CelebritiesCossy Ojiakor Reveled How She Was Offered N30,000 To Sleep With A Dog by craix(op):
Cossy Ojiakor reveled how she was offered N30,000 not $10,000 to have sex with a dog in a movie – Chico Ejiro’s movie Itohan.

She told her parents about the offer, how they were teated after that infamous dog scene that gained the actress fame in the movie industry.

“I should have reported each and every pastor that defamed me during the dog saga. Yes they preached during the ordeal,” the actress recounts. “I was hurting. I was alone. I was a poor little girl trying to find her way. Trying to understand life. I was called all sorts of names.”
Cossy who also said, how her role in the movie 'Itohan.' cause her image and her career.

“Pastors preached. The congregation moaned and rain curses to the name that brought shame to womanhood. My mum was in church somewhere in Abuja. The pastor preached about this fake sermon. The lust after money… The girl that slept with dog just for $10,000 dollars.

Who is she then to challenge the pastor… Well she was just the mother to the girl that supposedly slept with dog. She simply left the church and never went back,” said the actress who also set the records straight: she was only paid N30,000 for the role in the movie.

Cossy Ojiakor went to put her father through hell “They gathered in the church and went to my village house to rain curses on the girl who brought immense shame to the church and the village. My father knew it was just a movie. So never really cared,” she said.

SportsSports Betting:as Become A Source Income And Ruining Lives Of The Nigerian Youth by craix(op): 7:28pm On Mar 26, 2017
Football has become more than a game, it has brought Nigerians together, it Brought unity among lovers of Football. It is no longer news that Nigerian youths engaged in sports betting for source of income.
Sports betting is said to have started in North America and parts of Europe. It is described as the activity of producing sports results to win a sum of amount of money.
According to Bellanaija.com, Nigerian youths spend over N1.8 billion Daily to sports betting, more Nigerians youths especially; undergraduate students, unemployed and secondary students. They patronized sports betting companies by placing a sum of money to bet for their favorite team and others.
Many football fans who support their teams for free, now believe that they can make a fortune from predicting scores, match results and others. Football and other games such as dog racing, horse racing, Car racing and NBA basketball etc. are played almost on daily bases in Europe and other parts of the world and Nigerian Youths place bets on them.
On Match-days, viewing centers in the country are usually full with passionate fans watching their favourite team and football fans log in to Livescores.com, check match results and live scores and matches. They usually holding a white piece of paper popular known as ‘ticket’, the “ticket” are printed copies of selected games on which bets are place and an amount of money for potential winnings.
In less than a decade, the sport betting industry has witness success and massive growth. In sport betting, you can bet with a minimum of N100 and win a large amount of money. All you have to do is to select the team that will win, draw or number of goals scored in the match and you can place your bet through your mobile and a code will be given to you, you then go to a close betting shop and the cashier will print a paper for you showing the games you place your bet and potential winnings.
Some Undergraduate students in tertiary institutions stake their savings as well as their school fees and in the process, deny their welfare in school. The rush is increasing but sport betting is addictive because the same students who lost will return the next day to bet, believing to recover the lost money while other students that won will return to play for more money.
Most Nigerian especially unemployed youths believed sports betting have become a means of making money. Since there is high rate of unemployment in the country, some youths have turned betting shops to their normal place as they would gather as early as 8am as from 3pm,6pm,8:45pm.
Watching and following football matches are longer just to while away recreational time as a late winning goal scored in a football match is meal.
Employment issues, the rate of poverty and economic recession in the country mean that the chance to earn a living from sports betting can hardly be ignored. According to reports, 60% of population lived in absolute poverty, an average Nigerian live below the poverty line of $1 a day and any activity that can turn a small amount of money into large sums will always be appealing.
Since the beginning of the sports betting industry, there have been competition in the industry with emerged of many sports betting companies like Nairabet, saharabet, Bet9ja, 1960Bet and so many others.
If you have been to a sports betting viewing Centre or have been to a sports betting shop, you will agree with me that sports betting is gradually eating deep into the minds of our youth that they are beginning to see it as ‘Business as usual’. This trend of ‘I want to make money’ has affected the mind of the youths.
Naij.com posted a shocking story some years back about a shop betting, where a guy name Shina who won the sum of N3 million via football prediction. He decided to buy a Benz car which cost him N1.8Million. But unfortunately, he kisses the dust (Die).
It was reported that Shina took his friends to a beer parlor where they all got drunk and on their way home, they had an accident in which only a lady survived among the six people inside the car. The saddest part of story is that Shina is the only child of his parents.
The danger of sports betting is more than its advantages, because betting is structured in a way that if you win, you will be tempted again to bet more and by so doing, you have lost all you earn.
My advice to those involved is Sports Betting should quit, because when you started Betting. It becomes addictive and difficult to stop. The youth in the country, ‘should think outside the box’ and be industrious for the betterment of the society and the country.

