Let not eevn talk about the Australian SAS who with impunity committed war crimes against Afghan populace.

Exactly bro. I just read that a 12 year old was shot by an Israeli soldier yesterday. Anybody that thinks those deals were dropped because of "human rights abuses" is extremely naive.

After frolicking with John Kerry and Obama to deny GEJ arms on false human rights violation claims, you now want to claim educated about what you know nothing about. Sit down boy, read up. America does business but they follow protocols or you think they are like your illiterate brothers. America would resort to reasons for denying sale of weapons to any country they so please and they have seen one to deny your darling terrorist daddy. So shut up and put your almajiri parasite brain where it can be of use; herding cows

Yep, the goat has started bleating already. May I know those protocols you are talking about? As long as they continue gifting weapons to Saudi Arabia and Israel, they can only deceive incompetent, 5kb-brained FOOLS with human rights. We'll buy from Russia and continue dealing with Bokoharam, bandits, and ESN terrorists.

wow. Thanks for the enlightenment.

So what the fck is now stopping Nigeria from patronizing other countries for weapons apart from the USA?

It's that cowardly CAATSA policy of USA that sanctions countries that buy weapons from Russia but many countries are giving them the middle finger. I think it's time for us to do the same

Oh, so now the same Democrats who helped Buhari into power are now against buhari? You guys are comedians. Same Obama that refused to sell arms to GEJ because of you rats in govt currently, citing human rights abuse that Elrufai and co concocted. Suddenly, dem no sell because of buhari and his terrorism loving govt, always using excessive force on unarmed civilians and pampering terrorists.

Lmao. Una go dey alright, you just need to visit psychiatric hospital.

How did they help him come to power? Ipob claims are never without traces of madness.

I asked you a simple question. Was it also IPOB that made them refuse to sell arms to Jonathan?

Let me educate your ipob-class brain. USA doesn't give a hoot about human rights, otherwise they wouldn't be selling weapons to Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and co. In fact, they even gifted some weapons to MBS.

It's not an issue though, we'll simply buy from Russia.

IPOB has messed up buhari's regime, within and without. The whole world now sees buhari as an islamic fundamentalist and terrorist, especially with his association with Al-qaeda supporter Sheik Ali Pantami Isa who declared support for Osama Bin Laden's killing of innocent Americans.

All IPOB needs is to send all the evidence to the White house and Senate commitee on defense in the US congress.
buhari government don suffer for IPOB hand.

Was it also Ipoop that stopped them from selling arms to Jonathan? What you are seeing right now is the handwork of DEMOCRATS, and not some flag-waving black monkeys. They have a strong (pretentious) obsession about "human rights ", hence they use it against regimes that refused to do their bidding. Even the Tucanos we are receiving is the result of Trump's presidency.

Stop mentioning Iraq and Syria. Those are warzones. Let's talk bout mainland United states.
You talk about black people been killed. Yeah. We all know about racism in the U.S. Nigeria is a predominantly populated by black people. What is the excuse? Tribalism We have no excuse for extra judicial killings. Just because a first world country commit crimes, doesn't justify us doing the same thing. Mind you, Nigeria is worse. You talked about weapons in hands of civilians in the U.S. Do u have any idea the large amount of weapons in circulation in Nigeria? It might not be as much as the amount in the U.S,but it is a bad situation cos we have no data and majority ain't licensed.

Warzone? Is that the sole excuse you have for those attacks? By the way, the Iraq war itself is a crime that Nigeria can never match.

Look, I'm not in any way saying that Nigeria is good. We are messed up in a lot of ways, but facts don't lie. We have nothing on USA when it comes to human rights violations (mind you, I said USA and not other western countries). They are just better at downplaying it.

That they are maintaining friendly relations with Saudi Arabia and Israek speaks volume about their concern with human rights. Anyways, let's not derail this beautiful thread

Not true. They only threaten those who want to eat from both sides. Especially when it comes to serious equipment. Turkey had entered into the F35 program and was still seeking to buy S-400 missile systems. Iraq did similar stuff as well. F35 fighters are still the most advanced jets currently.

