I saw this sale posted on Twitter so I thought to share it here. Would you have registered this name five months ago? Do give reason(s) for your answer if yes or no.

For me, I wouldn't have 'wasted' my $9 on this name because it is difficult for me to even understand. The closest interpretation for me is 'Meta Marketing' which I'm not sure who the end users are. Pronunciation for me isn't smooth which is why I wouldn't have considered it.

Sure I agree with you that this thread opened my eyes to domaining. In case you're wondering, I took the OPs tutorial too so believe me when I say learning on your own is the ultimate way to success.

Am I belittling Iyke's effort? Far from it. It is more like just getting the basics which can only sustain you for long. You either learn more or get fizzled out. And when I say learning, I was even referring to YouTube. Namepros is your best bet.

You see I won't insult you, you're the only one ranting and nobody is giving you attention because your allegation is void.

It is deceptive when you pass off someone else's intellectual property as yours. That ebook you're selling wasn't written by you else you won't be asking the newbie question which McTeesticks called you out for.

The truth is there is no shortcut to this thing. I see people saying "read from page one or contact the OP of this thread" and I just laugh. Reading from page one sef na shortcut not to talk of contacting iykepromotions. You've got to put in the work if you want to succeed.

The knowledge needed to succeed can't be gotten completely talkless of taking the shortcut path. It is a continuous learning depending on what your aim is. But then, some newbies just see someone reporting sale of of $300 and say in their mind, "this is what I need". Work comes before result!

Someday, I hope I'd be proud to share with everyone here how I located this thread and how my journey has been since then. I'm far off (way off from where I'd like to be at the moment so there's nothing to share for now. But I'll definitely share someday.

There is no point in giving the price a domain name is sold but hoarding what was sold. It is just as good as not saying anything; so I would advise he keeps everything, price, and domain name because it does not really benefit anyone. So what's the point?

The only lesson I've learnt from his reports though is keeping your whois privacy open on your premium names. I've read that before both on DNAcademy and Namepros but he just validated it. If there is no lesson to be learnt from your sales or even motivation for your mates, maybe it isn't worth reporting.

I read the sales report of a newbie on Namepros who made his first sale after 8 months from having just 2 domain names. The sale itself wasn't what intrigued me but his dedication and conviction despite discouraging talks. I got to know of Shark Tank from his report now I can't go a day without watching that series. The knowledge gained (even outside domaining) from his experience made me learn something new.

But to your conclusion, this thread won't die. Great 'men' have come and left but it's still standing so this won't kill it.

Oga learn to think with a clear mind. Victims abound all over the world and that's not going to end because of a trending issue. Me saying prisoners should be given good welfare doesn't mean injustice to the family of their victims.

The prison is meant to be a correctional facility, not a dungeon. If the prisoners are not properly 'handled' today, the society will be worse off tomorrow when they regain their freedom.

Did you stumble on this thread while searching for how to get endusers for your domain? The name is not bad but might not sell early like you want. Reason being that it is narrowed to a group of hustlers like yourself who will hardly spare $500 to build a website. If you look at it critically, there is no urgency for them to build a website.

The most likely endusers would be bloggers who write contents on copywriting. It can also be used as a freelance marketplace for copywriters. So narrow your search for endusers to the former if you're looking for a quick flip. Also, don't forget to list it on Afternic and Sedo. You might get lucky.

I totally ignored the offer because of his presentation, he said in his mail that he knew "it's a few month old".. I was like "and so what?".
Exactly a month later, I received a $2k offer thru afternic broker while my asking price was just $6.5k. After some back and forth, we settled for $4.7k.
