I advise you do IELTS as UKVI has suspended PTE. Also, why did you need either of those exams when there are school that could evaluate you via skype interview and skip the whole stuff?

Teeside University is cool. I just think sometimes they ask student to write IELTS which is needless for Postgraduate admission

Required maintenance fund is for 9 months. The same principle applies for undergraduate

i have been outside the country to South Africa,Cyprus,Maldives,Tanzania and Uganda these are all commonwealth countries,should i still list them or just click No.

Please be truthful as much as you can remember. I advise you quote Cyprus, South Africa, Maldives provided you have the detail on your current passport and does not exceed ten years

Most schools takes 2-5 days at most..after the money is confirmed. What is the name of your school

It depends on the school. You can apply for a late enrollment letter from the school

Quite a handful of them. Just some of the school majorly have intake for September.

You can check: Sheffield Halam University, UCLAN, BPP, East Anglia, Wolverampton.

KazNaija: The refusal letter doesn't mention the CAS at all. The school is University of Nottingham

Contact the school and ask if you could still apply with the former CAS. Better still put a call through to them with your student ID in view

Abuja preferrably but ensure you have a late enrollment letter attached to your application. Also confirm that your CAS is still active.

That is definitely enough. if the reason was purely base on maintenance fees then you need to seek for administrative review or better still reapply

Also, what is the name of the school. Read through the refusal letter patiently and see that the CAS has not being used.

KazNaija: No dependent following me. Just me.

You should have use the 5Milllion acct only to save yourself of this trouble. if the 5 Million covers the maintenance and the full tuition, then quickly request for an administrative review with the support of a legal practitioner. That would help to fast track the attention they give to your appeal.

KazNaija: There were 3 bank statements all in the same name and their reason was insufficient funds when they didn't count the 3rd statement with over 5m. Do I need a new CAS or can I reapply with the same one?

You need a new CAS as the old one have been used. Also do you have dependant following you to the UK

oh University of Manchester. That's a great University but am not certain they do have January intake. Most programmes are for September. However, write a mail to your programme director at the school and explain the situation to him/her.

Then make a request for late enrollment for 12th October 2014.

They should be able to give you a letter. Don't terminate your application yet. What course do you intend to study?

lay86: when you make enquiry to know the status of your application they do not tell you if you visa has been approved or not they just tell you your application has been processesd

I thought you said you got a mail and not an inquiry. If it is an inquiry, that is a general response. However, most do normally receive mail if the application is successful confirming the result.

Dont alter the value on the online form but put the correct answer in the paper form and state the reason in the additional space provided in the paper application form. That it was an oversight on your part for quoting the wrong maintenance fund on the online form. This should settle the matter.

That a decision has been made without it stating that your application has been approved and visa issued.

Most times if you receive that kind of mail, there is high probability you were not given the visa. But dont loose hope yet. You could be fortunate.

I submitted my application at Teleperformance Lagos on 1st sept. I have been checking on them and ukvi after I realized what I've gotten myself into from information on this thread.

Ukvi's response to my email on Frid is attached.

My school already resumed and lecture starts tomorrow.

Can I cancel my visa application at this stage cos I'm already thinking of Jan option if I get a good school.

I dont understan by that you mean by what you get yourself into. Meanwhile, some school do have late enrollment. What is the name of the school so I can advise you better.

Floxcandy: Hi everyone.am new here. I applied through teleperfomance and I paid for the return courier service long after my submission and interview. Though I have been mailed since on the 18th that my passport is ready for collection, am yet to get any mail as regards to the courier service.Am far away from Lagos and that's the reason I used the service. Was I supposed to have paid for that service before going for my interview. Is there any possibility that my docs could still be in teleperfomance.
Pls anyone with similar issue.

The carrier could be funny at times. Call them up or email them with your tracking detail and the information yo have. Congratulation!

perfect08: I mistakenly fill amount per week instead of per month in the "HOW MUCH FUNDING HBO PER MONTH DO YOU HAVE TO COVER YOUR MAINTENANCE CHARGES?". wrote 322 instead of 1288. However I have a sponsorship letter from the federal government showing the actual figure per year. Should I be worried? I'm yet to go for Biometrics. Thanks

There is nothing you could do about that. But you could explain on the paper form. Are you studying outside London Bourough or Inside?
