I have another one, from my town. He forced his wife out of the marriage, married another woman. He is in the Hall. Very True. When Jesus talked about Persecution, he said his disciples will be persecuted in his name. Are Jehovah's Witnesses being persecuted in the name of Jesus? NO. They are only punished by the governments for covering up Child Sexual abuse, for protecting pedophiles, they are taken to Court for their destructive policies in Disfellowshipping that is against fundermental Human rights. All of that is not Persecution but punishment for being a Cult and a Nuisance. The real persecution Jesus talked about is experienced by Christians in Communist countries that don't allow Christians to freely worship and Christians in Islamic countries where they have to meet to worship in hidden places. I have come across Arab Christians being persecuted. Even Christians in Israel are being persecuted too. Jehovah's witnesses are not even experiencing anything persecution compared to what those ones face.

They do this to sway JWS to discourage them from University.

Anything you tell them, they will take. University education equips you with Critical thinking skills that will help you to survive. Watchtower doesn't want that. Back in Charles Taze Russell time, JW Men were free to wear Beards as long as his own. I loved preaching and was encouraged to do tech if I wanted to and I'll be able to have time to preach more. I told my Witness Aunt 'Governing body is not my father to tell me what I should do with my life'. I regret it all now. My friends opted to learn a trade and they're preaching more and doing well in their business. School really affected me financially and spiritually. I have my spiritual goals but university education and that path won't allow me. But Jehovah appreciates those who makes sacrifices for the sake of his kingdom and many are counting their blessings


If many young ones today are quitting school to learn business or tech or other careers, what about thise making sacrifices to do God's work fully? You're just envious. Mention one JW you've seen that is a failure or near failure cos he chose not to go to the university...
