Whether it is partly or even fully owned by Tinubu, as long as they give out quality projects in record time its still better than giving it to those big names that keep COMMISSIONING unfinished projects and squander the nations treasury.

pazienza: You are not making any point. As a consumer,i want quality products at cheaper prices. If dangote is not a monopolist that is seeking for a way to exploit nigerian masses,let him produce his own tomato at cheaper price and a quality as good as the chinese and others,if he can do that,the chinese and the rest will naturally run out of business,or forced to lower their prices, it would be a win-win situation for the consumers and the farmers.

But that's not what dangote wants,he wants all competition removed,so that he can kill us with cut throat prices like he is already doing in the cement industry, nonsense!

Dangote hasn't commenced production yet, I wonder how u knew the prices won't be cheaper or that it would be of lesser quality to what the chinese import.......and most of you that are crying foul about the monopolistic nature of Dangote, read the article again especially the part where it says other importers refused to join in formin a venture for producing the paste locally. That should tell you sumtin, it is more in there benefit that we import tomato paste and they don't care about you 'either'.
Monopoly is part of business and also of life.....if u can challenge d monopoly, nobody stops you.

i know little of PHP, Python, CSS, Mysql (through video tutorials). one of my main challenge is i don't know what to do with them, especially after learning the basis.....

My advice to u is while u r learnin any programmin lang., don't wait till the end of the tutorial to practice what u've learnt. Instead, get d IDE for that particular programmin lang n as u learn u practice also. If they type 'a' (in d tutorial), u also type 'a', whatever is done do it immediately n in no time u wld see that u've coded something n more ideas wld come. Goodluck

@Napolitano, you said something about going to a very good school if one chooses to learn. Would you be kind as to suggest a few or better still, the one you went to. Thanks.

GraphicsPlus: If you want the idea to die, get a web design guy to do it for you. But if you want to build something that will stand the test of time like, go learn web design and development. If you want to learn web design and you want to waste your money and end up getting nothing, go to NIIT and learn it. But if you want to learn web design and you dont want to waste your money and you want to get a solid training, here is my humbly advice to you:

1. Put the idea on hold and go learn webdesign yourself. Every idea that requires coding, the ceo of the idea must know about coding. If you wait for 4 to 6 months to get yourself ready, it's not a waste of time. I guess you want to make a statement through your site and not just to design a crappy social media networking site.

2. Do you have a MasterCard or do you know someone that has. Then go subscribe at lynda.com or udemy.com and learn web design and development from scratch to ninja level. It`s a video tutorial. They will teach from basic html to advanced php.

3. Get an e-book or hard copy book on html,css,javascript,php and mysql. Html and css are simple. You can master them in one month. You can have a hold on js, php and mysql under 4 to 5 months.

4. Then start building something and learn from building. Go to forums and submit your site for critique. Then as the website becomes more complex, you can hire someone to be doing a certain part while you focus in another part. I mean you will need a team of developers.

Pls I would like to know if the sites you suggested (i.e lynda.com n udemy.com) allow video downloads because I would love something for reference purpose.
