One million a day sounds way way more than exaggeration. Its utterly impossible from every angle. Even major shoe makers with better facilities and capacities all over the world can not move 1 million a day.

Bro, it is possible.... just a mini factory can make up to 100 to 200 shoes per dey in average and you know in Aba there are more than 5,000 of those mini business , do the remaining maths.....

What happened to the weapons, bomber jets and APCs recently bought? Why was the jet of Oritsejafor, not one of the 10 in the President's fleet, used?

Why would you "sensible" man use presidential Jet to buy Arms from the "Back Door"....hmm undecided

ITbomb: For those of you shouting Russia, remember Russia is technically under sanctions and as allies to US (somehow) Nigeria is not expected to get some of this things through easily.
China is what I don't understand, maybe there is a hidden clause that Nigeria doesn't like.

US has consistently said that it is not selling lethal arms to Nigeria, all it can offer are helicopter for transport (sic).
And I believe Nigeria didn't want to wire the money so as to avoid the watchful eyes of the US NSA, people underestimate the grip US has on global financial transactions, when Jonathan said that it is their money and 'America will know' people were laughing.

I believe SA had to do what they did to avoid the wrath of US

U get " Sense "

chemali: If the US places an arms embargo on any country, more often than not, it's public knowledge. Such mindless lying... It's a shame that educated people are holding brief for a government they should be asking questions. There are so many gaps in the stories from the gocernment, involved parties and insults from CAN in the past three days. Rather than ask questions of this government proving that we are not buying their crap, some senseless twats sit and put up all manner of defence. Shouldn't the National assembly be tasked with unravelling this embarrassment? The Nigerians in South Africa have been complaining of being labelled criminals - the government of Nigeria just reinforced this perception and they should be made to explain.

Why would they make arm embargo on Nigeria public..... are we killing innocent ppl or boko Haram, so why will this kind of embargo go public when there is nothing to substantiate it....

Fool, just recently new set of helicopters from russsia were agreed to be sent to Nigeria.

In August Russia and Nigeria signed a large contract for delivery of
helicopters, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the head of Rostec
State Corporation’s delegation at ADEX-2014, Sergey Goreslavsky.
"In August a contract for delivery of a large batch of helicopters to
Nigeria was signed. This refers to significant number of Mi-171Sh
and a few Mi-35M helicopters", - Goreslavsky said.
He added that Mi-171Sh and other versions of Mi-17 helicopter are
in demand in Africa. "Mozambique is interested in these vehicles and
we are going to promote the helicopters at the exhibition held in
Republic of South Africa", - he added.

And you think between these countries that there is no agreement on how "many" of these arms and "types" you "CAN" sell to this country..... and what of if the little one "agreed" to sell to you is no where enough... what do you think that country will do esp when you have money and every dollar transaction on arms is monitored...brother think well ...there are USA spies everywhere even in Germany their friend grin grin grin

Are they insinuating that America also blocked Russia from selling arms to Nigeria?
Foolish set of people.

When will you grow some sense hmm...So you think American do not have good relationship with Russia or China...I laff u in itshekiri, brother there might be verbal war between them on who manage which countries but it does not have anything to do with how they manage their Arm dispositions...,...America will never want any country to sell High tech Arms to A rich country of almost 200 million with intelligent citizens like Nigeria

In as much as i don't trust Oritsejafor, but i believe without CAN and probably him, christains would have seen the worst of muslims killings, but CAN has been working tiredlessly to prevent that to the minimum.
Concerning this allegation,i will not say anything until the truth comes out,as far as i am concern this maybe another muslim propaganda.