But the CAATSA terms doesn't put it that way. Also, India faced similar threats when they bought the S-400

Do the U.S use its law enforcement agencies on its people? Does it allow the extra judicial killings by its police on its people nearly on a weekly basis? Does it government allow organised bandits and terrorists kidnap school children, ravage its lands for a decade?
Damn. People will still argue. We should be truthful. Our government is slow in reacting

1) yes, many law enforcement agents kill their citizens especially black civilians and many get away with it. Are we living in a different universe? Secondly, Trump recently pardoned convicted criminals who killed civilians for fun in Iraq.

2) yes, they not only allow but encourage extra-judicial killings of people. You are more likely to be shot by a US officer than by a Nigerian officer because unlike in our case, anybody could be armed in the US so they are more ruthless.

3) the Free Syrian Army, Al Nusra, etc all enjoy US support even though they have been caught behaving like Isis on many occasions.

This is just the tip of the iceberg self.

12 AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters and accompanying defence systems to the Nigerian military

Could this helicopters be for the NA Aviation Wing ! Thank God they allowed the Super Tucanos to be dekivered, hopefully the remaining batch would be delivered in due time.
If the US is not selling why can't we go to China or Russia, why must it be the United States. Am fucking tired with all these there sanctions and blocking of military hardware procurement, even when you have your money. Let's buy else where cool
Thanks for sharing these !

USA has a childish way of threatening countries that buy weapons from others, especially Russia. They want to be the sole provider while treating buyers like trash. And in most cases, their value doesn't match the price they charge.

for your information Stalin did not save the west during ww2,it was Hitler's endless blunders that saved them, first was his decision to launch operation Barbarossa against Russia and also to Capture the oil fields of the Crimea and capture Stalingrad, the German army lost so much men and equipment that they can't defend Western Europe from the Normandy and Sicilian invasions by the allied forces,in one biography the allied forces actually wanted to assassinate Hitler but decided not to because his blunders will help end the wars quickly.forget about the war noise coming from Russia,China,us and Britain,no country will fight a war that mutual assured destruction is guaranteed

Invading the Soviet Union was not stupidity but a necessity. I'm sure you don't think Hitler and all of his strategists were daft. Germany had lots of machines, but they lacked oil that can power them and if they are not powered, how could they defeat other allied powers? The only answer was to fight Stalin and win as quickly as possible but thanks to USSR and nature, the Germans failed. Failure to capture the Soviets is probably the main reason for the failure of the Nazis

Only a fool sees Britain and America as his savior. They have brainwashed you and like a zombie, you have fallen for it. Soon, you'll be saying that they are the reason for the oxygen you take. China hasn't used arms on any country for so many years while your heros have been dropping bombs, killing and displaying millions. Tens of millions are in starvation because of their cowardly sanctions just because leaders (who still eat 3 square meals by the way) refused to bow to their hegemony. Israel's only saving grace is that Russia has a soft spot for them due to their Jewish population at home. The S-400 that some fools were bragging about 'bypassing' was never intended to bring Israeli planes down otherwise those F-35s wouldn't even go near Syria.

Wait brother..proposed building of war ship for export progress??
We don’t have a functioning steel/metal industry
We don’t produce guns, RPG, let alone torpedoes...

How on earth do we want to manufacture war ship with advance weapon system....

Buhari is building rail line from the north to Niger republic with borrowed money...please is this what we need...??

I don’t celebrate mediocrity

First of all, nobody called this an advanced ship but if we want to build it in the future, this is a necessary step. Secondly, there's no law that says we can't produce one thing if we don't produce another. There are countries that create advanced artillery and missile systems while relying on imports to possess rifles.

If this thread was about Israel creating some state-of-the-art machine, it's still your type that will say something like this: "other countries are progressing while we are still importing shoes"

Almost all countries started with mediocrity. Keep quiet if you can't appreciate it.

What nation ''does not have the capacity to build bicycles''?

You mean YOU don't have the capacity to build bicycles?

It is people that build stuff, not ''nations''.

In Nigeria we have PEOPLE manufacturing cars, SUVs, chemicals, trucks, PC tablets, paint, pharmaceuticals, tires, you name it.

Nigerians have even built 3 SATELLITES that sit in outer space, functioning perfectly as we speak.

So, if there is a lack of locally built bicycles, what are YOU waiting for to start building them?

Please don't blame 'Nigeria' for your uselessness.

Don't blame her. I used to be like that, listening to people who love insulting the country until I made my research. Some people still believe Nigeria doesn't have enough technology to make razor blades and pencils.
