Someone was captured by the ICE and the next thing he knew, he was being bundled along with criminals and innocents alike to Elsalvador to serve N years in a brutal prison. The AEA he keeps parroting about only gives a president the power to detain and deport foreigners (as he rightly mentioned), but not to extrajudicially convict them and have them imprisoned in a foreign land.

And that's only one case. There are many other instances of Trump defying, attacking, and challenging the courts, and we are just a few months into his administration. We will see just how strong these checks and balances are in the coming years.
