Grandiose hallucinations . He is only hating himself. Does he know what it takes to be a doctor? All these people with low self esteem. Rather than fight the common enemy, which is the government that have destroyed health care... Nonsense. |

I read only the second link, which is credible. After reading I understood that fact that PhD is made optional for Clinical lecturers and a pathway was created for fellows to get a PhD. The matter is resolved. Bottom line is PhD is still above the fellowship because you will still require thesis to acquire a PhD (which many of stupidly call cosmetic. NUC set the standards As for me hating doctors, I careless about your opinion or thought. So in your mind this is the right time for you strike to demand 2 months owed pay? Corona is knocking by the corner and all you think best is to go on strike. Chinese, Italian and western doctors are busy trying to save their countries and the world but Nigerian doctors are rather using it as a bargaining chip. You guys are just shameless. Many doctors abroad are volunteering to assist Italy as I speak. I saw a Doctor from Ghana providing some innovative local tips to help secure his country but you guys here are just empty. jaephoenix: |

Correcto:… and those Italian, Chinese and Western doctors have been owed for 2 months, right? Listen, you guys are unreasonable. Even if the Nigerian doc wants to go to work, where do u think he's gonna get money for fuel or transport fees or food or school fees for kids? Have you heard a doctor got free meals at any restaurant or free fuel, instead they would even con you to pay more. We still queue to buy(yes buy) fuel and still pay for meat like the ordinary Nigerian. So why should we work on empty stomachs with our kids at home? |
Re: Abuja Doctors Begin Strike, Amidst Coronavirus Crisis by jaephoenix(m): 2:37pm On Mar 19, 2020 |
Correcto:Oga, PhD isn't higher. It's just an alternative path for any doctor to follow. In the end, no doc would get a PhD since its worthless in our medical job career. And NUC knows no doc would get that, but they are trying to save face. So ultimately the doctors won since they wont require any PhD to teach in the university. Capisce, hater? |

Just shut up, you play the victim card so well. Can you please research the months that wasn't paid? Did they miss last month or last two months salaries? Please enough!!! A typical Nigerian does things at the wrong time. This is not the time to go on strike, after this pandemic you can go on strike as much as you want. jaephoenix: |
