Funny how people who cannot manage and maintain security in their own locality, take shelter in Lagos to escape from kidnappers and the likes. Those people now think they have the magic wand to export whatever leadership failure they run away from into Lagos. Impossible

How much are they paying current shareholders to go private? Is there a formal offer already by the company to go private?

He built nework, he did this and that. You see those things as bridge building or nework building but Notherners don't believe in such school of thought.. They believe you people fought together to achieve a common goal which is acquisition of power and they have assumed that everbody has been settled for his efforts...

If they really believe in your school of thoughts somebody like Lawan won't have the guts to contest against Tinubu.. Buhari and his cabals wouldn't have fought against Tinubu's presidency which they are still fighting against secretly till today .. we all know how Tinibu helped Buhari in 2015..

Stop the hallucination. They don't Owe Tinubu anything...

Even Osibanjo also contested against Tinubu which even gave notherners more guts to be fighting Tinubu....

Notherners are waiting for Tinubu.. This is politics.. Notherners are not loyal.. Ask Wike, he can tell you his ordeal with Tambuwai

There is no friendship or loyalty in politics, it's all about interest..

If your argument has merit, Tunubu would have lost the APC candidacy battle. But he did not. All the northern governor voted for him as a payback for his vision, political astuteness, loyalty and most importantly the best candidate from APC to face and beat Atiku. In politics, loyalty is the currency. The earlier you guys understand this, the better. Jagaban is about to school the whole Nigeria once again, about the role of loyalty in Nigerian politics. Get ready for the case study

I want to understand why SW Believe that Tinubu Will Win in SW because he's a SW son, but don't believe that Notherners will Support their Sons..( Atiku and Kwankwaso)..

Should I call this a delusion or a Fantasy ?

Some said it's because of zoning... Lol

Zoning is dead and buried !!!

It's only SW people that were pushing for zoning to sell their candidate before thinking the battle would be between two forces, now it's four forces...

Notherners don't care about zoning again and they can do whatever they like and get away with it..
Tambuwai despite his exposure and education rubbished Zoning and stepped down for his brother.. If notherners really care about zoning Tambuwai wouldn't have done that...

Tambuwa's mentality is the mentality of a typical Nothern Muslim.. To them " My brother ist" before any other thing... If Tambuwai, Ahmed Lawan,Atiku Yahaya Bello could kick out Zoning what made you think that average northern voter cares about zoning ?

Who started that narrative that North will abandon their sons and support Tinubu during general election ?

The reason why the southwest will vote Tinubu is because of the influence he has over most of the leaders all over the states including; Governors, National Assembly representatives, state house of assemblies members and other big politicians within the state. Reason is because, the man is responsible, either directly or indirectly for making most of them politically relevant regionally and nationally. Tinubu has also spread his tentacles into other zones including SS, NW, NE, NC to make politicians relevant.

In politics Loyalty is everything. If as a politician, your political journey was orchestrated by Jagaban’s resources including money, network and personal campaigns… will you at this critical junction abandon him? The answer is no.

How many leaders has Atiku/Kwankwaso helped into power, outside their state of origin in the north? How many northern politicians can claim they owe their political relevance to these two guys outside Adamawa and Kano?

You say SW supports him because he’s a SW son, I laugh. You say Nigeria supports him because of zoning… I shake my head.

Tinubu is a leader that believes in building people, building bridges across different political divides and geographical regions to achieve common goals. He’s a man of vision, strategy and most importantly a political force that no man in Nigeria can match. Tinubu’s economic blueprint in Lagos reverberate all over Nigeria. His economic and political case studies are being adopted all over the place. These characteristics and ingenuity are what will make Tinubu the next president of Nigeria come 2023.

YOU CAN’T LOVE NIGERIA & WANT BOLA TINUBU AS ITS PRESIDENT

By Akin Ojumu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not a stranger to Nigerians. The man with the Grave’s Disease eyes has been around a long time. BAT is a vector of deadly viral disease of pandemic proportions. He is a parasite that takes over everything his hand touches.

