At Ayaayo,they will come they are just taking time to say bye to their buddies beyond .I finally went to H pharmacy at wuse and got M2 tone,vite and folic acid.my periods have been dancing shoki.last cycle 40 days,previous,35,30 and 28 after my D&c in Feb.the m2 tone I got is the liquid.I went for it as opposed to the tablet.I pray that God will surprise us with bfp's very soon.I just moved to Abuja.the routes are so confusing.

First visit to my doctor, was given M2-Tone with folic acid. I added vitamin E on my own later and took all once daily, as I was asked to take m2 tone 2tabs at once. combination 3 is a birth control pill.
it is supposed to regulate your period.
you will have to take it as prescribed.
for d 3months u would be on it, you are not expected to ovulate.
so its expected everything returns to normal by the fourth month.

do u have pcos? Or a cyst?
maybe d doctor wants your hormones to stop feeding the follicles / cyst so they can clear up.
I think you should listen to the doctor.
I didn't take mine because am not disciplined. (you have to take it same time every day for 3 months)
and am still having irregularities in my period.

folic acid is a very good drug and it wont affect any treatment you are on. as a matter of fact, it is always advised that women planning to conceive should start taking a tablet a day at least 3 months before they plan to conceive. i will emphasize again that you should stay clear of ALL antibiotics . Get a good multivitamin tablet and start eating plenty fruits.

a scan to check your ovaries and uterus will see if there's anything out of the norm. please go to a good diagonistic center with well trained staff that are well versed on knowing what to look out for.

the other experienced mamas here will tell you what drugs you can take that will help in inducing your period/ovulation.

@CreamyBee, let your dcotor decide what is best for u, you can ask in details the steps and approach he/she wants to carry out and i forgot to add in the previous post that you can take the test in another centre to see if they would pick up staph just to be very sure.

Also, i have been hearing of this combination3, are u diabetic? it would be good if you can also tell us about what this cobination3 is and what it is used for. We all learn everyday.

i very much agree with Helovesme, staph is present everywhere on the human skin and some organs, it is the over growth that constitute an issue so please stop the antibiotics cause u may become resistant to it plus other issues may arise from it. one very prominent proof of stap is constant boils and painful rashes.

I guess the doctor would want to induce ovulation or something if she ask that you see her on CD1. please go online and read about all these things "google" is very educative and atleast u'll have an idea of what your doctor is doing and u'know what is best for you.

beautiful lady, apologies for my late response.

i personally think 'staph' is just one of the ways diagonistic centers rip people off. staph can be found almost everywhere - even on the skin. the fact that your hubby is fine seems to suggest you are actually treating a non-existing infection. if the 'staph' was at bad as you've been made to believe, your husband would have been infected by now.

Please treat the PID, confirm with a followup test that the PID is clear and after that, kindly stay off ALL antibiotics.

i am not sure about how combination 3 works but hopefully some of the other beautiful ladies might be able to shed more light on the drug.

How irregular are your periods? Regarding your irregular period, have you had TVS or a scan done to check if you have PCOS?

You should get folic acid as well as a good multivitamin tablet and start taking them once daily. these two drugs are known to help women who are TTC

@teena4040 u can use progesterone injections, progetine pack of 10 is #1,100 contains 10vials each containig 25mg progesterone, u need 100mg to induce af it shud b injected intramuscularly just once nd u wait for AF to come in 7 - 14days

U can also go d tablet route primolut N, it's just dat u have to swallow more no of tablets to meet up d 100mg neede, d drugs would b taken on different days. so d day u take d last dose u count from dat day 7-14days time u are spose to see AF.

I am not too familiar with combination 3. IT shouldn't affect pregnancy. Oral contraceptives work primarily by inhibiting ovulation. So, not likely that you will ovulate. If you want to get pregnancy, you have to stop taking the pills for some time.

Allahu Akbar! Allah is great. He has answered my prayers in this holy month of Ramadan. It all started in Dec 2012. I really don't know what to say now cos am overwhelmed with joy. I am 12dpo today n tested this afternoon and there it was. The second miracle line appeared but faint. I ran to the pharmacy to get another brand of test strip and I dipped it again n d 2 lines came clear and pink. Alhamdulillah! Wishing every hopeful mama here fertility favour. i think you should chill and take a very long break from all antibiotics. antibiotics are enough to mess up your menstral cycle/fertility.

then again, i am always veryyyyyy skeptical with diagonistic labs in nigeria. all they see are 'infections'. the truth is there will always be micro-organisms as well as good and bad bateria in one's vjay. some of them dont even know what they are doing/what they are looking for. if you are having recurrent infections for so many years, if you had seen a good doctor, you should have been given drugs to that will tackle the infection either via drugs or intravenous injection and also testing your hubby and treating him if need be so as to stop the circle of infection.

Well nothing is wrong with hubby, his fine. My prob nw is dat i always use drugs to induce my period.
