Wise talk.

They blow away their money on fake things, living fake life.

The funny thing is that once they are broke, they expect everyone to come to their aid, meanwhile they did nothing significant for the poor Masse's while they were flexing.

Those rich people who come out to donate money for them are hypocrites and clout chaser's,because a lot of poor people are around them who needs help but they will never donate to them.

I followed that rule until I suffered a lot. I would suggest that you treat others like the way they are and want to be treated not the way you are or you want to be treated.
You made a lot of sense, but what if you can't actually treat them the way they are or want to be treated based on "who you be" grin.

Sir let me tell you the truth. It's not religion as they want us to believe, it's powers that be.

Far beyond Nigeria.
You are not far from the truth, but we can't deny the fact that religion is one of the tools the power that be is using to achieve their aim.

Once they play the religion card, you will start hearing things like:
He is one of us.

He is our own thief.

He is killing for our sake.
Lol.

You are welcome. I like talking about things I learnt from bible research.

Life is short. And youth, shorter!
You are right about life being short.

Knowing how polarized along religion in Nigeria, I think its wise I maintain my neutrality when I write.I have come to realize that religion supremacy is plugging this nation into deep waters.

Thanks once again.

There is no negative form to the way Jesus used it.

His own version is "do to others as you would like to be done to you"

Why did I say it has no negative form to it?

What he is practically saying, is not "do to others as you would like to be done to you NOW". Which some people have found the negative form to. Example, they say "I don't want this particular person to greet me, I don't greet him as well".

But Jesus words is rightly interpreted as "do to others as you would like be done to you, IF YOU WERE IN THEIR SHOES". So in this instance, it is likely very noticeable, there can never be a negative form to it.
In my write up I never made mention of Jesus Christ position on the golden rule.I did that because I assume I was addressing people from different religion, including atheists.

Thanks for your input.

If only our wanna be feminists will listen.

They fall back to feministic ideology to unleash their dark side.
They want to be above men,but treat their domestic staff's as slaves.Wish their in-laws were dead.

My motto is love and respect for the individual in a relationship. And of course the golden rule.

The Golden Rule is the principle of treating others as one wants to be treated. It is a maxim that is found in most religions and cultures.[1] It can be considered an ethic of reciprocity in some religions, although different religions treat it differently.

The maxim may appear as a positive or negative injunction governing conduct:

Treat others as you would like others to treat you (positive or directive form)
Do not treat others in ways that you would not like to be treated (negative or prohibitive form)[1]
What you wish upon others, you wish upon yourself.

Benue state has really seen it all during this change era.

Benue state is a northern state only during electioneering year, after that they are been relegated to a slaughter ground.

The funny thing is that Benue politicians lack the balls to speak out.Watch and see how Audu Ogbeh, the figurehead chairman of AREWA keep quite while his people are been killed.

We begged them to even take our petrol for free, according to our minister for petroleum.

Just as we begged them to build railway for them, according to Amaechi.

Nigeria, the only country which have everything in abundance but wallow in abject poverty.
