I hope you're enjoying the outcome of women being in control?
The society looks very cool now that women have all the rights in the world and can do as they please.
Next is to give right to kids as adults to do as they please as well.
The world would be better for it.
Where in the world are women in control? huh

Sounds like a Nollywood movie. Her husband's mother is somewhere with someone telling her about it with dramatic music in the background.

Starring Sam Maurice or Tobi Bakre as her BIL
Sola Sobowale as the MIL
Enyinna Nwigwe as her late husband
Beverly Naya as the BIL's wife

Directed by Kunle Afolayan

ETA:

Temi Otedola or Efe Irele as the widow

RomanceRe: Why Are Relationship Standards Rigged Against Men? by Cousin9999:
Some men and women weren't raised well and/or lack education, so they don't view relationships and other people normally. That's why a single (not divorced/widowed) mother of three even exists and why she expects a rich man to chase her. That's also why there are males obsessed with virginity and finding a wife 20 years younger than them.

It's also a response to sexism. The harder men make womens' lives, the colder women become.

But also, women spent generations having to rely on men for survival because law and society was so sexist. A lot of guys got women mainly for that reason.
CrimeRe: Two Nigerians Arrested With Cocaine And MDMA In South Delhi by Cousin9999: 4:40pm On May 04
Ofodirinwa:
You're not incorrect but there are places where I disagree. I don't think oyibo are causing Nigerians to be psychopathically negative about themselves and Nigeria. I think it is either genetic or rearing, but I'm not sure yet. You will get a more realistic picture of Nigeria by asking a white person who has been there than asking a Nigerian because the white person will just give you the information and the nigerian will speak for dramatic effect.
I think there's more to consider there:

The response depends on the kind of oyinbo and the purpose of their travel. Oyinbos that regularly travel there for business or who are eager to experience it are not the same as the average oyinbo. The average oyinbo is dumb and whacked out. They would not be honest.

Also, the average oyinbo is miserable and massively insecure. It bothers them to see nonblack people happy and living well. Oyinbos rave about nonwhite countries where they think the average person isn't living better than them. They'll also rave about nonwhite countries where there's a significant sex industry and where the locals are impressed by them for existing.

There is a Ugandan girl i like watching who is touring Nigeria. Her mind is blown by how nice of a country it is. But she noticed nobody she spoke to had anything good to say about Nigeria. If you give these same Nigerians a computer, a microphone or a camera, they will yap the same trash they would have yapped if you had met them on the street.
Poverty, high population, and internalized racism:

Nigeria has a population of over 240M, maybe much more than that. And there are a lot of people who have seen a level of poverty that has a strong, lasting impact. I don't think the average person is fully aware of the psychological effects of poverty. It drives people to do a lot of things if they don't get treatment.

Some people have also been brainwashed by racists. It shouldn't shock you when someone with a bleached face or who goes on and on about light skin has negative things to say about a black country. It's mental illness.

I also think that Nigerians are just passionate people. So, right or wrong, you're going to know what's on a Nigerian's mind. grin

Okay, now let's find out how many billionaires and millionaires are engaging in fraud to duck taxes. Let's ask why Congressional stock trading is legal. Let's look at all the whites, Mexicans, and Arabs scamming government assistance. Let's find out how many American politicians at the local level are stealing funding while their cities and towns rot in various ways.
CrimeRe: Two Nigerians Arrested With Cocaine And MDMA In South Delhi by Cousin9999: 12:08am On May 02
Ofodirinwa:
I agree and would like to add and element. We do it to ourselves too. Ask that same Nigerian you're describing about Nigeria and Nigerians and you'll be amazed and how loosely and adult and speak about their follow human being or country. Even look at this thread. 2 people are arrested for selling drug. Again, 4400 Americans are arrested for the same thing every day. If i start 4400 or even 2200 drugs day to document American drug issues, you will think I'm mad. But every Nigeria who is deported or arrested will be posted and make front page.

In the 00s, you could not google most Nigerian cities. Outside of the pictures oyibo people took of Lagos (slums, yellow buses), all the other pictures for any Nigerian city were dead bodies, burnt cars and pot holes. Why? Because that is all Nigeria would take pictures of and post. Its with the coming of millenials and gen-z and people decided to photograph the things they enjoy instead of roadside dead bodies. To date, if you tell nigerians abroad you're going to Nigeria to odds of someone saying you will get kidnapped is extremely high.

So yeah, people must talk about Nigeria. It's a massive country with a lot of influence and importance. But often we're the ones giving them nonsense to say because we love insulting ourselves.
You have a point, but I think there are a few things to consider:

- Oyinbos don't just try to spread propaganda themselves, they pay others to do it. Some people will do anything for money, even if it's not that much. And when you look at a "Nigerian" publication today or years ago, look at who owns it. Even if Nigerians own it, it's no different from stooge politicians. And yes, oyinbos will invest in propaganda to those extremes. I could probably write a book on all the things they do. Oyinbos also exploit the poverty they create by enlisting desperate people. Furthermore, their media and search engines have more reach, and they're going to push the narrative they want. So, the voices of Nigerians that aren't in line with the narrative can easily get drowned out. The main difference now is that the world population is much, much bigger and very connected, so it's harder to control. That's why millennials and gen z can have an impact.

- Some Nigerians who go abroad have internal struggles. Some of the things they say could be ways to cope. Some who go abroad may also not have the awareness or health to understand and accept why certain things happen in Nigeria.

