If you really like him so much, the only reason that you should hold back is if you are not sure that he likes you that much. I think it is sweeter when he shows you first how much he likes you. I had to teach myself how not to be too forward. I used to be too forward. If I like a guy, I would be like hey, I like you. The next thing, we are kissing. I used to be very forward but I have had to calm down and understand that sometimes, regardless of how you are feeling, you want to hold back” she said

PoliticsAmerica-first! What Nigerian Leaders Need To Learn From Trump's Speech by craix(op): 8:18am On Sep 21, 2017
The speech deliver by US President Donald Trump was seriously a bold and courageous one. honestly I believe Trump is a man of his words and a man who has his people at heart.

He said, "As president of the United States, I will always put America first. Just like you, as the leaders of your countries,i will always and should always put your countries first".

"Put America first" has been one of his popular saying.

He is a truly leader with great purpose, most leaders in Africa particularly Nigeria can't keep their words because their focus is on their own personal interest not the interest of the people.

How many Nigerian leaders can have the courage to say my interest is the interest of my people? We have series of promises by our leaders during and after Elections, some will even make promises that will make you will believe that the days of darkness have ended.

Well, for me as an ordinary Nigerian I believe our leaders need to wake up from their sleeping beds and act.
After all the future and success of a nation lays on the hands of those in authority.

Recall Paul took to his Instagram to drop what seem to be a shade directed at his brother’s wife. He wrote:

“Back to naija. Don’t take my silence for granted…. only a woman can come where there’s peace and destroy it. #youknowyourself …try me this time… I swear Nyash go open you will know that blood is thicker and stronger than juju”

….and then Peter’s wife, Lola wrote:

Good evening my lovelies….please leave footprints of kindness and love wherever you go. Love is the only way and peace of mind is the ultimate goal in this life of ours. Hate has no place in my world, never has, never will..Have a blessed evening! #preachlovenothate #superwoman #thankfulnomatterwhat #humilityisthenewsexy #Godblessusall #proudlynigerian #proudlyrussian #proudlyafrican #proudlyyoruba

Celebrities“I Won’t Date Simi Until She Apologizes For Saying Nigerian Men Are Not Romantic by craix(op): 12:41pm On Sep 18, 2017
One of Nollywood Biggest actor Uche Maduagwu has say he can never date singer Simi who recently blast Nigerian men for not being romantic.

The actor suggest the 'Jamb Question' singer should apologise for saying such statement concerning Nigerian men.

The Nollywood actor added by saying;

“I don’t believe Nigerian men are romantic. I think Nigerian men do not think they have to be romantic. I am not saying this to bash men but I think no one pushes Nigerian men to fight for anything so they have this sense of entitlement.

I was watching a Nigerian movie one day and there was this unfaithful Nigerian man who left his wife for another woman. At the end of the day, the other woman left him and he retraced his steps to his initial wife. The lady’s mother actually told her to kneel in front of the man and that bothered me a lot even though I knew it was a movie. That is the way things are.

“A lot of men grow up in this country feeling entitled to certain things and they believe that they don’t have to work for anything. This has been the case for generations and a lot of our mothers were unhappy because the society expected them to stay in the relationship.

I am not saying it is the right thing for people to leave their relationships but a man needs to fight for what he wants so he can value it. I think the problem is because a lot of Nigerian men feel self-entitled and I blame our culture and our mothers. Most mothers are the problem because when something happens, they are quick to advise the daughter and wives, they don’t tell the men that their actions are wrong. So if a man feels that he does not have to fight to keep the relationship, he would not.”

The actor disagree with her, defending and saying Nigerian men are over-romantic. He say the singer must apolozised for saying such statement.

