sambos994: This whole forum was nice until you came here...
Yeah I bet it was because you were busy wasting Andrew's military brain, by pretending that you were here for a military discussion, when none of you were.

You all wanted to talk about South Africa so you could forget about Lagos.

We see you.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by CraigB: 6:50pm On Jun 20, 2013
sambos994: Come to Nigeria. You will even see a child hawking on the streets making $10-$20 on a good day.
Which is why you are hapless.

Seeing as you people cannot debate or research, here is an article which shows why you should not brag that: "You will even see a child hawking on the streets making $10-$20 on a good day." This is a telltale sign of uselessness and disorganisation. "Intelligent people". Yeah right!

when did you south africans on nairaland become a better researcher than world bank ?

world bank rejects nigeria poverty rate reports

Quote :

Even the World Bank has repeatedly said it has no confidence in the poverty index reports regularly issued by the Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) which recently released its National Poverty Index report, because "there is no reliable data with which to correctly measure the decline or increase in Nigeria’s poverty rate."

weblink source

http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/issues-in-the-new-poverty-report/137011/

Current minimum wage in Nigeria is about $4 a day, but world standard poverty line is about $1 a day.

minimum wage in nigeria is 4 times bigger than world standard poverty line

the above quote settles the dispute of poverty rate figures, nigeria wins again !

.
Even more embarrassing conduct from a "so-called researcher", who says he "has an MBA". Yeah, right.

We showed how he:

a) cannot sustain or repel an argument by following a clear path;

b) cannot bring a debate to its logical conclusion (he gets lost in the middle of it and goes off on a tangent); and

c) how basic things like patents, copyrights, weapon copies and variants allude him (something every researcher should have a grasp of).

Now to add onto his academic crimes, the so-called researcher cannot read an article and extract proper meaning from it.

The point of this "ThisDay" link that he posted is not that "World Bank Rejects Nigeria's Poverty Rates Reports." No - that's not the point.

The point is as follows (and I quote from his very own link):"

"Even the World Bank has repeatedly said it has no confidence in the poverty index reports regularly issued by the NBS becausethere is no reliable data with which to correctly measure the decline or increase in Nigeria’s poverty rate.” _ This Day

That is the point..

If anything, this shows Naai-geria's haplessness. Naai-geria has no reliable stats for anything. It's run like a South African spaza shop, by people who claim to be qualified, when they clearly aren't. People who cannot even read a simple article without being lost in the content.

I shake my head!

Hezron Lorraine: my thoughts exactly.i duuno why they keep derailing this thread.pschopathetic nuisance.
It was all wonderful, happy and dandy when you were speaking about South Africa for pages and pages. Now that South Africa is speaking for itself, you aren't having fun anymore. Boo-hoo, I say. A military thread that's 95% about one country? Yeah right. You brought this South African avalanche on yourselves when you hid behind pseudo-military commentary in an attempt to lift up your spirits, which are heavy because of the state of Lagos.

NaijaPikinGidi: No social progress? Go tell that to your
Thought you said "non-military" stuff was not going to get to you? grin What happened now? You've been beaten up to the point of confusion? Lost at sea, are you? grin grin grin grin

No ability to sustain arguments on the Naai-gerian side. grin
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by CraigB: 4:23pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Any talk not military
Why do you fight wars if not for societal progress? You have no societal progress. So what good is your inexperienced military?. You ventured on a path leading you to heartache when you decided to sit in Hillbrow and throw stones at us. cheesy

Now you're crying.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by CraigB: 3:45pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Talk the military talk...
Upset because you've come up short. No. You've come up shot. Two posts ago you weren't talking "military", were you? Now that you've been hurt, you want to shed tears. We see you.

You've been taken exactly where you wanted to go when you decided to talk about South Africa. This is reality. No simulating this. Pirates and refugees. "Smartness" and no results. Barrels and barrels of oil, but Naai-geria is a mess. Show me an oil-producing nation with your levels of reserves that suffers as much as you do. Please - and then explain what business you have got talking about soldiers in that scenario?
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by CraigB: 3:27pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: BORN and BRED NIGERIAN to the CORE !
Well, if I were so childish, you would've ignored me. But you can't ignore hard hitting truths.

Born in Naai-geria, maybe. But clearly in the process of being bred in Hillbrow. And you're hating what you've become grin

So you sit here trying to salvage whatever patriotic pride is still left in you.

Don't worry. You aren't the only one. Lagos in uninhabitable. So, don't hate yourself for being one of gazillion Naai-gerian economic refugees in the diaspora wink

We are glad we could feed you in South Africa . Please don't hate on us.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by CraigB:
I see all sorts of the usual talk here:

Nigeria no dey carry last (or whatever that is)

South Africa - lazy bloodie blah

Nigeria smart - bloodie blah
_______________

Where are the results, I ask?

