Good n bad news at the same time . . .
Good news because it means more resources, money, and jobs.
Bad news because it connotes more dependence on petrodollar.
Dependence on petrodollar is a thing of the past in this country, methinks.

I've said it before: This recession is a blessing in disguise for us Nigerians. It's forcing us all to look inwards and not depend on oil as the only means of sustaining ourselves.

Good job, governor.

You can actually solve it without the theorem but it will take a longer process. join A and T with a line that passes through the centre (diameter), then join B and T as well and u get a chord. U will notice u get a right angle at B and a right angle at T from the known theorems. then u can get X by equating results got for AT from the two right-angled triangles formed. i.e CBT and ATB.
Thank you for replying late.
First, there is no way to convincingly prove that a line joining A and T passes through the centre of the circle. Secondly, I got a right angle at T but not at B, since B is not a point of tangency.

I would nevertheless appreciate if you can attach a picture of what you're trying to convey.

Thank you.

Thank you very much. The little problem is that this theorem was not given in the text, so I believe there must be a simpler way of doing this using one of the eight found in New General Maths for SS2.

The correct theorem states that,"If a secant and a tangent of a circle are drawn from a point outside the circle, then the product of the lengths of the secant and its external segment equals the square of the length of the tangent segment. Interpreted as AC × BC = CT²
(6+x)6 = 8² = 64
6 + x = 64 ÷ 6 = 10.67
x = 10.67 - 6
x = 4.67

Please I need help with this question. I just can't get around it. The Circle Geometry theorems I know don't seem to work.

The question is, Find x, i.e. AB.
Please I still need help with this question.

Hello all. I got a Samsung galaxy s7 yesterday but I can't get it to change from E (edge) to 3G. The phone is showing 4G LTE at the top screen but E is displayed for Internet connection. I'm using etisalat and it was on 3G while I was using it on previous phone. While going through the phone, I saw a Network Mode function but it was unselectable.

Please help.

Great!

We have seen that it is possible to bring change and progress. When the man said he will stabilise the industry they laughed. Because successive administrations failed to bring transparency and professionalism to management of the oil sector, they thought it was impossible.

We now have sincere leadership. Despite their determination to see this government fail, despite their un-belief and distractions, lies and mischief, we are making progress. Things can only get better!

May God strengthen Buhari and those he is working with to deliver the change we voted for.
Good leadership from Buhari.

Foreign AffairsCameron To Quit As UK Votes To Leave EU by Cortana2(op): 8:43am On Jun 24, 2016
Prime Minister David Cameron is to step down by October after the UK voted to leave the European Union.
Mr Cameron made the announcement in a statement outside Downing Street after the final result was announced.
He said he would attempt to "steady the ship" over the coming weeks and months but that "fresh leadership" was needed.
The PM had urged the country to vote Remain, warning of economic and security consequences of an exit, but the UK voted to Leave by 52% to 48%.
England and Wales voted strongly for Brexit, while London, Scotland and Northern Ireland backed staying in.
UKIP leader Nigel Farage hailed it as the UK's "independence day" but the Remain camp called it a "catastrophe".
The pound fell to its lowest level against the dollar since 1985 as the markets reacted to the results.
