You have a valid point. However, let’s not forget that there are two sides to a coin. This same constitution that guarantees freedom to bear firearms is also responsible for the unnecessary deaths associated with mass shootings.

Owning guns is the constitutional right of every American. It is a fundamental part of their constitution. In fact, it was included in the first draft. So this is not about Trump. The problem is political. Some politicians want to take away citizens right to own guns, but to do that they must change the constitution. And they cannot change the constitution if majority of the citizens don't agree. The only way they can agree is if they make the society so unsafe through mass gun violence. That's why those who can see beyond their nose know that many of these mass shootings are sponsored by anti-constitution politicians in DC who want to take away guns from citizens. I don’t see how taking away guns from people makes the society less safe.
