BS! BS!!! BS!!!

Children indeed are gift and blessings from the lord. Ever since d arrival of my baby its been great joy, the happiness I can't explain.

I got married November 19 2016 hubby works offshore, he spends three months at work and one month at home. So after d wedding every time he's around I will prepare and prime myself to make sure I achieve pregnancy but the blood still flows monthly and each time I see my monthly flow I will cry cause I know I av lost that month and am gonna wait for three more months before trying again. This was how it continued for 18months and finally in the month of may I was already feeling sick and three days before d next flow I used pt test at home and got a faint positive result, the next day as early as possible I rushed to d lab for a blood test lo and behold I saw d positive result written boldly immediately I called hubby to share the news with him and he was more than excited, it was such a great news.

My pregnancy journey was so smooth and free from MS and no unusual cravings I was so normal just weight gain and baby bump increasing as d month goes by. I registered in a general Hosp but around 30weeks I registered with a private Hosp. At 37 weeks apt at d private Hosp Dr asked I do a VE and he came said u are 4cm gone but cervix is so tight. At 38 weeks exactly on a Sunday I saw d bloody show for three days. And at 38 weeks apt again Dr said still 4cm that I shud go bring my things I said OK left the Hosp and did not go back but went to general Hosp to confirm d cm they said labour is just starting that wen it gets serious I shud come back with my things I said OK and went home I took date and pineapple that night. At night I will b having serious contraction but during d day I will be so fine and there won't be any single contraction I said no need to go to d Hosp since the pain is not serious and I intend giving birth at the general Hosp. 39weeks came and on Thursday being my next apt at d private Hosp and my Birthday as well i was planning on giving myself a treat wen hubby called and insist I go for my antenatal cause I really did not want to go since the Dr already asked me to come d previous week which I refused but since my hubby was insisting I respectfully went to d hosp another VE was done and Dr said 6cm I said am not feeling anything no contraction whatsoever only at night OK Dr said call someone to bring ur things ha, today my birthday?? With all d plans and arrangement I av made? I called my sis to bring my things and at 11am I was induced and the pain starting coming gradually, at at d next check twas 8cm and the nurse broke my water and the pain tripled. I was moved to the favour room and just with two pushes exactly 1:10 I heard d cry of my angel weighing 2.5, no tear. I was just staring at her with all smiles wen d nurse was cleaning her up. D best birthday gift ever. Twas indeed a safe delivery and I thank God for this wonderful gift he gifted me and my family, its been nothing but joy since her arrival.

Cc rabluk. BS submitted. Thank u very much for all d wonderful information.

Dazzlinganio:
BS !!!!!!! Team Feb but ported to the last day of Jan (31/1/19)

I bless the Lord for blessing my family with a beautiful baby girl. We got married 2016 Nov. I don’t stay in the same state with my hubby and it took me time to take in. The Doc kept telling me that since my husband isn’t here with me it can take us up to 2 years to conceive, I told him that my husband comes home every weekend and hasn’t missed one weekend before. Anyway God helped us and he was transferred back to where I stay, within 6months I took in against the one year we stayed without any sign of pregnancy. I started reading about ovulation and how to time it and we stopped timing sex because it started killing our sex life. My sisters out there who are trying to conceive and your husband isn’t around please don’t be overly worried and make plan to be with him at least 6months to 1year together before jumping into conclusions.

Fast forward to June 7 2018, I missed my period for a day and went straight to the hospital for a blood test coz I was tried of hoping and after a few days the period will show. So I went in for a blood test. I can remember how shocked I was when I picked up the result. What I have been praying for was right in front of me but I couldn’t express any emotion, it felt unreal I got to my car and was just praising God. My drive home was as if I was carrying eggs in my car lol, me that use to speed was just allowing ppl to pass. I was just smiling as cars drove by lol. That motherly love hit me instantly, I was carrying another life and I needed to adjust a lot of things from my driving style to what I eat etc it comes naturally I guess. My pregnancy was a smooth one. I didn’t have morning sickness or anything. I was strong and was doing all I use to do. At 3months I started my exercise routine which was dancing for 15-20mins everyday before I take my bath. Doing light squatting and lifting my legs to the side and rolling my waist all in the bid to be flexible and it helped, I did that until the day I gave birth.

Labor/ birth : on the 30th of Jan I saw a brown discharge just like what you will see after your period. I called my mum and she was like that’s your show, hope your bags are ready and other sign please head to the hospital, I called my Doc he told me to time my contractions which I did and I went about my day. I just decided to make my hair at home immediately though my Edd was Feb 13th I just felt this can come any time since I was already 38weeks. At night around 11.30pm the contractions were very intense and were coming frequently and we headed to the hospital. On getting there the Doc on duty had to check how many cm I have dilated omg that was painful I wouldn’t lie. I kept telling them where are the Epidural team. Anyway they took me to the labor room and before I knew it the contractions were getting stronger and painful. The Epidural was inserted and relief came. Mothers out there please use Epidural to relief pain it works. I labored from 11.30pm till 7.25am and my beautiful princess came forth. Once I saw her I was overjoyed. The joy of motherhood. What I enjoy the most is looking at her facial expression when she is breastfeeding. I Thank God for his faithfulness.
congratulations my delivery mate. May ur baby girl be everything u prayed for

