people are well taken care of by their government so they work wholeheartedly

No one including you (and doctors) will put in his/her best at work if owed salary....we all have important things to do with money ( including doctors)

So we all should pressure the government to pay salaries to motivate everyone to put in his/ her very best in this trying times

God help us all
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 11:05am On Mar 20, 2020
If you don't understand want I mean then sorry.
Susily:
You said they FIGHT for SALARIES. Does that sound normal to you?

Have you ever heard that people "fight for SALARIES" in the saner climes??

If government is doing it's job of paying salaries as at when due, these things won't be happening

It's quite unfortunate we have terrible leaders that don't care about it's citizens
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 10:48am On Mar 20, 2020
I hear you, they educate people offline on the pandemic but fight for salaries both offline and online. You are one of them. Don't mention me again.
brainhgeek:
I don't know why you are pained. For the mention, I AM NEITHER A DOCTOR NOR A NURSE. I have however seen and been around those who till date carry the scars of the battles they fought and are still fighting. They don't have to carry placards or go on social media to announce their pains. You probably have to invest a day in the life of a doctor in Nigeria to know their struggles.
Whatever your bitterness toward medical practitioners are, locate the ones who messed you up and stop this social media stupidity.

See this one saying rubbish. That is why you guys never do well, all seeking for accolades. So this is a reason for being dormant in the face of this pandemic. I always said Nigerian doctors are now politicians, always waiting to be praised. Yoi lack passion for the profession. Your defence is too weak.
brainhgeek:
Most of them do this on a regular.
Ebola, Lassa fever, bird flu, monkey pox....they fought some hard, uncelebrated, unappreciated battles in the past and are still standing against COVID-19.
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:53am On Mar 20, 2020
Nigerian Doctors are cowards and useless, They are not part of these global doctors.
cRobo:
Are u aware that Nigeria doctors are on strike the moment the coronavirus news escalated?
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:50am On Mar 20, 2020
Sorry but soldiers are the bravest. Kudos to all health workers around the world, except for Nigeria
salford1:
All frontline, emergency and essential services workers.
E.g nurses, care aids, nursing assistants, lab techs, cleaners, Pharmacists, grocery cashiers, doctors, firemen, law enforcements, utility workers etc
In developed countries, these set of workers are out everyday to work despite the lockdown. They all work together as a team to combat the covid 19.
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:48am On Mar 20, 2020
Are Nigerian doctors inclusive? Hell no they fighting for salaries
DrGud:
Doctors are now d soldiers. Risking everything for our safety.
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:46am On Mar 20, 2020
Kudos to doctors around the world, Nigeria is not inclusive.
drnoel:
Comments like this takes the fun out of the struggle. Many colleagues have considered resigning cos we are overrun. The health system is moving doctors from other departments to ER cos they are overun. They are graduating final year medical students in Italy without their final exams, this baptism of fire will be their exam.
Where I am, I can't count how many times patients have attempted to beat me up. One came into my face to threaten me, I had to take several steps back. Several Colleagues got involved immediately. The struggle is real #stayhome
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:43am On Mar 20, 2020
Please direct your question to foreign doctors, they are not on this platform. Nigerian Doctors are looking for money not questions. Meet selfless abroad Doctors aiding humanity on Twitter
grandstar:
The medical industry also owes citizens some questions such as:

1. Does using hand held hair driers kill the virus at the incubator stage? The heat from it is a kiss of death to the virus.

2. Does sitting beside a bucket of very hot water, covering yourself with a blanket so that the heat from the water doesn't escape so as to inhale the steam to kill the virus in its early incubator stage work? At the early stage, it's still within your nostrils so the steam can kill it. You are to steam yourself that way twice a day, 20 minutes each time

