We all know, nothing is going to come out of this. Why waste tax payers money chasing shadows. Doesn't make any sense |
I support death penalty for Kidnappers |

Incompetency at its peak. |
Very interesting piece. We need more success stories like this now more than ever, to change the perception of our younger generation pushing to be instant millionaires/ billionaires. Wealth takes character and years to build; lot of hard work, dedication, perseverance and luck. Thank you Mr. Adedoyin for a life well spent and still going; rich of excellence, knowledge and wisdom. |
Imagine some of these leaders. They are ready to steal money from day1, but not ready for governance from day1. Federal and state constitution needs to be amended, to include time frame for ministerial and commissioners' appointments. |

When you place competency above nepotism, mediocrity...success is inevitable. |
Very laudable idea. I hope that all Yoruba states will emulate this huge and necessary initiative. |
Let them set up capital punishment law to punish kidnapping, terrorism and pen robbers. |
Should this be coming out of chief of staff office, Or SGF office? I thought the Chief of staff office coordinates activities and schedules of the presidency. While SGF manages and supervises activities of ministers, special advisers and other appointees. |
Why are they trying to shut Obasanjo up. They need to know that this man cannot be silence. Insecurity is a problem suffered by all Nigerians. Anybody speaking against security injustices, or providing solutions to all security problems will have my support. All Nigerians need to come together and battle this hydra monster regressing our economy. |

Story... I thought last administration's ministers had targets. What happened to their delivery and results? Those that did not meet target expectations, what happened to them? Were they penalized, demoted or what? What's going to be different this time around? |
Hopefully, this trend of funding attraction can continue. What we need is conducive environment for investments to thrive; riddle with low security risk, high infrastructure development, low cost of funding, high educational drive and other progressive initiatives. Investments will come, it's just a matter of time. |
Lexusgs430:Spot on bro...good marketing strategy |

I agree |
It is simply outrageous to say that our security chiefs and political leaders are yet to figure out strategy/ strategies to combat these ongoing security menace. Issues of herdsman kidnapping, fulani kidnapping, Yorubas kidnapping, ibos kidnapping can easily be quenched by creating a law to kill these people. Security risk is one of the biggest threat to economic growth in the country, foreign investments and our collective peace in the country. Let's create a death penalty law backed by the house to stop this nonsense called kidnapping. Similar law was enacted to stop drug crimes and robberies in the past. Statistically, it worked. Because, it checked these vices back then. Why is this law so difficult to create statewide and nationally? |
What's wrong with death penalty for kidnappers? This policy needs to be adopted all over Nigeria. |
Discredit the messenger, assassinate his character and ensure he deter others from doing the same. Your strategy will not work. Omoyele Sowore will bounce back, greater than ever. All your propaganda will remain what it is... trash. |
Omoyele Sowore the great. Nelson Mandela of our time |
Its funny how some people sold their conscience for a bowl of porridge. |
@ simplyleo. Please, don't sell your conscience for a bowl of porridge. |
Here we go again. Please, let's stop with these manipulation of words. Someone calls for peaceful protest to demonstrate and create awareness about the common struggle of Nigerian citizens. Everybody understands what is expected of them; they are expected to show up, walk the streets and carry placards that showcase insecurities, poverty, herdsman menace, nepotism, religious intolerance, corruption and other injustices that continue to ravage our country. How does this equates to overthrowing the government? How does this equates to act of terrorism? I'm even more surprised at the character of the people writing these propaganda. Let's not destroy our unborn children's future by selling our conscience for 1 naira. When things are these bad in our country, do we just sit idle and do nothing? Do we continue to allow these political elites to use fear, divide and conquer as an instrument to cloud our judgement from speaking the truth and acting according to the yearning of the masses? How do we call our thieving political elites to order? How do we effect and affect change for the common man? Let's remember the words of Haile Selassie of blessed memories, "Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of voice of justice when it mattered the most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph". Enough of all these propaganda. The time for action to protest against all injustices ravaging our dear country is now. Let's not sell our conscience for a bowl of porridge. Let's take a stand and support this peaceful protest. |
Tinubu will make a great president, because he will never surround himself with incompetent people. When you have competent people manning the affairs of our dear nation, success is inevitable. |
Imagine, these legislooters did their job for once and they are shouting. |
How long will it take for these ministers to have their portfolios? Only in Nigeria |
This is good. |