The following is what Bola Tinubu did to Lagos State:

*Number 4, Oyinkan Abayomi (Formerly Queens) Drive, Ikoyi – Valued at N450 Million*
A 5-bedroom detached house on one acre of land was Lagos State Governor’s guest house since 1979
Certificate of occupancy was signed and released to Tinubu by Fashola in 2007

*26 Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi – Valued at N600 Million*
Originally claimed to be by Oando Plc Guest House, it was later acquired by Tinubu from Oando
Lagos State Government paid to rebuild and renovate, it then purchased it from Tinubu for an undisclosed sum.
Subsequently, the State handed the property back to Tinubu under the Pension Bill he signed into law shortly before Tinubu left office in 2007.

*Annex of the Lagos State Guest House in Asokoro, Abuja – Valued at N450 Million*
Bought by the State Government in 2006 to protect the main house from security breach.
Shortly after Tinubu left office, the property was transferred to him under the pension plan he signed into law before leaving office.

*250-Hectares of Land Ajah Junction, Lekki Road – Valued at N35 Billion*
Initially meant for a General Hospital, Eti-Osa Local Government
Tinubu confiscated and handed it over to Trojan Estate Ltd – a company owned by Deji and Wale Tinubu
Trojan Estate used the land to build the Royal Garden Housing Estate at the expense of the taxpayers of Lagos.

*1,000-Hectares of Land Located at Lakowe, Near Abijo, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government – Valued at N75 Billion*
Given to Lekki Concession Company owned by Tinubu and Fashola
Developed as golf course and housing estate by Assets and Resource Management Ltd

*157-Hectares Prime Land with 2.5km of Atlantic Beachfront – Valued at N10 Billion*
Appropriated by Tinubu from the communities of Siriwon, Igbekodo, Apakin in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government
Tinubu gave it to Ibukun Fakeye, one of his many cronies

*3.8 Hectare of Land in Victoria Island Next to Institute of Oceanography – Valued at N3 Billion*
It belonged to Lagos State Fisheries office, but now owned by Bola Tinubu

*Fishery Landing Jetty at Badore – Valued at N500 Million*
The Ilubirin fishermen were to be relocated here
It’s owned by Bola Tinubu

*Entire Ogudu Foreshore – Valued at N5 Billion*
The scheme initially earmarked for a low-cost housing scheme
Now owned by Bola Ahmed Tinubu

*Ilubinrin Housing Estate – Valued at N2.5 Billion*
Used to house Lagos State Civil Servants and Judges up till 2007
It’s now owned by Jagaban

*Former Julius Berger Yard at Oko Orisan, Epe – Valued at N450 Million*
This property belonged to the Lagos State Government
It’s now owned by Bola Tinubu

*Lagos State Polytechnic near Toll Gate*
Bola Tinubu kicked the Polytechnic out in 2006
Took over the property to build the headquarters of Television Continental (TVC) owned by him

*Critical Care Unit, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja*
Built and equipped with Lagos State funds
It now belongs to Bola Tinubu and run by his cousin, Dr. Sikiru Tinubu
The Care Unit generates revenue from fees paid by the State Government on behalf of patients referred there by its General Hospitals.

*14-Hectare Parkview Ikoyi Estate Foreshore Land*
Reclaimed by Lagos State Government
Now belongs to Bola Tinubu.

*Strabag Yard Next to Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja*
Tinubu took it over while in office

You cannot love Nigeria and wish a man like BAT become its president. Don’t tell me you have the interest of Nigerians at heart if you want to entrust their fate and future into the hands of a man who is a Bermuda Triangle that sucks in everything in his vicinity.

May God help Nigeria if this man ever becomes its president.

https://www.africanplume.com/2022/06/you-cant-love-nigeria-want-bola-tinubu.html

Is Tinubu the only presidential candidate in this next election. Why all these attacks on him alone? Atiku Abubakar is also contesting. The man is also as corrupt, and as old. Why are you guys not going after him? Or is the man that irrelevant?