Nairaland GeneralA Five Years Old Girl Pregnant In Jos,plateau State. by craix(op): 12:07am On Dec 16, 2016
An incident which can aptly be tagged as most outrageous happened in the north central state of Plateau, Nigeria. In a remote and sleepy hamlet of Kanke local government, a little girl of Five was found to be pregnant.

According to the child's parents, the perpetrator of the bizzare act is not known but the police has begun an inquiry with the view to fathom the identity of the mystery man or men behind the heinous crime.

Speaking further, they Father of the girl told newsmen that until few months ago,the poor child began to complain of excruciating pains in her groin which they didn't pay commensurate attention to.

After a while, they noticed that her breasts were developing, all of which they attributed to early adolescence precocity. Their fears was confirmed after tests were carried out on her when they noticed her protuberant tummy.

They pregnancy test came back with a positive verdict. The locals and family of the girl are still in a state of shock which is quite rational considering the girl's age and biological placing. We contrived to get a photo of the victim and we present it to you for your own perusal and appraisal.

EducationThe Inner Voice Of Students:Economics Department Unijos In Abuja Hostelcafeteria by craix(op): 3:57pm On Dec 14, 2016
Cafeteria is defined as a dining area in an institution where meals may be purchased or brought in from elsewhere. During the 70s and 80s, the Abuja hostel cafeteria was a place where students of university of jos go to have meals after lectures.

But now the Abuja hostel cafeteria has turned into a common room for students living in Abuja hostel university of jos , students in the hostel use the place to read and study their books during the day and night for their preparation.

But since the fire incident that gutted the university of jos library complex which also housed the faculty of social sciences on October 20th 2016 that lead to the loss of library materials worth millions of naira, There have been problems facing the faculty especially department of Economics the queen of social sciences. The department was faced with the challenge of lecture halls were students could attend lectures.

The department had earlier suggested its lecture venues be moved at the old campus popularly known as “Gangere", but due to its education students in the department, the department had to change its decision and remain at the university's permanent site .

After weeks of serious deliberation , the departments decided the university's village hostel cafeteria would be it's lecture venue. To some of the students in the department living in the village hostel was of great advantage, because the cafeteria was close to their various compounds and rooms in the hostel.

But students living in Abuja and Naraguta hostels kicked against the notion of the department's decisions, stating that the distance to the lecture hall will be too far.
Finally, the department introduced a new timetable with its various courses from 100level to 400level and it's lecture hall at the Abuja hostel cafeteria.

The decision was greeted with mixed reactions and here are some of them

1. Movement:-
The students of the department who don't reside in Abuja hostel have been complaining about the distance especially those coming from town and village hostel, they have to trek from the permanent site gate to the Abuja hostel cafeteria.

2. Class time interval and where to get rest after the lectures have become a thing of the past as there are no free classes or a functional library to study and leisure areas to relax.

3. Close to a residential area -The sorry case of some lazy students who reside in the hostel and don't wear proper clothes to around the vicinity and to class a times. http://www.thenaijaface.com/2016/12/the-inner-voice-of-students-economics.html

Politics6 Valuable Lessons Nigeria As Country Has To Learned From Ghana 2016 Elections by craix(op): 9:29am On Dec 08, 2016
An election is the processes where individuals or citizens of a country are qualify to vote for a representative person into government. E elections in various countries have been free and fair and others have faced rigged and violence. But my main focus is not to discuss on what is elections or importance of elections.

But what happen on Wednesday 8th December 2016 in Ghana,Millions of Ghanaian left their homes early in the room to perform their voting rights franchise at various polling units across the country.
Image result for ghana election

Here are the 6 valuable lessons Nigeria as country has learned from Ghana 2016 elections;

1. In the year 2010 Ghana’s supreme court ruled that prisoners can perform their voting rights they vote in 2012 and 2016 arrangements were made for the prisoners to vote their choice of individuals into government. According to yen.com about 2,276 prisoners across the country have been registered.

2. Social media
A picture of a policeman in Ghana monitoring social media keenly for reports any rigged or malpractices using the social media to make reports and send vital information in the polling centers, Proper monitoring by security operatives is to stop any criminal activities in the voting units.

3. Public Queues
There are queues in various polling units; despite the queues its miraculous Ghana citizens respect the queues and orderliness during voting process to organize free and fair elections in the country.

4. Counting of Votes
Another amazing thing in Ghana elections 2016 citizens, voters and prisoners witness the public counting of the ballot and declaration of the results. No account or time will the ballot boxes leave the voters still the voters under the eye watch the counting of ballot this is to assure voters of their votes counts and no form of rigging in their votes.

5. Ban of Motorcycles and Sale of Alcohol
Citizens who lined at about 3am yesterday perform their voting rights outside the Ketan town hall polling unit, Ghana electoral commission bans the use of motorcycles and sale of alcohol near polling centers on Election Day.

6. Discount on taxi fares
Finally, it is quite interesting to see taxi companies in the country offering discounts for election transport to help citizens to and from polling centers.

This is enough for Nigerians to learn from its West African neighbor Ghana about elections the truth about free and fair elections not violence or rigged of votes.