Once you are done talking, show us the results of your work, will you?

Oh, I know! There aren't any. It's just talk. Whatever money you make is pilfered by your "smart" office bearers. The only poor large oil producer in the world, is Naai-jeria. But, no, they are apparently hardworking and clever. Something doesn't gel.

And then someone said "we brought peace" to Africa? Where did Nigeria bring peace? I see now that like every other basket case in Africa, you're exporting conflict refugees to Cameroon and Niger - messing up and destabilising an already challenged West African region. Is that the peace that you brought to Africa? .

Pausing on that, I see that you've overtaken Somalia as the chief piracy region in the world? Is this the peace that you brought to Africa? Attacking unsuspecting seafarers?

Nothing said by Naai-gerians can be backed up by tangible results. It's all just talk.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by CraigB:
NaijaPikinGidi: Twisting words, facts and all things true and attempting to derail the focus
Oh cry me a river, Naijapigoon-goon. You're upset now because it's getting a tad uncomfortable here for you. The thread is going exactly where you people wanted it. Now you're unhappy with the focus of the light.

Trying to act as though you're military commentators, which none of you are. Some have even gone as far as to fabricate professions in true Naai-gerian fashion.

The funniest thing on this thread is Naijapigoon-goon. Clearly a Hillbrow resident who's been South Africanned out. A person who's shown what he thinks about the doom that's Lagos by living it for the pastures of Johannesburg.

Nothing you say will change the fact that you've found refuge in Johannesburg! You've shown your contempt for Lagos and now you're here trying to get yourself to feel better.

Cry about it, why don cha?

Msauza: FACT!!! Nigeria has never fought any country.
agaugust: .

every country is afraid to fight Nigeria. FACT !!!
The "student of all things military" sinks to new lows.

Let's see. Given that the US of A is in wars every single year and Nigeria is not, the countries of the world are more afraid of the Naai-geria than they are of the US?

The same US that Naai-geria is puppet to, by the way.

SMH at the usual empty sayings of Naa-geria. undecided

Fact is - Naai-geria has only fought toy soldier wars - in simulations put together by an aspirant but not accomplished "researcher".

souldust: @kwame Nigeria's cultural influence across the continent is being discussed by the BBC. Sorry ghana or SADafrica wasnt the topic. You can go to the weblink below to see responses.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/africahaveyoursay/2010/09/how-deep-is-nigerias-cultural.shtml
The crisp issue was:

On Friday Nigeria will mark 50 years of independence.

___________

At which point I say: You should be ashamed! After 50 years of independence in 2010, only your supposed cultural influence could be discussed. Even the title was speculative. "Just how big", it was asked. 50 years!

No discussion about economic influence.

No discussion about political influence.

No discussion about military influence.

No discussion about scientific influence.

No discussion about...

Ag man. 50 years! And this is all the BBC had to work with? A picture of a man blowing a long horn? shocked That's it? What a shame!

This is exactly my point. You people are grasping at straws in your quest to talk the reality of Lagos away. That you even feel you can post this "achievement"...SMH

Oh, consequently, South Africa was hosting the FIFA word cup that year. grin

No wishy-washy write-ups. No speculation about who South Africa was. Instead, all eyes were on us. grin

More shameful conduct from a so-called researcher. Can't argue. Can't sustain a debate with a clear path and authority.

1. The F-7 - a Chinese brand jet was called cr*ap. An accusation you have clearly accepted as true and moved on from.

2. Now, you post articles which talk about the Chinese manufacturing sector.

The difference between 1 and 2 is simple

1 = the F-7

2. = the Apple computer and the iPhone.

The common denominator is China, but the difference is obvious.

Again, what kind of a researcher are you? grin grin Lost in the middle of a debate.

No debating skills. No research skills. No military industry knowledge.

It doesn't matter what it started off as. Where is Frosbel by the way?

1. He abandoned his own thread.

2. Never mind that - why did the thread get kicked out of the political section?

3. Oh, and how many people have come on here to say that the thread is sh*t?

You know why 1, 2 and 3 happened? Because the thread is exactly what I say it is. A "please-let's-talk-about-South-Africa-so-we-can-feel-better" thread. Pretty much like the other threads here. wink

By the way, 100% of my posts are on "South African" threads, this being one of them. 80% South Africa is this thread. No, 95% South Africa is the thread. Understandable though. Africa is 95% South Africa. The piles and piles of research on us are #nuffsed stuff. grin

Lovely.

The "let's please compare ourselves to South Africa" o*rgy continues. Ok, how can we help you feel better about the state of Lagos today?

Thank you for researching our lovely country, by the way. We've been repeatedly saying we are the main subject of the thread and the cause of many a sleepless night suffered by "researchers" and common Lagosians alike. Research us to the point of dying, they do. No rest.