Politics / Can Peter Obi Win Presidency With Lawan And Atiku As Candidates? by courage89(m): 6:26pm On Jun 06, 2022
The strategy of Orji Uzor Kalu and the entire South East is becoming clearer. Their goal is to support Nothern PDP and APC presidential tickets leaving Peter Obi as the only formidable Southern Aspirant. Election rhetorics will be geared towards supporting him as the best chance the south has to wrestle power from the North. Which will allow him to corner majority of southern and middle belt votes.

My questions are;
1. Can Peter Obi win the election under this circumstances, as a consensus southern aspirants?
2. Can Obi garner at least 25% votes in the North, as prescribed by the constitution?
3. Can the South Trust Peter Obi not to sell out at the last minute to Atiku and the North, considering Obi’s closeness to Atiku?
4. What are some other permutations and combinations that might happen based on above postulation?

Nova1988:
If you look at my previous post on this topic you'll see I was wayyyyy off, Things changed very unexpectedly. But now that ATIKU has won PDP primaries, it's now more clearer and possible to predict.

It all comes down to who will win APC primaries, if Tinubu wins then unfortunately Atiku is going to be president. why? you may ask, let me explain.

If Tinubu is representing APC, and Atiku PDP then atiku will win easily because the all of north will vote for ATIKU, the South West will vote for Tinubu and the South East will vote for Peter obi. The north is obviously more populated so Atiku will definitely win.

But if Tinubu doesn't win then it will be more complicated.

The way I'm seeing it, power will remain in the North. Because right now the South is too divided, igbos and Yorubas decided to insult themselves and support Tinubu and Peter obi knowing fully well that none of them stands a chance with the north(population wise).

If power eventually stays in the north then I don't want to hear any Tinubu or Peter obi supporter say that the presidency supposed to come from the South because y'all did this to yourselves. As a northerner, I seriously wanted to experience a southern president again, but y'all bleeped up.

The blame will be on you guys if Atiku doesn't do well.

Last time I checked, Kwankwaso is still in the race. Are you saying no vote for him in the north?

What exactly does this mean for these vacant position? Most of these positions will be vacated by appointees from the south. Would these positions be replaced by appointees from the south, the north, or would they be left open till the end of Buhari's tenure?

This will reduce the representation of the south in executives meetings, and other necessary meetings requiring proper representation.

Appropriation and capital spending arguments accruing to the south requires monitoring from within, hence need to have capable ministers inside. While the likes of Babatunde Fashola will remain in the cabinet for another year, I'm more concerned about the numbers.

Is this something the south should worry about?

Do you think the Northerners will see Atiku who is a Northerner and vote for GEJ?? If that happens and GEJ eventually becomes the party bearer, do you also think the west will remain loyal to the agenda...I don't even think GEJ can become the APC presidential flag bearer, because such motive won't even sale out...
If APC use Johnathan as a consensus candidate. This will further prove their objective, which is they don't care about APC / the south winning the election. Because, how do you make Johnathan, a legal liability based on eligibility your candidate?

Do we have a third force/ party, that can rescue the presidency from these two parties? These 2 major parties are vulnerable, hence the need for formidable united alliance of smaller parties to put their best foot forward and rescue the country. The time is now

This game is getting very interesting. The game plan is this; PDP will throw their contest open, Atiku becomes PDP candidate. APC Zone their ticket to the south, via concensus and gives it to Johnathan. Consensus divides political system and split votes in the south paving way for North to retain presidency.

Fear which North? Even if Buhari resigns it will be counted as Buhari regime not Osinbajo.

A person can only be sworn in twice when his term his duly served, as it is Jonathan can come for a second term.

If the North are good players they should opt for POI as he is one person who believe in the Nigeria concept and can bring about drastic change in virtually all regions of this country but NO they are looking for how and who will serve their Islamic agenda like Pantami is doing.

I agree. When Johnathan was sworn in as the president, after the demise of Yaradua. He finished Yaradua's term, campaigned and worn his first term election. He campaigned again for reelection for 2nd term and lost. Reason why he can contest again for the presidency if he wishes to do so.

If Buhari resigns today, Osinbajo will first finish his (Buhari's) term and then serve for additional 8 years.
