I don't know why you guys like stirring up nepotistic comments all on an ad-hoc job.

Most of you are not well educated to realise that majority of Muslims use religious names. This means an Ebira from Kogi, a Yoruba from Oyo, a Fulani from Zaria, a Gbagi from FCT or even a Nupe from Niger can all be bearing Abdullahi Umar. Someone with limited knowledge of the Nigerian culture just like yourself will refer to all of them as Hausas or Fulanis.

All the participants in the classes you saw were shuffled. This means you might even be the only person from your State in a class. Until it is time for physical training, you won't be trained in the State you are meant to work. I guess you were expecting to see the Oghenes and Okafors dominate in your class.

Also, according to one of the instructors in our class, functionaries will be posted to their states of origin because they are used to their cultures, languages, and practices. So Mr Deltan, be rest assured that a man from Daura will not be posted to Warri as an enumerator, supervisor, etc.

Change your mentality please.

There is no where in my post that I implied the bolded. And yes, I agree with you that applicants that applied as enumerators has not been called yet. I know some of them too who are yet to be called but I don't agree with the supervisor part. Check the screenshot I attached in my earlier post. Supervisor is listed there.

First of all, you guys should disregard the positions applied for like facilitators, field coordinator, etc. The commission are training all of the specialized workforce at the moment. Performance in the text will determine where you will eventually be placed during the main exercise. Refer to the attached picture for more information. Note that enumerators are not under specialized workforce.

For those that were invited for physical screening and didn't attend when instructed, I can't say whether you have been disqualified or not but I will advise you guys visit the screening venue and try your luck since the online/physical training will end on the 11th.

The physical screening was just to check for your academic document. Some were not called for physical screening but their application was approved. States which are not considered safe didn't hold physical screening. Instead, they checked the application and selected people that they think are qualified. Example are those that applied to work in Kogi. Due to the recent bomb blast in the state, those chosen had their profiles approved without any physical screening.

I got answer to this from a guy that participated in the trial census last year. He said training and field work was between 190k - 270k depending on the role.

Geo sales are mostly outbounds. Of a truth, most of the buyers only buy them because of your marketing pitch... a sense of urgency that makes them think it is not good for their competitors to have it. They don't have a problem dropping between $200-$500 for them. And some don't even bother to redirect it away from the marketplace even after purchase. Some won't even renew them (that's even if they remember owning them).

But those kind of sales by Swetha are different, way different. The buyers come knocking themselves without being invited, buying for thousands of dollars only to redirect it to a dead Twitter handle or not even resolving? C'mon!

1, 2, 3, or even 4 in 10 sales not developed can be said to be normal. But 7 or above should raise eyebrows.

the like of Rick( Domainking) Mike Mann etc are really on her, that most of her sales reports are fake.
Below is an art article from Elliot justifying swetha's reports. There is another article by the owner of namebio that tend to verify swetha's sales and attest to the authenticity of her sales reports.

If you follow this recent happening, what's your take and what lesson can be learnt from what is going on in this industry?

There is no way anyone is going to critique her without it coming off like envy but I think those questioning her sales have a point too. Most of the sales in mid 5 figures to six figures are not been put use even after months of sale. By most, I mean over 75% of her sales. It is hard to imagine that people will write such cheques for a not so popular domain extension without having a plan for them. If those sales were occuring in 4 figures, I don't think such scrutiny will happen. Statistics doesn't lie, does it?

Whether or not the sales is a plan by the xyz registry or some wealthy syndicate, Swetha has proven beyond doubt that those sales really did happen. I don't think she owes anyone any explanation or proof but she has provided them. Her sales report of xyz domains has no doubt promoted the extension in the domain industry and by extension inflated the wholesale price of decent SLDs in that extension. While this is as a result of FOMO, it is left for domain investors to decide for themselves what they are comfortable with in investing on the xyz extension.

Whether this is a farce or not, time will tell. As for Swetha, I think she deserves better credit in the domain industry judging by the height she scaled over the last two years.

I registered this particular name on Z.com and it sold within the 60 days lock, it recent passed the 60 days and I have been having problems unlocking it.

Wrote to support but they were just some Japanese guys with less understanding of English language, but I think he was trying to say I needed to also unlock the domain whois. Please how do I do that? I only saw an addons (I have off it) option but couldn't see on anywhere how do off the whois privacy.

Please can someone help me out?

Open the domain manager (for the domain in question) and perform these three steps to transfer away.

1. Disable the registrar lock under Registrar Lock.

2. Disable ID protection under Addons.

3. Copy the auth code under Get EPP Code.

After providing the auth code to the buyer, you should get an email from zcom (within 20 minutes of transfer initiation) requesting for your approval.