3. Can chloroquine prevent or kill the virus?

Measures listed above if helpful I believe can go a long way in relieving the burden on health workers. By providing us with credible info which can provide beneficial self help, it will help reduce and contain the present panic, real and exaggerated panic, borne out of ignorance from both the medical world and citizens about this pandemic.
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:38am On Mar 20, 2020
Please those in Nigeria are not inclusive.
Uyi168:
..
This one really touched me...
What would we have done without these guys??
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:36am On Mar 20, 2020
You said it all. They lack passion for the profession. If this is to fight for salaries or fight other health care professionals, you will see them all littered all over the cyber educating people. Nigerian Doctors are so selfish and lacks the ethics to aid humanity. I am yet to see a Nigerian Doctor educate Nigerians on this pandemic (even if it is copy and paste).
kerry57:
Where Nigerian doctors dey? No to go on strike anytime any life threatening disease show up them sabi. More of wicked souls with no value for human lives is what we have as doctors in naija.
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:31am On Mar 20, 2020
You can never understand the point he made because you may be one of the useless Nigerian doctors with no impact. You see how Doctors abroad are trying to help despite being in the front line. No Nigerian doctor or doctors has even voluntarily try to educate the society or create some sort of awareness. I guess they are waiting for money.
Iyiataata92:
You don't have to wait for Nigerian doctors. Do your own and allow doctors do their own

You can't afford to be a monitoring spirit in such a situation
Stay At Home

obagolord:

#Keep urself and environment clean
#Contact the NCDC rather than spreading the virus
#Also pray

HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:21am On Mar 20, 2020
Please Nigerian Doctors are not inclusive.
Explorers:
Without the medical practitioners, the battle would be lost right away.

So it’s heartbreaking to see them crying over ignorant people who find the task of staying home too big to handle. Thus, frontline workers unite in a global plea begging you to stay home so they can keep doing their job.
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:20am On Mar 20, 2020
Nigerian doctors are politicians, they are just good boasting even when they are empty. They lack the passion for the profession. They are mere opportunists. Even those that are not on strike has contributed nothing.
CalabarPikin:
Meanwhile doctors in my dear country are on strike.....
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:16am On Mar 20, 2020
Thanks for seeing this just like me. Most Nigerian Doctors are useless. Some of them here call me hater but ignore my genuine critics. I have seen no Nigerian Doctor living in Nigeria participate. Some Doctors saw it as an opportunity to strike. Exception of the Nigerian Nurse on Instagram, all medical practitioners in Nigeria lacks passion to aid humanity. They are clueless. The medical MVPs are those in abroad. I have seen a Ghanaian doctor educate their people but Nigerian hell no.
cRobo:
I wait until I see Nigeria doctors do this

Until then

I won't say a word
HealthRe: Doctors, Nurses Around The World Unite In Begging People To Stay At Home (Pics) by Correcto: 9:09am On Mar 20, 2020
Doctors and nurses around around the world. Is Nigeria inclusive? Nope!!! I have seen no Nigerian Doctor living in Nigeria participate, exception of a nurse on Instagram. This is time for medical and health practitioners to assist the world but those is in Nigeria are using it to strike home their demands. Kudos to Doctors and Nurses around the world involved.
Explorers:
As the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases globally is now a staggering 218,824, doctors are left short-handed. Hospitals now face a battle with time, where equipment, supplies, and trained staff members are depleting daily.

PoliticsRe: Obaseki Endorsed For A Second Term Bid by Correcto: 8:57pm On Mar 19, 2020
It is better to fight like Obaseki than cowardly accept failure like Ambode.
aminulive:
POLITICSNIGERIA.COM

Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, has been endorsed for a second term, POLITICS NIGERIA exclusively gathered.

This development is coming as the rift in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is being laid to rest.

This paper reported how the rift between the national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and Mr Obaseki, had posed a threat to his re-election as the Governor.

However, a reliable source, who is also a close ally of Mr Obaseki told this paper that since the party has made reconciliatory moves, it has agreed to return Obaseki as the Governor.

Meanwhile, when this paper reached out to the spokesperson of Obaseki, Crusoe Osagie, on Thursday, he refused to comment.

Nonetheless, he debunked allegations that Obaseki plans to join the Action Alliance (AA) since some party stakeholders were opposed to his ambition.

"They are all lies," he told our reporter.

Also, he confirmed that the National Chairman has settled scores with Mr Obaseki following the intervention of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that the reinstated Deputy National Chairman, North, of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC Sen. Lawal Shuaibu, said for the party to make headway in the forthcoming governorship elections in Edo State, the incumbent governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki remained its best bet.

Mr Shuaibu who was returned to the party after the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole-led National Working Committee NWC extended an olive branch to all officials on Wednesday, spoke to journalists about the chances of Obaseki.

Asked whether the altercation between the governor and Comrade Oshiomhole was a time bomb waiting to explode during the elections, Shuaibu said, “It is not a time bomb. We all heard President Buhari during the last NEC meeting announce that any governor who has performed deserves a second term."
