Regarding University education, When I was in the Cult, my Father was an Elder and because my Younger brother was in school, a visiting C. O removed him from his position along with others in my congregation. It caused some commotion as the Elders and JWs in the congregation can be complained bitterly and the C. O was transferred elsewhere. The CO was able to wreck havoc simply because there was a lot of Tribalism, cliques and Politics in the congregation. That's how it works. There is a book for Elders which is not known by regular JWs. It is meant to be a secret book For Elders eyes only. The rule is stated there that Elders and Ministerial servants will be removed if they attend Uni or their children do. If you go to the ExJW forum on Reddit, you will see similar experiences.