PRAISE THE LORD!!!! I WELCOMED MY PRINCESS ON THE 14th of January. After 5 miscarriages in three years of marriage. JEHOVAH Overdo proved himself.
BS
From the day i discovered i was pregnant the devil tried and tried but God came through. At 7 weeks i started bleeding, i was already on duphaston so we went for a scan, only to be told there was no fetal pole and since i was already bleeding there was a likelihood that it was another miscarriage. I wept and asked God why.. DH was so filled with faith. Two days later we went for another scan though i was still bleeding we found a fetal pole. At 9 weeks my cervix began to dilate. Another battle, i was no longer in my base in Jos. Luckily my Dr in jos referred me to a Prof in a private hospital in my new base who began monitoring me. He said it was abnormal to have a cerclage put in before 12 weeks but we would try all possible to keep this baby. So at 10 weeks we had a cerclage in place. Ms dealt with me, but we scaled. 2nd trimester came and everything went smoothly except for a wicked boss at the office who was stressing the hell out of me. At 26weeks my dr was worried that the pressure on the cervix was becoming too much so i took a long leave. And my Dr adviced me to opt for elcs so as to avoid any issues during delivery considering my medical history. Fast forward to 35 weeks i went for my routine check up and discovered that my Bp had shot so high. I was immediately checked the dr said if there was protein in my urine and the babys heart rate wasn't as expected he would deliver immediately. We did all the necessary tests and everything was fine he put me on some antihypertensive drugs and asked me to return in two days for more checks. When i came back in two days bp readings had doubled. He immediately asked that we perform the cs as soon as the baby hits 37 weeks. So on Sunday night i packed my bag and headed for the hospital. I was booked for 7am in the morning and at exactly 7.37am i heard the first cry of my baby. She's a beauty to behold. Am still in awe of God's faithfulness. My joy knows no bounds. Thank you to every mama who supported me with a word of encouragement in my down moments. My able cappo rabluk keep up the good work and my able teamies sorry I ported o. May God complete the work he has started for every pregnant woman. Amen. BS Submitted
congratulations teamie... We thank God for safe delivery. May ur joy continue to flourish all ur days

Compliments of the season everyone.
Congrats to our cappo and other mamas who have put to bed.
Waddling mamas,God will make it easy for you.
And to the GTC mums, your testimony is sure.

Here's my BA and BS...sorry it came late.
Still grateful to God for a stress free pregnancy journey and a supernatural delivery of my baby.
It happened on the 16th of December (exactly 38weeks)the young man decided to come forth.
I came back from church with my sisters that afternoon, I prepared soup,we ate and took our nap.
Before they went in,I reminded them I will wake them by 4pm so we would go for fellowship later in the evening. I set my alarm by 3:50pm but as at 3:20 or thereabout,I wasn't feeling myself again. I decided to go wash pending clothes left. I also reluctantly called my husband who wasn't in town to tell him how I was feeling and was contemplating going for fellowship.
He called a friend of ours to come home and check on me. All the while I was still home, contractions were more frequent. Thank God for experience cos I was able to manage it whenever it hit.
Got to the hospital, doctor checked and said I was fully dilated *smiles* .miracle working God I serve. I was wheeled to the delivery room and at the next contraction, I pusssshed and baby came out.
Baby tore me though and I cried during suturing cheesy
In all,I give all the glory to God.
No more rough play again till atleast 2021. Hehehehehehehe.
Cappo Adorablewifey, BS submitted.
congratulations!. May God keep u and baby safe!

Adorablewifey:
My Birth story....

