Enugu State University Web developer leaks his maltreatment as Esut owes him 24 months salary. Letter of complaint from ESUT Developer Dear Sir, It has been a really good experience working for ESUT. For 2 years, I've worked for ESUT with all my heart, had sleepless nights, used my data, spent 230 Naira on transportation (every working day) to school without a single pay. I sacrificed a whole lot, I left my HND admission to come work full time and uplift ESUT in my little corner. I said "No" to employment opportunities I got, so I can focus on developing the ESUT community. I wish I can do more, I really wish I can. I developed the www.esut.edu.ng website (2 good times), the second time, which is the current website was the yearly scheduled update which was done last year, with plans of updating again this new session. I developed the www.e-library.esut.edu.ng from scratch, wrote all the codes myself, created multiple privileges so other staff can help upload the books, and when it was abandoned, I did it all alone. And that's the website being used to clear the accreditation exercise. I developed the www.library.esut.edu.ng website, housing the e-resources and e-journals being used for accreditation. Time for accreditation, I go online, hunt for those resources, and add them up. I take ESUT work as my personal work. I go about the school snapping the facilities and adding them to our photo gallery. I upload all the pictures of the convocation ceremonies and convocation lectures. I walk to the PRO's office almost everyday, trying to find out if there's any latest news so we can broadcast it. I developed the www.spgs.esut.edu.ng website. When the traffic on our website was too much that the website crashed, I spent hours, with my data, researching on how to increase the quota so it can accommodate the huge traffic, finally, I got it working. The books supplied to us contained viruses sometime ago, I spent hours installing antivirus to the web server and scanning till everything was alright. I started developing websites for all units in the school, which we started with the ICTC unit hosted at www.ictc.esut.edu.ng You told me we should look at developing for all the faculties and units, I came up with beautiful designs for them. Sir you can remember ESUT's position on the webometrics ranking when we came in. We were 73. My effort pushed them to 42. At this point, Sir, I quit! I quit working for ESUT. I quit begging and crying everyday to be paid for the job I've done. I quit borrowing to work for my employers. Thank you very much for taking me as your own son, trying everything possible to get me re-engaged. I cannot thank you enough, God will surely reward your efforts. If I get opportunities to work under you in the future, I'll gladly do.

Chukzyfcb:This guy what is even wrong with you, you just want to put fear into people, from the look of things you don't even have up to 200k in MMM I have my 1.2M which is not a small money so stop all this mess...MMM has not crash am a consltant in MMM we were informed earlier before now since last two months that mavro will be frozen on 13th I even informed few people around me to GH if the need the money for something serious this period, by January 4th everything will be cool, calm down everyone will be paid |
8. Nigerians don't give up easily Check the history of all ponzi schemes, it never ends well. It will keep growing and more people will keep investing their money until it finally gets to the stage where it bursts like a bubble. What happens most of the time is the early subscribers earn the actual money and the latter participants end up losing. MMM pays, but for how long?
|
7. Articles that criticize MMM It is because of those articles that criticize MMM and warn against it that some people won’t stop investing in it. Some feel there is something the government or those criticizing MMM are trying to hide. According to one MMM participant, the CBN warned people against participating out of jealousy being that it was making the poor, richer. |
6. Greed A lot of people want to reap where they did not sow. Most people are not interested in working hard, they just want quick money and MMM provides that. People will keep increasing the fund they put in to getting more money even though they have been advised to use only their spare money. They won't heed warning until when the scheme goes down. Ponzi scheme plays and thrives on people’s greed.
|
5. Unemployment As the economy keeps getting worse, the unemployment rate is getting high. Many who had jobs at the beginning of the year are now out of jobs as employers have been laying off staff. When there are no jobs and one has to cater for his family, he will embrace any option that will fetch him cash. What better option than to join those benefitting from MMM? As long as it keeps paying the bills and putting food on the table, there is no way Nigerians will give up on it.
|
4. Influence Almost everyone around you is involved in MMM. A member of your family or friend is involved and they influence you to join, telling you of all the benefits. You decide to join because of your friend and then you start to enjoy free money too. Next thing, you are getting your other friends to join too. After all, no one wants miss out on the extra source of income.
|
3. Economy It came into the country at a when the economic situation in the country is rapidly going from bad to worse. Minimum wage is N18,000, fuel price is N145 per litre and the prices of goods are going up on a daily basis. Despite criticisms, Nigerians are going crazy over this scheme. Nigerians would gladly jump at anything that has the potential to provide an extra source of income. Until the entire scheme fizzles away or crashes, Nigerians will not give up on MMM.
|
2. MMM pays No bank pays a monthly investment return of 30 per cent. For many, MMM is a blessing to the poor and average earners. Imagine helping someone with N100,000 and getting an extra 30 per cent of the money in a month’s time. Cool cash right? It is access to fast and free cash. A lot of people are benefitting from MMM. Many are using it to feed their families and there’s nothing you will tell them that will make them stop. Who wouldn't be enticed with 30 per cent Return on Investment (ROI) after 30 days?
|
1. Life is a risk “He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life,” Muhammad Ali. They say life itself is full of risk. We take risks everyday of our lives. There’s a chance that you might not see tomorrow. Many have lost millions to business ventures and have not given up in hopes that one day, they will get it right. No one advices you about the risks involved before joining but you are aware it is a risky venture. For those benefiting from MMM, it’s all about taking that risk.

