the first one, you can go for the Hrm (human resource management ) and project management training...you can also train yourself if you are someone good in self learning as their are video tutorials and materials you can download online. there is this pmp whatsapp group I created and lectures v bin goin on there - we do share ideas and materials in diffrnt topics under pmp and I myself, v bin gainin alot dere

secondly, you can gain employment as an HR in different companies(u know they r the ones in charge of staff management, recruitment, salaries and benefits, etc)...Google to get more info

thirdly, I worked with an ICT nd Management institute whr we train corpers. It was dere I got the full insight nd experience on how to run the business

He continued “please give me a job, any job. I will work for free for three months if you want. Please!”. Desperation oozed from his thin frame.

He must have thought I owned the place. “No vacancy” slipped from my lips. He looked at me, fought back tears and snatched his papers. He trudged on.

I watched him go. My aunt who owed the store this masters degree holder is begging for a job didn’t go to any university. Her business is worth over thirty million naira. She always told me the university is a cage that force you to sit behind a desk for four years so you’ll be qualified to sit behind another desk for forty years.

She said university will teach you to look for jobs but never create one. It will teach you yo work for a living but never have a life. I sat. I thought.

She had blamed the craze on the oil boom in the seventies. Then, graduates were entitled to cars and automatic jobs.

She said people still live in that delusion. She told me the richest man alive is a college dropout who followed his dream.

She asked what my dream was. She said ” do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”. I am convinced, college degrees are overrated.

Well said but I think you are only trying to differentiate between a sole proprietorship and a corporate organisation (Limited liability company). Self employment and entrepreneurship both fall under sole prop. but all your explanation about entrepreneurship is just that of a limited liability coy.

Although your points are clear but you definition of an entrepreneur is what I do not agree with.

This is not a very smart or well thought out article.

Every entrepreneur is self employed. Trying to paint both as two different things is just nonsense.

The OP is actually talking about the same thing but making the mistake of comparing a business during 2 different stages. The reason why the "entrepreneur" in your article wont go to work or will outlive his business is because he/she scaled it from a small entity to a big one.

What u called self employment is small scale enterprise which can grow to what u called the entrepreneurship (large scale enterprise)
What's the most important is the vision u started a business, there friends started a salon
Friend A wants the biggest salon in his locality
Friend B wants a league of salon in different
place in the city
Friend C wants a salon with branches all over the major cities in the world offering same service

All of them are entrepreneurs but there vision is different u can't call one self employment and the other entrepreneur
