When you were pestering me about the cars location, asking if it was in surulere,I said no'.but you kept asking as if we're family,or related . I wanted to reply 'enroute', but thought better of it.its not everything you disclose on a faceless forum like NL. when computerglobal asked about the vehicles location I replied him because we have a business, but I don't have anything with you whatsoever, save for the admiration on the way you tackle mischievous dealers on the auto section. That respect is gone with you run down atittude. Never once did I mention that the car was in Nigeria explicitly.logic and common sense is needed here.
While everyone one else was congratulating and throwing friendly banters, you brought down envy and hate on the whole thing. I'm highly dissappointed in you.you of all people. The other pic was posted in error. It can happen to anyone, mister perfect.
I'm actually typing with a bad phone,so I can't explain everything now.but you're a serious let down for ruining computerglobal profile with your selfish and sadistic mien.yiu should apologise if there's any drop of humility in you
I will ignore all the random nonsense you posted, and focus on the issues.

I asked:

Cosplay:
Nice one.

Have you had the car physically inspected?
To which you replied:

almsofgold:
grin
yes boss.learnt from the best.keep up the good work by the way boss8).full disclosure I is King

Mr cosplay,I salute your dexterity and investigative accumen, but I personally think you over did it this time.you should've waited for my response before going all Sherlock Holmes on me.In your quest to ridicule me,you forgot I'm not selling the car, but buying, therefore ruining a beautiful thread meant to appreciate and honor a hard working man. Are you in competition with him?
Now to the main gist, which of course, I don't owe you any explanation, but for posterity sake ,let's begin
Your account of the events had several holes, which I have pointed out.

If you have interpreted that as an effort to 'ridicule' you, well that's unfortunate. It's also your problem, not mine.

Ruining the thread? That's an odd comment to make. I have recommended Oga computerglobal so often that it made a nefarious character start a thread accusing me of being in cahoots with him.

You're right, you owe nobody any explanations. It's entirely up to you.

These are all theories, as I stated. Perhaps an overactive imagination. I'm sure they're purely circumstantial. You can dispel all doubt and we can all sing the praises in unison.

evening cosplay and every other person in 'doubt'.im just coming in from a very hectic day after over sleeping and meeting late appointments.i promise every query Will be met with a reasonable response.
That would be appreciated.

almsofgold:
Will upload the car pics at the dealers soon.
Any progress with the above?

That would be a good place to start.

Cosplay: The OP has said he would provide pictures of the vehicle in the dealer's lot. That would further clarify the issue.

Please include a picture of the VIN sticker showing the VIN clearly on the vehicle, as you did for these auction pictures. That would indeed settle the matter.
AutosRe: ................. by Cosplay: 8:17pm On Jul 26, 2018
Now, I have no problem with these threads acknowledging assistance rendered by members, but it's very important to be honest.

OP, this is also not an accusation, I'm merely seeking clarification. I could very well be wrong.

I happen to be familiar with the 2010 Toyota Corolla VIN 2T1BU4EE5AC328630.

The following are the facts about this vehicle:

1. This vehicle was put up for auction on iaai, bidding was on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

www.nairaland.com/attachments/7469303_screenshot20180726092521chrome_jpegfb07cd6f30d570011fc287a26b494857

www.nairaland.com/attachments/7469305_2t1bu4ee5ac3286305_jpeg_jpeg401942bfd98e439f4b0ccc3474fe4b36

2. The date today is Wednesday July 26, 2018. , and you mentioned you inspected the vehicle at the dealer's lot.

So this vehicle was trucked or towed from Morganville, New Jersey, cleared US customs, shipped to Lagos, cleared Nigerian customs, underwent the repairs and repainting, and was put on a dealer's lot in Nigeria in 15 days?

Consider the following from multiple sources:

DelTel:
@Cosplay: more specific, 4-6weeks east coast states i.e MD, FL, ME, NH, VT, RI, MA, CT, NJ, PA, DE, DC, VA, NC, SC, GA, (NY has become troublesome lately). While, 8-12weeks for west coast areas.
The OP has said he would provide pictures of the vehicle in the dealer's lot. That would further clarify the issue.

Please include a picture of the VIN sticker showing the VIN clearly on the vehicle, as you did for these auction pictures. That would indeed settle the matter.