Wonderful. How many hours did you spend on that?

That much is obvious.

All in the guise of military commentary. They've spent 90% of their time talking about South Africa and then they claim they are coming from a place of informed commentary. Pull the other one, I say.

This is a "feel-good-about-ourselves-because-we-hate-Lagos" thread. Nothing "military" about it.

And now that their "informed" posts have been found wanting and their claims to intelligence dealt a harsh blow, they have decided to resort to simulation.

agaugust: many guns copied AK-47, including the FN-FNC of belgium and israeli Galil, so i am still very correct
Threatening me with being ignored like I care.

Fact is, if you were a true scholar of the industry, you'd grasp the following basic concepts:

Concept 1: Sustaining or repelling primary arguments - in this case, being that F-7 jets are cheap cr*p.
Concept 2: Copyright vs Patent (It's a basic thing that all researchers in the industry should know).
Concept 3: A copy vs a variation
Concept 4: The influence of the AKA in the industry and therefore, who has borrowed what from it.
Concept 5: The link between the R-series rifles and the Israeli Galil.

Concept 1 - Fail
Concept 2 - Fail
Concept 3 - Fail
Concept 4 - Fail
Concept 5 - Fail

Fraud. Exposed by your own countryman. Ignore that, will you. kiss

south africans, do you still blame china ? you like in a glass house, dont throw stones shocked shocked shocked

.
"Fake Researcher", never mind that you've been found wanting and your research skills cast in the shadow of doubt, now you've lost yourself in the middle of a debate, because you don't know how to formulate and stick to an argument. You've tied yourself in knots:

Here's the debate (not this wilderness that you're wandering in):

Naai-jeria: "the F-7 Jets are top jets"

South Africa: "No, they aren't. You were silly to even look at them!"

Naai-geria: "No I wasn't"

South Africa: "Yes you were! You bought cheap Chinese copies"

Naai-geria: "China is ranked 3rd and South Africa in the 30s"

South Africa" "oh, the same China that's been caught trying to copy South Africa's weapons? shocked"

So we pause here, because you've been lost. Your argument is in pieces grin

The point is that the China that you love so much finds value in South Africa's creations. No one is blaming China right now. We shall do that another day. Instead, we are saying to you that you cannot use China's ranking against South Africa because China loves our products to the point of trying to copy them.

Secondly, the point is also that South Africa is entitled to call the F-7 jets cr*ap given the above. The jets that you bought are rubb*sh Chinese copies. If they were Russian copies, we could talk and perhaps consider your views. But they are rubb*sh.

What kind of a researcher are you, dude? grin grin grin grin Can't even sustain a simple argument. You're all over the place.

Now, moving along - even the off-on-a-tangent argument that you are on is clearly off-the-mark, as your own countryman has exposed you on three counts!

grin grin grin You do not know the difference between a copy and a variation. You do not know the difference between a copyright and a patent. You do not know the difference between an R-series rifle and the Russian Kalashnikov. You do not know the difference between a hummer and South African vehicles. Basically, you do not know the industry that you claim to be a scholar of.

You are a fraud. Like Gibson of Lagooosss, who tried to get into London by claiming he's 15 when he was in fact 35. grin

Donian007: REVELATION! THE "R4, R5 AND R6 RIFLE"(SOUTH AFRICA) IS A DIRECT MODIFIED "IMI GALIL" RIFLE(ISRAEL). SOURCE: WORLD GUNS: ......The slightly modified Galil rifle is manufactured by the South African Vektor Company, a division of the DENEL. Those models include the R-4(Galil AR), R-5(Galil SAR), R-6(Galil MAR) assault rifles, and are used by the South African Military. Weblink: www.world.guns.ru/assault/isr/galil-e.html
Aaah! Nice revelation. So, in other words, the Russian AK47 story is Bolluks? Wow, thank you Donian007 for further discrediting your researcher.

If you go back a few posts, you'll see why he was told to go to sleep grin. He'd said the Russian AK47 and Rs are copies of each other. Lovely and thank you.

Now, he also said the Rs are being made without "copyright" (he said) - confusing copyright and patent law shocked (some researcher in the land of "intelligent" people)

Now, your lovely "revelation" leads to a sweet little read about modified weapons that are manufactured under licence. What might those weapons be?

Thank you very much, Donian. I did say your fake researcher got his degree from a Naai-gerian university.

You, on the other hand have just become the hapless chap who's given the family jewels away. You proved your fake researcher wrong on all three counts.

What is it with Naai-gerians and fake credentials anyway? Fake credentials. Fake intelligence (proof being you right now). Fake achievements.

grin grin grin

Oh before we forget, we haven't forgotten about the hapless Chinese jets that Naai-geria bought, which started the whole discussion in the first place. I see the boast around the jets has been abandoned. Rightly so, I say.
