Nigeria's biggest indigenous Awards "Headies" has released a press statement calling for the general public to send in materials for a chance to be nominated for Headies Awards 2019.

Here's the full details on how to be nominated.

CALL FOR ENTRY –THE 13TH HEADIES AWARD
The Headies, Nigeria’s biggest and most prestigious music Awards, has opened its doors to receive entries for the 13th Headies Award!

Only musical works released within January 2018 and June 2019 are eligible for submission and stand a chance at being nominated.

Wizkid is set to drop his 4th studio album “Made in Lagos” in October 2019 under Starboy/RCA.
The album has been teased and talked about by the singer for about a year now.
Nigerian singer, Wizkid has been teasing his fourth studio album for the better part of 12 months.
The title, “ Made in Lagos ” is a direct reference to his Nigerian roots that lead straight to his Shitta (Small London), Surulere, Lagos beginnings. Fans and music enthusiasts expected the album to drop after the viral success of his single, ‘ Fever ,’ but it didn’t.
According to Wizkid “Made In Lagos” is going to be an EP for his record label acts, The Made in Lagos album is Wizkid’s attempt at regaining hold of the home scene after his foray into international waters with the Sounds From The Other Side album released last year. Released and distributed under RCA Records/Sony Music International , SFTOS sold 6,286 units in its first week.
On March 19, 2019, the singer hosted a live session on his Instagram page, @ wizkidayo and teased snippets to a few songs, presumably made for the upcoming album.
Three months later, on June 4, 2019, the singer took to his Instagram stories and posted the message, “ “Gong” blessed me highest level of vibration! #MadeinLagos ! Best I ever made. yes Fada!”
On Friday September 13, 2019, Wizkid released the first song off his “Made in Lagos” album titled “ Ghetto Love”. The video topped Nigeria YouTube charts while the audio dominated Nigeria’s ITunes chart.
“Ghetto Love” is the First Afrobeat Song to makes it to NUMBER1 on US HIP/HOP video iTunes chart. It made WizKid the first Nigerian artist to have his song on TOP 50 US HIP/HOP ITUNE CHART.

Starboy Entertainment boss Wizkid once again shuts down USA iTunes chart with the visuals of his latest release.

The afro pop star who's preparing to release his forth coming album " Made In Lags" is yet again bagging the numbers in USA.

"Ghetto Love" which is currently the No. 1 trending music video on Nigeria You Tube with 593,287 views has broken several records in USA iTunes chart.

DMW boss Davido who is signed to Sony Music is set to drop his 2nd studio album “A Good Time” in October 2019.
Sony Music West Africa took to twitter to release a press statement unveiling the name of Davido’s sophomore album to be “A Good Time”.

Sony Music West Africa Wrote,

“For Afro-Fusion artiste, Davido, it has been a long walk to delivering his sophomore studio album seven years after the release of his debut album: “O.B.O: The Genesis”.

According to the singer, the social media age has dramatically reduced the shelf life of songs. This is why he stuck to releasing his music, singles after singles. However, stalling the release of another album was not intentional.



Davido’s story as an artiste was set for a plot twist on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in Lagos Nigeria where Sony Music West Africa hosted a private listening event for the singer’s forthcoming album.”
