The Nigerian Law and CBN Act doesn't give room for the Governor of the CBN to be removed by any other means other than 2/3 majority votes by the Senate or through resignation. Nigerian President does not have the power to unilaterally remove the Governor. Nothing like the word "suspension'' in CBN Act. We don't live in a banana republic.


Therefore, the purported removal of Governor Ifeanyi Emefiele and the appointment of an illegal fourth place Deputy Governor as Acting Governor is illegal, null and void and of no effect.

What has Tinubu done with the reports of monumental frauds in NNPC? What has he done about the fraud in IFRS, Customs, etc

Is Emefiele the one responsible for the thefts of Zamfara gold or the over 500000 barrels daily oil theft?

What about the report that Falana submitted to him a week ago? The man had to make it public because Tinubu was already sweeping it under the carpet.

This issue is becoming nuisance.

They failed to understand that each political party has right to select who they want to represent them for election.

In different states, we had had experience of christian-christian ticket for governorship election e.g Ekiti state. Also Muslim-muslim ticket in the north.

This is general election, if APC chose Muslim-muslim ticket if we are not happy with it, let another party also choose Christian-christian.

It is not the right of any religious group to choose for political party

Election is different from selection
