Shola13:I have put my contact details on the website. A simple phone call will be sufficient to answer all queries. The essence of putting the car online with pictures is to get serious potential buyers interested. And what I do know is that anyone seriously interested in purchasing a car in Nigeria MUST physically inspect the car first. Also from experience, most posters who (want to) bid online without physically inspecting the vehicle first are just speculators. This car was initially used in Abuja, so a VIN number wont give you the true state of the vehicle now. |
@abiola2011 Whats your email address |
@abiola2011 and bakareaat The questions follow the pattern outlined in the SAP areas of concentration which you will find online at their website. They change the areas of concentration every few months so you have to be sure to check before you sit for your exams. The most questions from my exams came from and Dunning Automatic Payment Program, Asset Accounting, and Accounts Receivable. Very few questions are directly asked. And you have to think deep to ensure that you don't pick the wrong option. There are questions that have four options with two correct answers, five options with three correct answers, questions with just one correct answer. No fill in the gap in my own exams although they mentioned it in the instructions. My advise is this. Read your manuals again and again, even if you have to read it like 10 times through to know it in and out. No question comes from outside the scope of the books. When you are actually ready to write your exams let me know, and I might be able to give you some more info. |
Link: http://blogs.ft.com/beyond-brics/2011/12/13/nigerias-budget-only-surface-deep/#axzz1gRHqR1DP Nigeria’s budget: only surface deep December 13, 2011 4:55 pm by David Keohane Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria’s president, presented his country’s 2012 budget on Tuesday and while on the surface there are some positive numbers, dig a bit deeper and the picture gets murkier. Nigeria’s projected fiscal deficit of 2.8 per cent in 2012 would make many developed nations jealous but it is predicated on what Razia Khan, head of African research for Standard Chartered, told beyondbrics were some “very optimistic assumptions” – which Nigeria, only recently been moved to a stable outlook by the ratings agencies, can ill afford. Jonathan said the country would spend N4.749tn ($29.29bn) next year, an increase of 6 per cent from 2011. That might not sound too drastic but it adds up to an increase of nearly 50 per cent in real terms since 2009. The economy will grow by nearly 7 per cent this year, mostly driven by the non-oil economy. As Khan said: “If Nigeria can’t get it right in the good times , when can it get it right?” Nigeria’s budget does contain some marginal positives to go with its narrowing budget deficit. Jonathan is proposing to bring down the cost of maintaining government – which has been running at nearly three quarters of the national budget – to a still intimidating 72 per cent. Good, if rather underwhelming, news that doesn’t open much room for much-needed infrastructure spending. Another positive: the benchmark oil price, on which budget estimates are based, has been reduced from $75 a barrel to $70. With 90 per cent of export earnings generated by oil, this denotes a more conservative fiscal outlook – though it does leave the country exposed if production doesn’t meet an optimistic production target of 2.48m barrels per day (up from 2.3m bpd this year). Yvonne Mhango of Rennaisance Capital remained upbeat, saying in an emailed note to clients: [Nigeria's] public debt is very low with domestic debt at 16.4 percent and external debt at around 2.2 percent, so there is room, in our view, to borrow for the budget. The budget oil price is conservative in our view – we project an oil price of $100-110 per barrel in 2012 – so they should be able to meet their targets, if they stick to the fiscal programme. In contrast, Khan argues: The nominal growth projection – real GDP growth of 7.2% and inflation of 9.5% may not differ much from the consensus, but the point is that Nigeria is still hugely dependent on oil revenue – and not domestically generated revenue – for the financing of its budget. Until this changes (and we would like to see more detail of revenue raising measures), forecasts of domestic growth are almost redundant – with little impact on eventual budget outcomes… Should budget projections disappoint, the FX rate may have to take the strain. The monetary authorities will need to do even more to offset the liquidity impact of increased spending, and preserve some measure of price stability. Then there is the much discussed fuel subsidy, which ministers have hinted will be abolished in 2012. In the FT’s annual special report on Nigeria Lamido Sanusi, central bank governor, said the cost of the subsidy was just over $16bn, fractionally more than the state’s entire earnings from oil revenues this year. However, even General Sani Abacha, the most ruthless of Nigeria’s former military dictators, withdrew his own attempt at lowering the subsidy in response to public outcry. A recent opinion poll found that 87 per cent of Nigerians still, unsurprisingly, oppose scraping the subsidy. With no mention of the subsidy in the budget, they will have to wait a little longer to discover its fate. |
Just relax, Read up about the bank, you'll find enough information on their website. Try and know some basic things about banking, current affairs and the like. I would suggest that you visit any branch of the bank and look around for any guy/lady who looks like an entry level staff. If you can develop a little rapport with him/her, ask them what their entry level interview format looks like, the type of questions they ask etc. Then pray like mad. Every institution in Nigeria now takes people by whom you know and "long leg". Just tell God that He is the one you know o, after all God is the most influential being in the Universe and He has the "longest leg" |
Hello All, I just passed my SAP FI consultant certification exams with a score of 76%. I want to thank all the professionals and contributors on this thread. While I had an idea of what SAP was, you reignited the passion in me and made it so hot that I had to make the huge financial commitment required for the training. Meanwhile, I will like to know how to get into projects and advance my career as an FI consultant. @ Otesy, can a junior inexperienced FI consultant apply for the job you posted? |

@Nex I know Omawumi from one of them. And I respect her singing prowess. Even the winner Timi, had to struggle to gather money to get his album out this year after many years of winning the West African Idol competition. The organizers disappointed the guy and left him high and dry! Right now we have Project Fame, Glo Naija Sings, Nigerian Idol. Name Five stars with Albums on sale who have come out from all these competitions combined. The best they do is have a single that fizzles out after a few weeks, then we never hear of them again. I play a little keyboard so I know one or two things about singing. I feel like crucifying some of the competitors after their presentations. When I expect the judges to point out their mistakes and guide them appropriately. All I hear is praise and worship for a terrible performance. It goes to show that they are more interested in presenting their show as the best than actually bringing out the best talent in the country. I have met a singer or two around who actually blow much better than what I see on these shows, so Im not impressed. |
Another thing I don't get with DSTV is the giveaways and prizes that they give to South Africans, I dont remember them doing ANY of such in Nigeria. The best they have done here is give you an extra month if you pay for a full year. Yet in South Africa, every month they have competitions, they give out vacations, furnish homes for their subscribers, give out tickets to huge concerts etc. Its total balderdash! |
I wonder what is so special about this. Buhari and Idiagbon were the first to make it mandatory for local bakeries to include maize, sorghum etc in their products. And they enforced it, as if that statement will stop Patience and Dizeani from importing their next birthday cake from USA or Italy. |
I dont even bother to watch these Naija music competition shows. The thing is just to make money for the organisers. Tell me how many stars have they really produced. The few ones who have made it did it via their own efforts. Then the terrible singing. Haaaa!!! These guys go off key and I hear the judges telling them that they sounded like angels, yuckh!!!!! I puke!!! The y are just as bad as Naija home videos. I am better off watching American Idol etc |

I was going through the yahoo autos website and discovered that the VW Golf is listed seperately from the VW GTI. I have always thought that both cars are one and the same. There is no difference in the body shape or interior, though since I saw that they were listed seperately on yahoo, I started noticing that the cars I see in town have golf as the model and some have GTI. Could the professionals please enlighten me on the difference between these very similar models( if any). |