He also posted on his Instagram;

I’ll think about dating you if you apologize for saying Nigerian men are not romantic… @symplysimi That’s wrong, Nigerian men are very #romantic, in short, “over romantic” is worrying some of us…

Its only in #Nigeria, that you will see a man who doesn’t have much, but will still try his best to make sure his #girlfrienduses a better and more expensive #phonethan he does, is that not #romantic? @symplysimi

Honestly, you are one of the most #beautiful female singers in Nigeria, and that’s because you have a very unique sound which i feel makes you stand out, but i am the #biggest actor in Nigeria too, and i will only think about dating you if you apologize to Nigerian #men… Please nobody should beg me. #repost #music#nollywood #regrann #share #naija #pics#girls #fas

CelebritiesPatoranking Revels How He End Up Sleeping In The Streets Of Ghana by craix(op): 9:54am On Sep 16, 2017
Nigerian Afro-beat singer,Patoranking, recently had a chat with Cool FM Lagos, the artiste reveled about his life before stardom, he traveled to Ghana in search for a better life only to end up sleeping on the streets of Ghana.

“Nigerians are very powerful people and if they like your song, you are likely to be a success in Africa. There was a point in my life that I travelled to Ghana in search of greener pastures but I ended up trekking and sleeping on the streets. I decided to come back to Nigeria. Then I released ‘Alubarika’ and ‘Girlie O.’ Both songs were a hit and in no time, I was invited to perform in Ghana, Kumasi Stadium to be precise. When they came to pick me, I counted the number of cars and it was 13. I was very surprised but was grateful to God,” he said.

Patoranking disagree with his music mate, Mr Eazi, who had once said that Ghanaian music was far better than Nigerian music claiming that majority of Nigerian artistes are using his style of music.

“We have been having this cultural exchange with Ghana way back since the time Tuface sang ‘My love’ which featured VIP from Ghana. Tic Tac and Tony Tetuila sang ‘Fefe ne efe.’ The musical cultural exchange between Nigeria and Ghana has been going on even before I finished secondary school. It is false for Mr. Eazi to say he started that style of music because he did not help me sing my hit song, ‘My Woman.’ I did it myself and the song is a global hit song. It is the biggest afrobeat song in the Caribbean. I do not agree with his statement. It is wrong.”

Celebrities“thank You For Always Being There For Me”—rosaline Meurer by craix(op): 7:46pm On Sep 15, 2017
Nollywood Actress, Rosaline Meurer is grateful over certain things that has happened in her life at age 25, despite losing her father at age 9. She also thanked Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill for being there for her and her family.
She wrote;

“It never even crossed my mind to turn pro already at the age of 25 with great achievements that you at 40 can’t even boast of a quarter.

I was never ready to do anything, Grew up with all of the luxuries life had to offer anyone. I always thought I would continue to be a spoilt kid, daddy’s little girl, Mommy’s handbag, got whatever she wanted whenever she wanted just by bending my neck or pointing at stuff and giving my puppy eyes and everything just came whether I needed it or not but life has a way of molding you into what you least expect.

Loosing a parent at the age of 9 was the beginning of reality when things just went from 100 to 50 which meant not everything would be as rosy cuz I had two younger ones that my mom had to take care of as well and I was the first child which means sacrifices and more responsibilities Grew up faster than my age and I was fortunate enough to have the right people around me, supporting and advising me, encouraging me and teaching me how to grow into a strong woman.

That’s when @bigchurchhaven said to me “if you want to enjoy the luxuries of life, if you want to be successful, you have to work hard for it, you have to be determined, you need to focus, you need to stop being a baby, you need to make a move and do what you love the most” he said you have your younger ones looking up to you and sooner or later you will have to take charge and take care of your family. He told me few reality stories of him and other people he knew and it inspired me a lot.

So today I can proudly say I didn’t just turn a Queen, I’ve been a Queen from birth sent from heaven with a great purpose in life to perform good deeds and touch as many lives in the littlest ways that I can.
I am grateful to God cuz he never for once abandoned me or put me to shame at any point in my life. I appreciate God and he knows that I do.

I don’t live the holier than thou life but I have God inside of me and I know he knows my heart. Sooooooooo long story short I just want to appreciate God for strength, I want to appreciate my mother, my siblings for their love and understanding and also my boss Mr Churchill for being there for me and my siblings over the years. ”

fan base and not really trying to cross over into America.

He further added that although he idolizes Fela, he is not trying to live like the late legendary singer.

On being labeled the face of Afro-beats:
I’m not really seeing myself as the one champion of the movement. I’m just contributing my own little part. Keep the movement moving, and take it there, you know?