My bfp happened at a time when I'd lost all hope on TTC but was relentless.
I had a very stress free pregnancy. My BP and blood sugar level was always on point, no trace of protein in my urine except for pcv result that came out as 29% at 15weeks which i was placed on blood tonics. At 35 weeks a repeat test was done and it came back as 34%, my worries were over as that was the only thing giving me concerns about labour.
Same 35weeks a late dating scan was done which showed my baby weighing 3kg, I was advised to cut down on carbohydrates and do more of fruits and veggies. I wasn't moved by the size as I was convinced that God who kept it there will bring my baby out when it's time.
38 weeks came I was glad I was almost done being pregnant and about to meet our rainbow, the one reason why DH and i cry together. I was already tired of being pregnant and want baby out before the 40weeks mark so I started a 1hr daily walk.
At 38 weeks 6days which was my last antenatal, for the first time my BP read 130/90. I had my concerns about it but my Dr assured me it was fine. That same day I had this headache that lasted like 4hrs even after taking PCM.
On the day I clocked 39 weeks, I decided to up my walk to 2hrs. I did that day with so much energy and knew that something must happen that night. I went to bed with hope of been awoken by contractions but behold I sleep through the night like a baby, I was really disappointed.
39week 1day was FIL memorial, Dh was seriously praying for our baby to come that day but no, God got other plans.
The headache continued again so I told DH that I needed to check my BP as I wasn't comfortable with this headache anymore. We went to the nearest pharmacy to get my baby's soap so I ceased the opportunity to check my BP. I was advised by the pharmacist that I should go check in to my hospital immediately as PCM will only do nothing at this point. When I took a look at the reading, it read 154/110, then I knew it's time to stop the PCM.
we went home picked my hospital card and left for the hospital emergency unit. There another reading was done, time it read 157/110 I was immediately placed on admission. Dh was asked to go bring hospital bag as they were suspecting a case of preeclamppsia. This was around pass 2pm in the afternoon. They kept running one test or the other. Drugs was giving to stabilize my BP to prepare me for induction. They were able to get it to 147/100 at mid night or there about. By 4am which was 39 weeks 2days the induction process started. Mi.sopris.tol was inserted to ripen my cervix.
At 9am I was checked and confirmed to be 2-3cm dilated. At this point my BP was still constantly been monitored yet it kept going up even after the drugs and injs.
Hours later I was having fever with temperature reading at 38.4c and BP 174/110. I was checked to see how far dilated I was, by noon time I was told still 2cm dilated so at this point my membrane was broken to fasten labour. Dr came back to check at pass 4 to see how far dilated again he was shocked to meet me yet again at 2cm. What baffled him most was that baby's head wasn't descending, he was convinced there must be an obstruction somewhere. In all this my baby's heartbeat was constantly been monitored and she was doing fine. He told me he was going to allow me try vaginal delivery but seeing that I wasn't progressing and with my fever and blood pressure constantly on the increase he would advised that I opt for an emergency C-section. I allowed him to finish trying to cajole me and said "Sir, can you pls get my baby out? I've waited for this miracle for 4yrs plus, what's with vaginal delivery?.
He was shocked and was like "Madam, if you had told me this earlier I wouldn't have allowed you go through this pain for this long". He asked that the consent form be signed by Dh, i told him Dh was out for a job but was on his way back and asked that my Mil signed and my cousin to bear witness. Consent was giving as we waited for DH to join us before been wheeled to the theater.
By pass 5pm I was wheeled in and by 5:45 my princess was brought out weighing 2:8kg with strangling cord around her neck and with the largest meconium Dr said he has ever seen in his years of practice.
She was quickly rushed to be resuscitated as she didn't cry. After about 5mins I heard for the first time my baby's cry and I cried.
The nurse standing by my head asked if I was feeling pain seeing me crying. I said no but I was in fact in pain. The pain that TTC made me go through came flashing back and i cried that finally TTC just got defeated.
I stretched to take a look my princess from afar, smiled and fell into what seems like the best sleep ever. YES, I JUST BECAME A MOTHER.

PART 2
I went into a deep sleep but could hear my DH excited voice from afar even though he was just standing by my head. Woke up to a nurse and said good morning ma, she smiled and said good evening.
A repeat pcv was asked to be done 2days after delivery and result came back 20% with me looking all pale. Dr said I bleed alot during the surgery because of my BP and I also had large amount of lochia too. I was asked to be transfused with at least 3paints of blood.
The first blood was set and transfusion began. Few minutes after the my heart started clasping together and beating so fast too, I was shooting down. I could hear my baby cry beside me but couldn't reach out to her. Thankfully one of he nurses who came to give babies bcg walked to my bed side and was asking if they had given my baby. I tried with all the strength I could gather to point to the blood and my neck signifying that I was shoking. She called another nursing that I was reacting to the blood. They took my baby from my side, stopped the transfusion and was able to diffused what was on my system. For hours I couldn't get myself nor reach out to my baby who was crying inconsolably, I felt I failed my child and I cried.
Next day they insisted on another blood transfusion even though I've been placed on tot'hema 2xdaily. I was too traumatized to go on with another. Told them I would pass on the transfusion and continue my drugs. I was asked for a repeat pcv, that again came back 20%. I was always dizzy but too traumatized to go ahead with another blood transfusion. Family members pleaded with me and encouraged me to take another as I may not react to the next one. Thankfully I was able to get through with 2paints successfully. On the 8day I was still on admission, my baby had to be named in the hospital. Again I failed her but I'm thankful she stayed for us even in the womb while she was having growth reduction and while she swallowed meconium as I battle with BP, she stayed with a perfect heartbeat.
Again a repeat pcv test after 48 and 72hrs of transfusion was done and the result came out 34%, hallelujah!!!
And so we were finally discharged at about 11:30pm on 23 DEC as I had insisted I wasn't spending one more night in the hospital. Got to MIL's past midnight 24 DEC. My princess had her first Christmas at home.
We are home now and recovery has been fast, as mother and child are doing just great.
Thank you all for your prayers, words of encouragement, mentions, likes, shares and views.
I wanted to give mentions but I fear that I might omit one or two monikers and I don't want to offend anyone.
I'm thankful I had your prayers and support through it all, thank you so much.
Here's my princess Janine, Oluwadabira, Oghenetega saying thank you all and a merry Xmas. God bless you...
congratulations mama. Your BS is so touching and am super happy for u. May God be praise! Baby is so adorable