I'm sure many members would be willing to pay for a service that can get a vehicle from US auction to a dealers lot in Nigeria, with repairs and repainting in 2 weeks.

3. Further, as Deltel shrewdly observed, the OP posted photos of 2 different vehicles. One is a black 2010 corolla, the black vehicle he posted pictures of initially.

The second vehicle is a Silver 2009 Toyota Corolla. Note the second set of images OP posted. One of them is from the Silver 2009 Corolla VIN 2T1BU40E99C017754 in the picture below.

www.nairaland.com/attachments/7472260_20180726201055_jpegb422b2b6c2579b4aeaa30af16db7c704

OP needs to clarify which Toyota Corolla he discussed with computerglobal, the 2009 Black or the 2010 Silver.

OP has said computerglobal sent him the report with pictures, the second set of images he posted do not seem like images sent to him, they seem like images accessed locally on his device.

As far as I know, computerglobal sends his reports in PDF format. They could be screenshots sent to him, but OP mentioned the report was sent early today. The last 2 images have 2 different timestamps.

One was saved around 10:19 am, and the other around 6:26 pm.

There are a lot of issues with this account of OP's interaction with oga computerglobal.

However this may all be a mix up.

Any clarification about the issues above would be highly welcome.

We will be waiting.

Not very popular.
Approximately how long would you estimate it would take for a vehicle from auction to arrive Nigeria from the US?

A general estimate, never mind about the US state the vehicle is located in.

So I couldn't sleep this morning cause I've got my eyes on this very beautiful 2010 corrolla . The dealer was a very convincing saleman.he kept assuring me that it was a good buy and I shouldn't bother myself. He honestly disclosed it to be an accidented car,but with only a rear end impact. In as much as I wanted to believe him,I decided to go the 'VIN' way.
VIN was provided.i tried free VIN check but came up short.it was not explanatory enough. There and then I decided I was gonna part with some dough to get a comprehensive VIN report . So I tried CARFAX. Oh boy, their fee cost an arm and a leg and probably a testicle. Then I remembered computerglobal. I never for once though I would need his services, and I there couldn't have been a better time than now
Time was 2:14 am and I got in touch with him through WhatsApp. I wasn't expecting any response till later in the day, when he responded almost immediately. This guy no dey sleep ni? undecided . He listed his services and fees, and I chose the premium one because I wanted piece of mind. I wasn't going to Dole out millions of naira without due diligence because of a few thousands.
My report was ready within minutes, and to say I was pleased beyond explanation is an understatement . Apart from the reports and pics, I also got a layman's explanatory of it all.in short ,he gave the car a clean bill of health . I'm happy and relaxed. I'm also going to pay for my baby now knowing I ain't buying a lemon .
Thanks for the patience and understanding computerglobal.will highly recommend you to family and friends.thanks once a again. You can take it from here.this post is dedicated to you. grin
Nice one.

I took note before you mentioned me.

He assumes we're all fools, that he can get every thread he makes dishonest claims or tries to sell dangerous vehicles on, deleted or hidden.

As a matter of fact just to demonstrate this, he will collaborate with whichever moderator assists him in this nefarious activity to delete your posts, and the moderator may ban you. Heck, the moderator may ban me as well for these revealing comments.

But ultimately it doesn't matter.

No number of deleted or hidden threads will save him if he continues to advertise dangerous vehicles and make false claims about his advertised vehicles.

Just note his reaction when confronted with the fact that that Toyota Yaris was flood damaged. That's the reaction of someone who has done this several times.

Go through them and you'll see just how many '"clean title" vehicles he advertised turned out to be accidented and/or salvaged.

Your prayer is noted. Mine is this:

For every unsuspecting individual who you sell a vehicle to without informing them about the history or hiding relevant history information from them, may whatever profit you make from that sale turn to dust in your hands, may you have nothing but bitterness and sorrow, and may you, your progeny and the rest of your generation never prosper from that sale and all others like it.

So shall it be.

This picture is wrong. It doesn’t belong to this car. It’s unfair for people to derail the hard work of others just because you feel insecure.

I believe you appreciate that this is someone’s investments. He/she is legitimately making a living and you are somewhere derailing his legitimate work.

It is well.
Perhaps you should review your position in the matter.

If even such an obstinate and recalcitrant character as the poster above felt the need to contribute, that's a strong sign that your debate has no basis.

Tip: where flies gather, there's often rotting meat.