I’d say we make Afro-pop. I don’t just make Afro-beats… I make music. I draw inspiration from all over. From dance hall reggae, Afro-beat, American music as well. Whatever I listen to, I draw inspiration from.

On the lofty expectations from his music on the international scene:
The aim is not really to cross over. I just want to make good music for the world. It’s really not in my mind to cross over to America. I have my own fan base, which is Africa. And I just want to keep feeding that fan base and hope it grows.

EducationThe Increment Of School Fees In The University Of Jos by craix(op): 11:23pm On May 09, 2017
Education in Nigeria is becoming an expensive commodity, which is reserved only for the rich. In recent time the education sector has witnessed an increase in the fees ranging from Tuition, Hostel, Accreditation and Acceptance fees.

We have witnessed the increase in school fees of state and federal universities e.g. Lagos, Anambra, Abia, Jos and others.
The increment fees is something usual in the University of Jos, the last school fees increment was on
December 2014, where the former Vice-chancellor of Unijos, Prof. Hayward Magayi, announced an increase of school fees. The student union Executive Committee (Excos) rejected the increment by the Vice-chancellor.

University of Jos for many years have been one of best institutions in the country, the university over the years have witnessed, academic excellencies both home and abroad. Despite its academic excellencies, the tertiary institution has been facing some management issues (ASUU) and protest over the years.

The rejection of the increment school fees lead to a student protest, Unijos students opposed the school management decision and call for reduction of school fees. Instead of the school management to reduce the school fees, they order military men to chase the students out of their hostels which lead to suspend of academic activities.

Just recently shareholders meeting in the university, Vice-chancellor of Unijos, Prof. Sebastian Makwio, announced an increase in school fees again from N27, 000 to N45, 000 for the new session according to a circular send by the Federal Government that all federal universities should charge not above N45, 000 as school fees.

Despite all this increment of school fees in the University of Jos over the years, there been no enough lectures halls, library books are outdated, and some hostels still need innovation especially (Abuja and Village hostel), lack of internet connection (Wi-Fi), poor security in the hostel and others.

The university of Jos management needs to utilized its resources for the betterment of the institution, some projects in the university still need funded and some facilities need to be updated, because some of them are outdated.

The University management needs to complete some projects that are abdomen in the school. It’s not by increase school fees, but by use the school fees to build the school.

University of Jos can still be the best and it can come to those glory days, when it was respect and adored by other tertiary institutions in the country

Music/RadioDjs Are Richer Than Artistes In Nigeria — DJ Shabzy by craix(op): 9:22am On Apr 29, 2017
Kiss Daniel's officially DJ,DJ Shabzy, said Nigerian DJs are richer than Nigerian Artistes because DJ save money compare to artistes, who spend their money to maintain their celebrity status. DJ Shabzy who is DJ to 'Mama' crooner Kiss Daniel and G-worldwide label mate sugarboy.

The DJ who told Showtime in an exclusive chat, Artistes spend heavy extravagantly to maintain their identity and status in the music industry but DJs didn't waste their money like that, they lived a sample life.

He added by said, “As a matter of fact when you talk about the revenue in the music industry; DJs get to save much more than the artistes, I’m not talking about the A’list artistes now, I’m talking about the average artistes that are known. I can tell you that DJs probably earn much more and save more than the artistes because DJs get to go for shows back to back; our standard of living is less to what the artistes will have to live on. Artistes want to change clothes every minute but DJs don’t really have reasons to go into that kind of lifestyle, because we have the name out there but less is to the identity, so it saves us much than the artistes. We are doing better than them, I’m not top notch, but I’m doing fine.”

He also pointed out a key area the music industry needs to urgently address before it erodes the very essence and credibility of the creative craft. He told Showtime that in his experience in the music industry, some artistes personally pay people to pirate their own songs, just to spin a web of controversy that will promote it. He said; “One thing I think artistes in Nigeria are doing that is not so cool and needs to be addressed is going to the extent of paying people to pirate their own songs all in the name of promotion.” In his opinion, he strongly believes artistes should allow their works speak for themselves instead of cutting corners.
