One taught the language to himself but still failed to translate a verse when he was asked to do so in a Court proceeding, showing to you the amount of Fraud these Watchtower people committed. They kept their identity for years perhaps in order to avoid criticism. But eventually their names were released. This person who Failed to translate a verse in Court was their Former president of Watchtower,Fred Franz. These are the people Jehovah's Witnesses allowed to translate and interpret the Bible for them even though they were never qualified for such. Same way a parent foolishly allows a teacher who doesn't have a degree in Mathematics and has proven to be unqualified to teach.

Dr. Julius Mantey , author of A Manual Grammar of the Greek New Testament, calls the NWT "a shocking mistranslation...Obsolete and incorrect...It is neither scholarly nor reasonable to translate John 1:1 'The Word was a god...I have never read any New Testament so badly translated as The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of The Greek Scriptures.... it is a distortion of the New Testament. The translators used what J.B. Rotherham had translated in 1893, in modern speech, and changed the readings in scores of passages to state what Jehovah's Witnesses believe and teach. That is a distortion not a translation." (Julius Mantey , Depth Exploration in The New Testament (N.Y.: Vantage Pres, 1980), pp.136-137) the translators of the NWT are "diabolical deceivers." These are from reputable Scholars who studied Biblical Hebrew and Greek languages and could see the manipulated verses in the JW Bible. Unlike the JW translators who knew nothing about the languages. It is such a shame that Watchtower went to misquote a Scholar and the scholar threatened them. No single scholar takes the New World Translation seriously. It is not a Bible. It is a JW doctrine book. Period.

Nice video. The lady raised an important question. Why don't they properly label their Translation as Bible like other Translations? Like she said, they knew that their translation would be the opposite of the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts. They have done so much changes in their translation to the point that it wouldn't be recognisable as a Bible and they knew exactly what they were doing. It was intentional. That's why it is called New World Translation meaning their own translation different from the original manuscripts. Nice play of words there.
