Funny thing is, he listens and obeys his commands when we're indoors. But as soon as we're outside, he throws caution to the wind and becomes his own boss and would never listen to anybody.

I've tried reading up on obedience training and also watched a few videos from oyinbos, but I'm looking for a more practical advice from Nigerians. Some people suggested discipline by flogging him into submission - I totally don't buy that as he might just become fearful of me and probably resent me forever.

You can't say anyone below 18 is too young to marry, the limit should be lower to be reasonable, say 15 or 16. And saying she must be a school leaver, is laughable and unrealistic. Does she know the amount of young people (both male and female) unable to complete their sec school education for reasons out of marriage? It's tantamount to saying someone who has no education has no right to marriage. Even in the US, there are high school drop outs and no one stops them from getting married.

Need I say everyone that planned the journey with me had already gotten into trouble giving different versions of 'our friend's birthday only Sisi was invited for'. No be small thing! My own cane na seepee. It was the most awful thing I had done so far though I had overstretched myself in recent times but that was crazy for me.

BTW, Bobo, was inside full of expectations for me. Their's was one of those doors with burglary proof that they lock regardless of being in or out. Double losses for me that day