Here are reasons why Nigerians cannot give up on MMM until it finally crashes. |
God bless OP |

printing with Kord unlike DI where you just pint your design directly from the printer like the traditional laser jet and desk jet printer. Here a lot of steps are involved 1. Separation and film production 2. Plating 3. Impression let's kick off, after your design must have been ready (please this advice is strictly for designers, please always give space at each sides of your design for cutting or brushing so that you won't lose part of your work during cutting and please remember to save your design as CMYK) you take your design for film and separation, the number of films produced depends on the colour of your work single colour work Two colour or more full color. And the cost of this depends on the size and the colour A3 full colour is about (N4, 500) A4 Full colour is about(N2, 500) After this process the next step is plating a process which involves transfer of the film into an aluminum sheet..whic cost around (350 - 400) per plate Afte this step the next step is taking your plate to a printing machine where the image on the plate is transferred to a paper sheet. Ok let's look at how it feels carry out a project on a KORD Printer specimen a calendar of A2 size 100 copies more loading.... |
let's now move on i will start the DI AND HOW TO MAXIMIZE PROFIT IN DI PRINTING Di has been the newest machine for printing since few year now despite it few limitations many printers have found pleasure in DI. Cost of printing DI MOST DI PRINTING PRESS CHARGES AS BELOW A4 (250gm Art card) = (45-50) A4(400-300gm Art card)=(80-100) A4 (250gm Art paper) =(45-50) A3(Art paper) =(40 -45) A3(Art care 250gm) = (40-45) A3(Art care 300-400gm) = (50-60) NOTE: the prices are in Naira and are liable to be increased or decreased at anytime..the price above are as of price during the time of this post now that we now have a clue on the prices of this paper sizes let's look at how much we can charge our client and how to maximaze profit. Let's take for instant you have a project of flyer of about 1000 copies A6 size. now having in mind that a sheet of A6 can be cut into 4 to get four A6 sheets while a sheet of A3 will give 8 sheets of A6 and one sheet of A3 cost around N40 for art paper now let's see how many sheets you will need to print to have 1000 copies of A6 sheets total required sheets = 1000 paper to print on = A3 how many sheet in a sheet of A3 =8 8 divide by 1000 =125 sheet 125 sheets * N40 = N5000 that means your cost of printing is N5000 Then go for cutting, which might cost around N200 or N500 at this point you should add your transportation and other expenses for the job At the end of the day, you might have spent around N6000 for everything is now left for you to add your own money as your profit for the work |
printing Most people get confused at this point, as there are many machines for paper printing most especially the kORD and the latest technology with is the DI (direct image)printer which has made printing work much easier and reduce the much steps in Kord printing, even tho the DI Has it own limitations in printing few of this limitations include paper sizes, the Di machine commonly found within are limited to A3 paper sizes. That means works with the size of A2 or A1 can't be printed with the DI Machine. Other limitations includes, high cost of printing, and margin issues which i will be discussing on later topics. Some major things to consider before choosing printer to be used for a project 1. What's the client chose of printing(i have met a lot of clients who will only wants to have their jobs printed with DI Machines) 2. How much you charged for the project 3. The size of the work to be printed 4. Time factor for job delivery once this factors have been considered..it is time to drive to printing |
paper sizes paper can comes in different sizes which include A1, A4, A2 etc while it can also be cut to different sizes to suit your desired size. The art paper comes in A1 size usually called reams while the card usually comes in packet. For those that has know papers by it standard sizes A6 is half of A5 A5 is half of A4 A4 is half of A3 A3 is half of A2 A2 is half of A1 |
Stage two choosing paper for printing your chose of paper for printing depends on the nature of your work, it might be a business card, church flyers, posters or magazine. Let's kick off with the art paper, this is the most used paper, it covers a wide range in printing work, it can be used to print flyers, posters and magazine. The card paper as it names implies normally comes in a card form, thick and comes in different weight 150grams to 300grams etc. It is an ideal for books cover page, magazine cover pages, business cards, invitation cards etc |
Let's look at printing materials one of the most printable material is paper, it comes in different sizes and textures. Categories of papers when it comes to textures include uncoated and coated stocked. Uncoated stock is paper that has no coated pigment applied to reduce the absorbency or increase the smoothness. The uncoated finishes can be described as vellum, antique, wove, or smooth. coated stock has a surface coating that has been applied to make the surface more receptive for the reproduction of text and images in order to achieve sharper detail and improved color density. By adding a coated clay pigment, the objective of coating the stock is to improve the smoothness and reduce the absorbency. Coated paper finishes can be categorized as matte, dull, cast, gloss, and high gloss. The coating can be on both sides of the stock (coated two sides) or on one side only (coated one side). From these subcategories, paper stocks are then separated into types such as offset, bond, cover, index, and vellum bristol. While when it comes to paper thickness we have two categories which is art card and art paper which the both of them comes in different sizes |
stage one The first thought before printing is the design, i don't want to waste much time on design issues, the nature of your printed work has a lot to do with the quality and look of your print, i advice you to always look out for professional graphic designers. Yes it has a lot of profit which include color management, paper management, economic profits too. Been in the field of design and printing for years, i have always noticed how poor graphic designers put extra cost on jobs, a GOOD DESIGNER will do a work done on A6 paper better with clearity of information and better work arrangement than a work done on an A4 by an amature designer So always seek attention of a good designer |
