For each level in Freemasonry, as the initiates level goes higher, when he is asked that question, he says More Light. This More Light is actually More Enlightenment on hidden information which is more teachings or understanding or more hidden information. In Freemasonry, they lie to their low level members. As they get higher in ranks, what they are told begins to change. In 1st degree you are told one thing. In 2nd degree, you are told another thing contradicting what you were previously told.

In JW, there is what we call Old Light and New Light. Old Light are the Lies previously told that have now being replaced by New Ones which are New Light. This kind of teaching makes it okay for Watchtower to lie to you and give you more lies that will still be changed after a while. They won't use the word Lies. They will say Old Light
It's just like the False prophecies that were lies because they didn't come to pass. Those are Old Light. How about the teachings of Charles Taze Russell? Those are now called Old Light. How about the teachings of Rutherford? A lot of them are now Old Light because they were Lies.

So, when you have a religion that its foundation and system is all Lies branded as Old Light, JWs like Mad MaxInDHouse will Lie effortlessly because their Watch word is Lies. Understand that as long as they will continue to have Old Light, it means Lies will have no end.

The Watchtower Society has a history of lying, not only to outsiders, but to its own members! Is this Christian or Pagan? The Society tries to make it Christian by calling it “justified lying.” This doctrine is still in place down to our day.

Yes. There is a doctrine they call Theocratic Warfare. It is a process of hiding/withholding information from non JWs and even Government authorities when certain information about the Cult is demanded. They believe that it is not everything you say to an outsider. They have been using Theocratic Warfare in Courts when Child Sexual Abuse victims take Watchtower to court and when Government authorities take them to court as well.

Let me give you an instance of Lying in Watchtower. When they were questioned in Court about Disfellowshipping (shunning of JW members that are involved in wrong doing), they were asked if families of disfellowshipped people avoid them. Their Lawyer lied to say that Normal family relationships continue even though the person is disfellowshipped. The real truth is that there are talks, publications and videos in their website telling JWs to avoid disfellowshipped people even though they are part of the family. Why this case was brought to Court is that There are several cases of Suicides/murders committed by disfellowshipped persons simply because their families abandoned them as recommended by Watchtower. So, Watchtower is really embarrassed over their doctrine and what it has caused which was why they Lied in Court. But they are very bold to tell JWs something else.

And bolabizzle, let me tell you the real reason why their Governing body warned them against conversing with EXJWs.

Their Governing body do not always believe in their own doctrines. One of their Governing body members at a convention said that when they made the False Prophecy of the world ending in 1975, he never believed it and was making fun of JWs who took it seriously. There was a time their Governing body members were arguing amongst themselves whether to drop the 1914 doctrine or not because some never believed it. What does this tell you? A lot of their doctrines are made up Fantasies. The doctrines are also an insult to the intelligence of a normal Human. Once you use your Brain to analyse them, you will begin to see many loopholes in them. But they are trusting that JWs won't see these holes when they use Fear, Obligation and Guilt to force JWs to accept them without questioning.

Now EXJWs have realised the fraud in their doctrines and are able to poke or identify the holes in them. Watchtower doesn't want JWs to see the holes or else they will leave the Cult. Once someone shows a JW the errors in their doctrines and uses the most basic critical thinking skills to analyse them to a JW, he or she may see it if they have been harbouring doubts about the Governing body. This is Watchtower's biggest fear.

Another thing is that JWs are warned to stay away from arguments. Why? Because these arguments expose the foolishness of their doctrines. Watchtower leaders do not have full confidence in the way JWs will argue. If you told someone a Lie but the person wants to defend that lie in front of many intelligent people, you will warn the person not to bother defending it because you know it will bring disgrace to you. That's why your cousins said arguing brings reproach on Jehovah's name. Understand that when they say Jehovah's name, it means Watchtower. Watchtower knows the doctrines are made up and stupid. They know their doctrines insult people's intelligence. They know JWs cannot defend these doctrines properly without making up stories and Lying as you can see Mad MaxInDHouse and his fellow JWs doing in this forum .

The problem is witnesses I argue with including my cousin's say the direct opposite of all you just typed. I have attended some of your meetings and what I hear is the direct opposite of what you are saying right now. Even in your prayers, you people thank Jehovah for providing his holy spirit to the faithful and discreet slave who continue to dish out spiritual food at the proper time. From that prayer you people are claiming that the spiritual food , (Doctrines, teachings, publications etc) is from the governing body who is inspired by God's holy spirit.
Your publications have also stated that questioning or doubting spiritual food from the faithful and discreet slave is equivalent to rejecting Jehovah and his message because it is only through them that Jehovah feeds and instructs his followers on earth today.

But you've made it clear that such idea is wrong so I will do well to let your members know that such thinking is wrong. They are not inspired by God. They write and publish what they feel is correct based on their own understanding of God and the scriptures. And there is nothing wrong in not trusting them or questioning their teaching because they are imperfect like you and I.
