tempex88:Oga, noted. Still, share the VIN. Thank you! https://www.nairaland.com/4404478/toks-2008-mercedes-c300-3.6m "Me don't hide what am selling" with the C300 in that advert. If you will not do so, STFU and get lost. |

tempex88:Interesting. While you're at it, please share the VIN for your advertised c300 below: https://www.nairaland.com/4404478/toks-2008-mercedes-c300-3.6m |

andy244:This is the same car you purportedly sold in February. https://www.nairaland.com/4333404/sold-auction-sales-toks-2005 Did you sell it, or buy it? What's the situation here? If you did sell it, this request implies that you did so with no idea if the vehicle was severely damaged. Your request also implies that you understand the importance of vehicle history reports, so why didn't you run the VIN 'few months ago'? |

jaxauto2006:You seem to have left out the picture that would make that accident free claim for the vehicle with the purchase pictures above, quite false. 4T1BF1FKXDU700690 www.nairaland.com/attachments/7474433_resizer8_jpeg_jpegbc72ac5089918872ffe8d490c90f4d62 |
The summary of this drama is: The OP made claims in his account of the events that weren't true, and omitted vital facts. This action prompted further investigation into his claims, and the results were posted on this thread. Now the OP claims they were all mistakes and he didn't want to reveal that the vehicle was en route Nigeria, so he gave the impression that it was already in Nigeria. He also claims he made mistakes with the pictures he posted. The rest of his comments have either been insults, or random silly comments. Normally I would be very glad to return insult for insult, but we should let cooler heads prevail. OP you need to be careful about the claims you make. If a dealer can claim accident free when a vehicle is not, and he gets called out, why would you assume you wouldn't be called out when you make misrepresenting or untrue claims? You've admitted you made mistakes. Like I stated on the first page, all I had were theories, based on your statements. No accusations were made. Perhaps I could have taken a different path to achieve the same goal, perhaps not. Ultimately it matters little. I will continue to point out any untrue claims I come across. Your adulation or opprobrium makes no difference either way. The movement continues. |
I have a simple question though. I asked Cosplay:To which you replied almsofgold:That was where alarm bells started to go off. The next claim you made about pictures at the dealers lot added fuel to the fire. Because I knew for a fact that that vehicle couldn't possibly be in Nigeria. So I ask again: Have you had the car physically inspected? |
almsofgold:This is actually funny. The errors in your account of these events spurred the rest of this drama this evening. If I wouldn't ignore inaccuracies or false claims a seller makes, why exactly would I ignore false claims a buyer makes? |
Now to the rest of the silliness you posted. You made a post and the very glaring holes and discrepancies in it were pointed out. If you made mistakes in the post, it's up to you to own up to them and provide the correct information. Just to see if I understand your logic, you expected that if I came across discrepancies in your account I would ignore them because... you're not a 'dealer'? That right there is some silly logic. Respect? Me? Someone you've never met or you don't even know? That would be a mistake. I do not require or need your respect. It matters very little to me. It simply makes no difference. At all. Envy? Hate? Envious of...computerglobal? Thats actually funny. What exactly would be the motive for this "Envy" and "Hate" you've referred to? The same computerglobal that I've recommended both on this forum and off this forum? You're emotional, it's understandable. Don't let your emotional response blunt your objectivity. |
Your original post: almsofgold: Time was 2:14 am and I got in touch with him through WhatsApp. I wasn't expecting any response till later in the day, when he responded almost immediately.Yet the timestamp on that chat is 4:05 am. |

while describing the repairs you carried out. So it’s your description of accident I should rely on for purchase. Right?
but the auction price of the vehicle was more than $20k. And factory repairs made was over $10k got receipt to prove..