- Some Nigerians may come from such a poor background that when they go abroad and experience a middle class or even working class life, it's like hitting the lottery. They're not alone in this. You see it in other immigrant groups. It's such a dramatic change that people may have odd responses to it. There can also be a bitterness there because of life experiences. Poverty is traumatic.

- Some people were just raised by ignorant people. They'd be ignorant and chatting nonsense no matter where you find them. Most people can spot them a mile away and don't take them seriously.

- I also think that a significant amount of the negative talk is a way to try to protect Nigeria. It may sound strange, but creating fear can keep a lot of awful, exploitative people away. People from other countries do this too.
CrimeRe: Two Nigerians Arrested With Cocaine And MDMA In South Delhi by Cousin9999: 10:35pm On May 01
Ofodirinwa:
For a country of 250 million people, 2 people being arrested for drug trafficking in a day is extremely low. The issue with Nigerians is we will blast every drug arrest in the media because our journalists are just gossip bloggers. 4,400 Americans are arrested on drug charges every day. 1,600,000 a year. That is 1 every 20 seconds.

If America had the same lazy evil media as Nigeria, there would be 1 of these articles every 20 seconds.

congrats to Nigeria
Exactly.

And the average person abroad sees Nigerians as hardworking people who value education and raise good kids. They see Nigerians as likely to have a business or be a landlord. They see Nigerians as well-educated and likely to have a good job.

I'm guessing what fuels all the negative stories are people who feel a bit of jealousy. Maybe they think these people are swimming in money. They're not. The average person is just getting up every day and putting in work. Someone who lives in Lagos or New York has the same things on their mind. Both are trying to do their best. People need to relax.

HealthRe: My Sister Died After Doctor Forgot Scissors In Her Stomach – Beady Nnanna by Cousin9999: 6:01am On May 01
How this happens:

https://psnet.ahrq.gov/primer/retained-surgical-items-causation-and-prevention

It happens in every country regardless of how skilled or expensive the provider.

One logical reason it happens is imagine a patient comes in and they're in bad shape, and the doctor doesn't really know the extent of what's going on in there until he/she opens them up. And then they start to work, with a patient barely clinging to life, and then something sudden happens that has nothing to do with the doctor, the patient is just damaged. Then the doctor is scrambling trying to save the person, and this is happening with any number of professionals working on someone at the same time. The human body isn't a car. It's complex and unpredictable.

Of course some of these people aren't doing what they're supposed to do. But we can't assume.

Bro, why do you even care about this woman? There's tons of single women out there who are finer and have better personalities. You should be planning your next vacation, not thinking about this woman.

You sound like a Nollywood movie. grin Are you expecting her to walk up to your expensive car in the rain with running makeup and a soaked dress begging for forgiveness? Will we get a shot of you holding a baby in the living room and her looking in and smiling from the kitchen right before the credits roll?

I'm gonna be all the way real. A lot of South Africans are black-white biracial/mixed racists. Many black people have been brainwashed by the racist one drop rule and fooled by the lip service from mixed people. They're not black, very few of them consider themselves black, and very few aren't racist. They view and behave towards black people the same way as any other nonblack racist. They may hide it well generally, but if you're paying attention, it's obvious. And they speak about black people behind closed doors in the same way racist nonblacks do.

South Africans are similar to Black Americans, but more violent. Many Black Americans are also mixed race racists. Black Americans actually used to be physically racist towards black immigrants, but then transitioned to "just" being racist.

Mixed race racists only call themselves black when it benefits them and when they don't have a choice. In America and the UK, there are certain advantages to saying they're black and they don't have the option unless they pass as white. Even if they pass, they can't get away with it. In South Africa or a Spanish speaking country, they identify as "colored" and "indio."

2 more things:

- A comedian did a bit about a ho0ker with mental health issues. He basically explained that it was commonly known by p*mps that after doing that for a certain time period, the women always have those problems. And this is a well-documented and researched medical fact.

- A gay man talked about how it's obvious which male Hollywood actors were gay ho0kers because they all become alcoholics when they're a bit older.
RomanceRe: How Do I Break My Masturbation And Brothel Addiction? by Cousin9999: 10:10pm On Apr 24
a man’s sexual appetite is meant to lead him out of himself, to lead him into being a self-gift that both completes and corrects his personality—first by sharing whole-life oneness with a lover and second by procreating children. With masturbation, however, the appetite is turned in on itself and ‘sends the man back into the prison of himself, there to keep a harem of imaginary brides’.
Sex buyers have described prostitution as like “renting an organ for 10 minutes”...this experience serves to dehumanise the women, and the effects of this are wide-ranging, including depression, su*cidality, post traumatic stress disorder, dissociation, substance abuse, eating disorders and more.
Why Pr0stitution is Not “Sex”
...The presence or absence of mutuality is the determining factor in a psychologically and emotionally healthy sexual exchange, not consent.
Why Pr0stitution is Not “Work”
Not every activity which is compensated should be dignified by the terms ‘employment’ and ‘work.’...prostitution is an irredeemable form of exploitation and in no meaningful way comparable to actual work.

Read this book. This book should be read by every man. It breaks down, with hard science and common sense, why there's nothing good, sexy, or manly about any kind of commodification of sexuality, and it exposes the very harsh reality of what happens within that "industry":

UAE exists on the back of actual slavery.

Slavery, the kafala system, is legal throughout the arab world.

People try to make that place look glamorous when they're doing horrible things to people, especially black men, women, and children.

And you're celebrating their countries when they call black people all kinds of things. They do things the average white person doesn't. There are literal white racists that wouldn't do some of the things these people do casually.
