Most leader in the state do nothing all through their tenure, and still will their reelections.
Once you are been selected in PDP primary, then you are a winner, even without campaign.

They should call out his soul spiritually,a very useless man.

I don't know why southerner behave like a foreigner in their own country. Give them any post in Nigeria and watch them turn to houseboy to their masters.

I remember how vibrant Sanisu was as a CBN governor, but this guy has been reduced to a bootlicker.

And the award for the most useless CBN governor in the history of Nigeria goes to ...

He can never take any decision on his own,no reform. Always going back and forth.

Crime › Technical School's And Vocational Centres,A Solution To Curb Crime In Nigeria. by crossfm(op): 4:45pm On Feb 11, 2022
The level of crime and ritual activities in Nigeria is rising geometrically. The get rich syndrome by jobless youths is a big threat to our nation if not checked.

What frighten me most is hearing young boys and girls shouting, "I must make am in life", without going to school, learning a trade, being into sports or even learning handiwork.

You will now wonder, how them wan take make am without having any tangible thing doing. You and I don't need a soothsayer to tell us that most of them will soon delve into crime.

The above mentioned problem Left me thinking critically ,and I came up with some solutions which will go a long way in solving these problem.

I'm not holding brief for this youths, but the saying," an idle mind is devil's workshop ",is a truism.
These youth's needs to be actively engaged in meaningful ventures, and this is where my solution comes in:

1: Revamping and building of a state of the art technical schools and vocational centres.

The importance of technical schools and vocational centres can't be over emphasized at this point in time in Nigeria. Most of our youths who might not be bright academically can be creative and more useful to the society if given the opportunity to learn a craft.
The fact that these vocational centres will be fully equip and have more esthetic appeal will attract these youths to the environment.

2:putting a stop to creation of more universities, and converting some universities to technical schools.
Proliferation of universities in Nigeria should be stopped. All these mushroom universities dishing out half baked graduates should be converted to technical schools and vocational centres.

I have seen where technicians do far better than some engineers, my office experience is a good example.

3:Government should give loans to graduands of technical schools and vocational centres.
The loans should be a flexible one, with better arrangements for repayment.

I know some will argued that most of these loans will not be paid back, but I believe with good arrangements, constant monitoring and supervisions, they should be able to pay.
If loanshark's and financial institutions loan out money to people with little or no collateral, and they pay, then government should be able to do better if they are sincere and don't politicize it.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Are Nigerian Graduates Employable? by crossfm:
Hehehe.

You made some valid points in your write up,but I can tell you that some Nigerian graduates are the best you can get.

Most people don't go for interview again because of the Nigerian factor(nepotism),so they prefer staying back at home, instead of wasting their money on transport.

Another area where I fault some employers is the years of experience they keep on talking about. What happens to training these guys, who knows they might be better than the ones who have spent years in such job.

Another thing I noticed about interviews in Nigeria is that, they don't interview you based on the job you applied for and your field of study.

Even the kind of music being churned out in the country, encouraging people to be evil while the adults dance away to the song should stop. Imagine Olamide Badoo openly telling people in Portable's song to be WICKED, giving energy to criminals while our adults listen and dance to it. These little children are getting validation to commit crimes.

It's a big shame and our society is fast failing.,
You said nothing but the truth. Youths are influence by what they see and hear.

See without a good economy, all this schools and centres you recommended won't work. When I say good economy, I mean policies, financial, innovative and infrastructure. When people can't buy services, then services will close down. When people can't buy goods, the manufacturer will fold up. Good economy "gives people the ability to buy". Imagine 30k monthly salary can't even provide enough food monthly, who will buy services when they haven't paid rent or school fees or transport bills.
You are right, but change is a gradual process.
If we must tell ourselves the truth, university certificate without skills these day is becoming a big waits. That is why some graduate's will finish school and move back to learning how to repair phones.

Even if the economy becomes stable and there is a lot of youths without skills, crime will still be on the high side. And don't forget that most of this skills if you are good at it,you can travel outside the country to countries that value such skills.

I'm with you on this.
When you visit villages you will cry. All these youths will be wearing stockings and short nickers going about shouting " I must make it".

Ask them what they do for a living? nothing, your qualification?,nothing. What about trade?,nothing but I will make it in life.

How can you make it while you do nothing.
Crime › Re: Ibadan Bullion Van Robbery: 3 Police Officers, 4 Civillians Dead by crossfm: 7:51am On Feb 11, 2022
This is very tragic.

The get rich syndrome, without having any useful thing doing will be the bane of this country.

Technical schools and vocational centres should be open in most places by the government. Opening of new universities should be stopped and priorities given to technical and vocational schools.

I mean standard schools and if possible grants or loans with a flexible repayable plans given to graduand's of such institutions.

Pochettino is another average coach like Ole, Lampard, David Moyes etc. For over 15years or even more, Pochettino hasn't won any Trophy.
Exactly my point, he should never be in the list at all,if not our problem will continue or even get worst.
